Unmarked spoilers ahead.

  • Taabe gets a moment of this early on where, after Naru jokingly tunes out of his hunting story, he quickly draws an arrow and shoots a hawk out of the sky.
  • An understated moment of awesome, but awesome nevertheless. When the Comanche party finds the missing hunter taken by the mountain lion, as Naru applies medicine to keep him stable, the other hunters immediately set about constructing a litter to carry him back to camp. They do this with such clarity and efficiency the whole montage is fascinating to watch, from cutting tree limbs to size to weaving ropes to one of the hunters stepping on the netting to make sure it will hold the man's weight for the duration. And, as a result of everyone's work, the hunter lives to hunt another day.
  • While a fountain of Nightmare Fuel, the Feral Predator definitely kicks a whole heap of ass throughout the film.
    • It's introduced to Naru by wrestling with a bear. How does the fight end? With the Predator punching the bear in the face while it's charging, killing it in one hit. This is then followed by the alien gutting and deadlifting the bear's carcass, showering its blood over its invisible form with a triumphant roar.
    • The biggest example by far has to be during the attack on the French tracking party:
      • To start, it takes down a team on horseback before any of them can even say a word, cutting them down and sending the mounts fleeing.
      • The trackers try to ensnare it using bear traps, but the Predator simply brushes those off in a few moments and even throws one at a hunter's head! Not to mention it uses its netgun to pin one unlucky fellow against a log and turn him into nothing but chunks of meat.
      • On the bear traps: they don't even slow the Predator down. It does have to cut the one on its leg off, but the one on its arm? It just hangs off its wrist gauntlet until it uses it as a weapon against the people who'd deployed it. Predators don't wear much armor, but what they do wear is fucking indestructible.
      • The Predator then goes on to mow down tracker after tracker until it starts leaping through the trees to dodge gunfire. After that, it activates its gauntlet in what seems like a move taken from the original, only for it to unleash three devices that pretty much cut down the entire French hunting party.
      • Assholes though they are, a few of the trappers attempt moments of badassery. One draws his knife and tries challenging the Predator. However, it just launches one of the hunters' bear traps back against him. Another tries to save his comrade with a hatchet swing, only to end up with his own hatchet in his skull instead. Points for trying.
  • Using a rock, Naru is able to set off a bear trap and get both her and Taabe free. She also uses the opportunity to psyche Taabe out with a tale about a beaver chewing its own leg off to save itself from death.
  • Taabe gets a few more moments of awesome after the Predator finishes off the Frenchmen, notably when he leaps off his horse and stabs the Predator in the chest with its own spear before launching some arrows at it. As the two fight, he rips his arrows out of the Predator and shoots it again before the Predator cloaks.
    • Even after being stabbed in the chest, he tries once more to fight the Predator, stabbing it in the leg to give Naru the time to flee at the cost of his own life. A warrior to the end.
  • At the end, Naru completes her transition into full-blown Action Girl by using the abusive and murderous French tracker captain as bait, monologuing to him for a good while before the Predator arrives. She ingests an orange flower, previously established to mask one's thermal signature, and steps back to let the hunter kill the gun-wielding Frenchman before then using a flintlock pistol to shoot the Predator point-blank in the head from behind and dislodge and steal the Predator's bone-covered dart-controlling heads-up-display mask.
    • The entire climax culminates in her using various tactics she's learned over the course of the film to outsmart and eventually kill the Predator, decapitating it. If The Stinger is anything to go by, it's even implied she may receive a similar prize as Harrigan in the far future.
      • Naru at one point rips off the Predator's fang and stabs it with it.
      • Before that, however, she tricks it into getting its arm stuck in a tree and then deploying its shield, cutting off its own arm. Even the Predator pauses before roaring in rage in what could be shock, admiration, or both.
