Awesome / Velma

• Fred defending Velma in the first episode after she gets booed by the other students (after one accused her Hotter and Sexier makeover of being nothing but an attempted distraction to make people less suspicious of her as a murder suspect). While his speech is a little off the mark, it does get the students cheering for her and to back off, showing that despite Fred being The Ditz, he's not completely uncaring. Even better is beforehand, when one student throws a paper cutter at Velma, Fred catches it and throws it back effortlessly.
• After putting up with her pushing him around for so long, having his confession laughed at, and having his father being wrongfully accused of murder, Norville finally gets fed up with Velma and ends their friendship in the ninth episode.
• Norville's Big Damn Heroes moment in the finale where he saves Velma from being shot by Victoria by deflecting the bullet with his handmade sword causing it to bounce off and hit a stalactite which falls and graphically kills Victoria.
• Fred managing to break out of his restraints in the finale and rescue Daphne and Velma.
