Despite being heavily comedy-based, Peacemaker has no shortage of amazing action and kick-ass moments.
Episode 3 - Better Goff Dead
- Peacemaker gets a killer Pre-Mortem One-Liner before blowing out Senator Goff's brains.Peacemaker: Peace out, motherfucker!
- Economos ramming into Judomaster with the van they're operating from before he can escape, then beating him unconscious. Beware the Nice Ones indeed.
Episode 4 - The Choad Less Travelled
- Peacemaker going off on an old man who criticizes him for not having a Rogues Gallery like a "real" superhero, countering that the reason he doesn't have a Rogues Gallery is because none of his villains live to be repeat offenders. He then goes on a huge rant about his belief that pacifism is moral cowardice, and that Batman is responsible for an unfathomable amount of human suffering due to his insistence on repeatedly putting his enemies in a jail they will inevitably break out of to do more harm.
- Vigilante verbally eviscerating Auggie's Aryan posse before giving them a gratifying beatdown.
Episode 5 - Monkey Dory
- Economos piercing Charlie the gorilla with a chainsaw from behind. He earns Peacemaker's sincere respect for this, and he even tones down the bullying.
- Peacemaker displays his craftiness by throwing a Russian tank shell strapped to a grenade and pulling the grenade pin as a way to kill a mound of butterflies. He gets in another Pre-Mortem One-Liner before the slowmo shot of him and Leota evading the explosion.Peacemaker: Eat peace, motherfuckers!
Episode 6 - Murn After Reading
- He's a racist POS and a shitty parent, but it's undeniably awesome to watch Auggie Smith finally gear up into the comic-book accurate White Dragon suit, even more so if you're looking forward to Peacemaker kicking his ass.
- Doubles as Nightmare Fuel, but the Butterfly Queen infiltrates the entire Evergreen Police Department through Detective Song, unleashing a horde of her followers to take over the other cops and even use the prisoners as new hosts.
Episode 7 - Stop Dragon My Heart Around
- Peacemaker, Vigilante, and Economos versus The White Dragon and his gang of white supremacists.
- Vigilante saving Peacemaker twice, once by holding back White Dragon with sub-machine gun fire and a grenade explosion (which Vij got caught in too), and then later by stabbing one of the weak spots in his armor, disabling his energy tech and allowing Peacemaker to defeat him.
- Economos saving his teammates for a third time by mowing down an entire Klansman cell with a P90.
- After 6 episodes of taking verbal and physical abuse with little pushback despite all his attempts at being a worthy son, Peacemaker finally stands up to his father and proceeds to beat the ever-loving shit out of him, calling out his toxic parenting while doing so.
Episode 8 - It's Cow or Never
- The kick-off to the final battle:Peacemaker: Let's go kill a cow.
Wig Wam: Do you really wanna, do you really wanna taste it? - The final battle has many kickass moments:
- As soon as the battle enters close combat, we get a 15 second one-take as a handheld camera shows everyone tearing through the Butterfilies with guns and melee weapons.
- Peacemaker using his shield offensively, Captain America-style, and shooting it midair to make it a lethal projectile.
- Harcourt manages to kill a butterfly without a host body with her knife.
- Harcourt shoots a Butterfly in the leg before he can hit Peacemaker, allowing him to launch him into the air and then smash him down with a face slice with his shield.
- Vigilante displays his proficiency with a machete by beheading and dismembering lots of butterflies. When he gets shot, he casually pulls out a knife and throws it behind him without looking to kill the shooter as he collapses, perfectly in time with the song.
DEVIL IN DISGUISE- Adebayo going ballistic on a swarm of Butterflies once the fight goes sideways.
- After Adebayo saves Harcourt, Economos suddenly appears and rolls the Human Torpedo helmet over to her. Despite having just broken his leg, he crawled all the way back over the fence to the helmets and then dragged himself almost impossibly fast to Adebayo and Harcourt with it to save the day.
- Peacemaker using Leota to kill the Cow with his Human Torpedo helmet. More poignantly, said moment happens after Goff reveals the Butterflies' motivation for world domination: that they took a vow to save humanity from themselves and achieve peace, no matter how many innocents they had to kill to get it. Chris looks extremely conflicted, being reminded of his own vow he took, and it appears he might actually join Goff. Instead, Peacemaker utters the line shown below, and in the process proves that he's changed from the twisted sociopath he was in The Suicide Squad, redeeming himself and becoming a true superhero in the process.Peacemaker: Why the fuck would I help you?Goff: Because I know that once I tell you the truth, like I did with Judomaster, you'll join us.Peacemaker: Murn already told us the truth. You murdered innocent people all over the country by taking them over in your dipshit quest for power.Goff: We're not doing this for power. We're doing this because we took a vow.
(Flashback to Chris making his own vow after the death of his brother)Goff: And so we made a vow. To do anything we could to change your future. We made a vow. To make the choices you were unwilling to take on your own. To save your people and your world no matter how many lives it cost us.
(Flashback to Keith's death)Goff: Murn disagreed with our methods. He didn't think we had the right to impose our will. But, you're one of us, Christopher Smith.
(Flashback to various traumatic moments in Chris' life)Goff: Thank you for feeding me and talking to me, and showing me kindness. I see who you are, and I see your character. I tried telling you yesterday, in the jar.Peacemaker: Peace sign.Goff: Please, fullfill your calling. Be the Peacemaker. Join us in saving your planet. What do you say?Peacemaker: Activate Human Torpedo.
(Leota, wearing the helmet, has her whole body launched hard enough to pierce the Cow’s body and kill it) - The slow-mo shot after the final battle. Despite all the members being injured to some degree, the triumphant music makes it clear that this is their finest hour; five non-metahumans managed to stop an alien invasion all by themselves. Even the Justice League can't do anything except silently stand in respect at the scale of what these people have accomplished.
- Even if they're too late to actually help, the fact that Amanda Waller was able to use her influence to call in the Justice League as the cavalry shows that she's able to produce results.
- Leota standing up to her mother, exposing Project Butterfly and Task Force X to clear Peacemaker's name. Amanda Waller's reaction to her daughter revealing all of her secret schemes is gold.
