• Sarutobi just by showing up and meeting Gaara in chapter 6. Gaara is not in a good mood and looks ready to go on a rampage when he meets Sakura for the first time but then The Sandaime shows up and calmly stands before him and Gaara realizes that he is too strong to fight and backs off and leaves. He showed no signs of threatening or even said a word or changed his expression, his presence is enough for an unstable Jinchuurki to back off and leave.
• Most people when finding out Sakura was selected laughed it off and thought of it as a joke with some questioning Sarutobi. But during The Chunin Exam Arc, Sakura shows to everyone she's not the cheerleading Sasuke obsessed fangirl anymore.
  • During the testing room when Neji tries to put her down, Sakura takes it in stride and ignores him, but when he makes a remark about Sarutobi, she shocks everyone by standing up to him and counters his Breaking Speech letting him know that for all his arrogance and how he looks down upon everyone, he's just an expendable servant to his clan in their eyes
  • Then she gets paired up with him in the Preliminary Round. And with skillful planning and ninja trickery playing into his ego to believe he's won leading to him getting trapped, Sakura Haruno defeats Neji Hyuga!
• Naruto gets one during The Forest of Death, throughout the story Kyuubi has been trying to get him to make it so Sakura gets injured and force Sarutobi to chose another Apprentice and Naruto earlier expressed disappointment that he hadn't been picked. But when The Nine Tailed Fox tries it again during The Forest of Death, Naruto calmly asks him that if he's not a mindless rampaging monster which he hates being viewed as, than why does he spend all his time lusting about causing chaos and havoc thus proving everyone right about him? Kyuubi for the first time is unable to say anything
