Awesome Music / Rollerdrome

Rollerdrome being a very unique game that takes the best of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Jet Set Radio is one thing, but the game's soundtrack really adds to the atmosphere and makes going ham on unfortunate House Players all the more satisfying.

  • The game's main theme is a slow, atmospheric track that paints a picture of a Moebius-inspired dystopia, ruled by corporations powerful enough to impose their will as they so please through the form of a violent Blood Sport where only the strong survive. The ending version, is a proper Triumphant Reprise, heralding the arrival of a new champion... Kara Hassan.
  • The game's other main menu theme, Echo Basin, is a very soothing and atmospheric piece that also underlines the conspiracy that drives the titular sport.
  • For when you need to get quick and dirty without all the retail therapy, there's Greenbay Mall, a fast-paced synth-heavy track that is sure to get those trigger fingers into overdrive!
  • Kara's Theme starts out slow and melancholic, but becomes progressively more and more heroic until the first drop, making it sound like a Heroic Second Wind in the process. The synth at the 1:20 mark is incredibly infectious as you're mowing through House Players like grass.
  • An oppressive track if there ever was one, Matterhorn's Rise is an intense and corporate (heh) track that is quick to remind you that you're up against an evil corporation that will stop at nothing to see you dead. And if that wasn't enough, the synth at the 2:00 mark is sure to get you in the mood to kick some serious ass.
  • Pike's Canyon, the second level theme, played in the State of Play 2022 Reveal Trailer. It's a very fast-paced and intense tune that's a joy to hear as you blow missiles out of the air in slow motion!
  • The theme of the dreaded Spider-Tank, To the Death, wastes no time in showing you the kind of boss you're dealing with (and the lengths Matterhorn are willing to go to see Kara gone, on top of that).
  • Zugspitz Station a track that, especially with the fast-paced synths reminiscent of a CoLD SToRAGE (aka, Tim Wright) track, in the beginning, would very much feel right at home in WipEout.
