The legends of the man-eater Wendigo are based In-Universe on the events of this movie
  • No. The Wendigo does not appear in Comanche mythology.

The Predator ships at the end are there to offer Naru a proper prize for her success against the Feral Predator
  • It's already been established that the Predators recognize a good challenger with Harrigan being a prime example. So, rather than being there to attack, the ships are there to offer Naru a proper prize for taking down a Yautja warrior, and in exchange, perhaps Naru simply gives the Predators Adolini's pistol in return, explaining how it ends up in the hands of Greyback.
    • If that was the case, how come they're sending three ships instead of just one?
      • Why indeed are they sending three ships? Does it really take more than one ship's worth of Predators to wipe out a single band of Comanche, when one individual already almost did the job? Three Predator ships might be enough to hunt 18th century humanity to near extinction. If they had had hostile intent, the modern Predator movies couldn't have taken place on such a relatively normal Earth.

The Raphael Adolini is not the same one from the comics but his son
  • The one in the film merely descended from the pirate and the pistol was merely reforged for a gift to his child.

A potential sequel will feature the Comanches in an Enemy Mine situation with neighboring Apache tribes.

Some of the Comanches will end up leaving Earth with any potential moderate predators to spread their culture to the stars.
  • A Worthy Opponent ends up staying with the predators in the anthology If It Bleeds.

An ancestor of Dutch, Keyes, Royce or Harrigan will appear in a sequel.

The falcon drones and spiny beasts from Predators will be in a sequel.

A future film will go even further back in time to prehistoric eras, with early man up against the Predators.

  • Plus there would be Predators going up against ice age beasts, which would be epic.

This film will lead to another spin-off that explores the story of the katana found in Predators

Naru created the "trophy for surviving" tradition

  • as bad as the end credits look, one must keep in mind not only is the pistol willingly given away at the end of Predator 2, but that it's of a different tribe then the one the Feral Predator has been confirmed of belonging to. Thus, when the Feral's tribe came for his body, Naru gave them the pistol as well and the tradition spread throughout the Yajuta homeworld from there

Naru will be adopted into Predator culture
  • Like Machiko Noguchi in Aliens vs Predator comic, Naru would be adopted into Predator and next works will involve her Going Native with their culture.

The Feral Predator's helmet is made from a Xenomorph skull

The ships at the end abduct Naru and take her to the game reserve planet from Predators

Billy from the first film is a descendant of Naru.
