  • The "Dance of the Little Swans", one of the most well-known dances in the show, where four of the corps dancers perform precise, speedy footwork while interlocking hands.
  • Odile's thirty-two fouettés in the coda to her pas de deux with the prince, cited by many as among the most difficult pieces of ballet ever choreographed. It's no wonder Siegfried pledges undying love to her after seeing that. (Click here to see them performed by Gillian Murphy of the American Ballet Theatre, who not only pulls them off near-flawlessly but does so in perfect time to the music.)
    • Siegfried follows it with impressive fouettes himself, showing he's just as enchanted as the audience.
  • Some productions have von Rothbart double as Siegfried's tutor or advisor to the Queen Mother, showing he was watching from behind the scenes all along and knew exactly how to trick the prince later on.
  • The Happily Ever After ending versions usually show an awesome defeat of Rothbart.
  • The Matthew Bourne has its own particularly awesome scene where the swan takes on his entire flock in order to try and save the prince from them.
  • One ending had Rothbart defeat the Prince and claim Odette forever. To have a The Bad Guy Wins ending is pretty ballsy.
  • Another ending had Odette stand up to Rothbart and shield Siegfried with her body, the act of self-sacrifice breaking his spells.
