- Kyojuro cuts down the demon who dragged Kagome into the past with ease, inspiring her to follow in his footsteps despite having only met him that same day.
Training At House Rengoku
Ch.5-Kyojuro And Kagome Fight Together!
- Kyojuro and Kagome work together and save a gravely injured Inuyasha from Naraku’s minions, and Kagome manages to make her first demon kill.
- Inuyasha’s sheer grit and determination to take the Final Selection at the same time as Kagome, refusing to fall behind, despite only having six months to get into proper shape.
Final Selection
Ch.8-Survive! No Matter What!
- The Final Selection participants all get to show their skills in the Final Selection:
- Sango uses the Breath of Stone to deflect wooden shrapnel fired at her and decapitate one demon before he could understand what was going on. Then she catches an attacking demon in a vicious two-pronged, wide ranged attack and decapitates him with her scythe.
- Miroku uses the Breath of Sound to listen to a girl and a demon's footsteps to determine where to strike, then uses Tengen's bombs in tandem with his katana and naginata to destroy the demon's head and save the girl.
- Genya shoots one demon's head off with a Nichirin bullet.
- Kagome and Inuyasha get show the fruit of their training under Kyojuro, effortlessly killing six demons that tried to pick a fight with them. The last one would get pinned to a tree by Kagome's arrow before she finishes the demon off.
- Kanao, Inosuke, and Koga had already managed to kill the demons they was facing by the time the scene is focused on them. Kanao just walks away without speaking, while Inosuke and Koga brag about their accomplishments.
Ch.9-Hands
- Tanjiro, Kagome and Inuyasha taking down the Hand Demon together. For their first time teaming up, they show impressive synergy.
Mount Natagumo
Ch.29-Hinokami Kagura
- When Tanjiro uses his Hinokami Kagura against Rui, does a stunned Kagome just stand back and let him fight alone? Nope! She instead endures the pain from the wound Rui inflicted on her back and combines all the Flame Breathing techniques she knows in order to back up Tanjiro. She even manages to cut Rui's back at the same time Tanjiro starts to cut through Rui's neck.
Tsuruga Port
Muichiro Tokito vs Bankotsu and Jakotsu
- The Mist Hashira takes on two of the Band of Seven. Even though they aren’t particularly powerful demons, they are very skilled swordsmen and keep Muichiro on his toes for the entire battle, though he still proves why he’s a Hashira in the end and kills them swiftly.
Naraku Raid
Ch.56-Shinobu Kocho & Kanao Tsuyuri vs Musō
- Shinobu's act of using multiple poisons on Musō to make him die the most slow, painful, and humiliating death possible for all the women he raped and fed on.
- Zenitsu, in a rare display of conscious courage, takes on the Thunder brothers and soundly defeats them. Crosses over with heartwarming when one considers that his primary motivation is avenging his master’s honor.
- Naraku is taken down by the combined efforts of five Hashira, Tanjiro, Kagome and several other Slayers.
Mugen Train
Ch.68-Insult
- Satoru and Mayu standing their ground and refusing to help Emnu's pawns attack Tanjiro and Kagome, knowing that their mother wouldn't want them to hurt other people just to see her again.
- Unlike in canon, Kyojuro actually comes EVEN CLOSER to killing Akaza, with the narration describing his sword as being mere CENTIMETERS from cutting his head off. And Kagome even gets in on it by shooting a Nichirin arrow through his eye.
