"How about we kick some ass?"

When a series is Arabian Nights mixed with Shōnen, these moments are inevitably going to show up.

  • Pre-series: Sinbad conquering the very first dungeon fourteen years ago.
  • Alibaba revealing his superiority over Jamil in every way in Amon's dungeon.
    • How about when Aladdin tells him that he is unworthy of being a King Candidate? Considering what Jamil has done, it's nice to see this spineless bastard getting an emotional kick to the groin like that.
      • Not only that, it's implied Jamil was essentially brought up to be a sociopath because Al-Thamen was setting him up to become a King Vessel under their control. And Aladdin and Alibaba's presence in the dungeon Screwed them over before the two even were aware Al-Thamen was a thing!
    • Alibaba and Aladdin beating their first dungeon together.
  • Hakuei revealing that she's a general in the Kou Empire for a reason.
  • Morgiana overcoming her fears and traumas of slavery.
    • Episode 6 of the anime, Morgiana making the situation completely clear to her would-be captor.
    • "I can break these cuffs." And then Morgiana proceeds to kill the poisonous saber-toothed tigers sent after her.
  • "Presenting the new and improved Bitch Slap, now in giant economy size."
  • Alibaba revealing exactly why he's called "Wonder Man Alibaba."
  • Sinbad and Co. dominating the Fog Troupe when Cassim comes to take Alibaba back.
    • In episode 9 of the anime, Alibaba's adamant declaration that he's no different than Kassim and the Fog Troupe.
  • Sinbad's pep talk to the Fog Troupe.
  • Uugo's beatdown on Judar. Sadly it becomes a Tear Jerker soon after since he's too weak to fight off Kougyoku.
  • Sahbmad overcoming his fears and anxiety to ask Alibaba to save the country.
  • Aladdin coming in to save Alibaba against Judar and Dark Djinn Cassim. Everyone still thinks they're screwed when Aladdin admits that Uugo isn't with him anymore until he reveals Solomon's Wisdom.
  • Masrur, Ja'far, and Sinbad get their vessels back.
  • Whenever Sinbad gets an Instant Harem. The other guys can only look on in jealousy.
  • While he was overshadowed by the main trio at the time, Hakuryuu did a decent job handling his own against Zagan's stone golems, with Morgiana helping out and finishing the job when Hakuryuu's life was threatened from his constant usage of Magoi manipulation.
  • Morgiana gaining her household vessel in Zagan's dungeon.
  • Masrur, Yamraiha, and Sharrkan's Big Damn Heroes moment after Al-Thamen pulls a Conveniently Timed Attack from Behind.
  • Episode 25 of the anime, "Alibaba and Aladdin", Morginana rushing in to join the battle against the now Mind Controlled Alibaba.
    • Kogyoku's contribution in defending Sindria from Al-Thamen's forces. Managing to defeat the remaining threat with apparent ease.
  • Kougyoku and Sinbad's sparring match, in which we see two Full Djinn Equip users go at each other.
    • From episode 2 of season 2 of the anime, the music that plays during their duel was also awesome.
  • Hakuryuu showing off Zagan's abilities for the first time, even if only briefly, against the child pirates. Had it not been for their leader having a hostage, he would have easily wiped the floor with them. He gets extra points for secretly planting a seed that serves as a tracking device, allowing them to trail the pirates to their hideout.
  • One can't help but feel a measure of satisfaction when Hakuryuu kills Madaura. The beautiful irony in the scene only makes it more satisfying. She appears to be putting him under her spell and encourages him to follow "mother's" orders. His only response is to smile silently and take her head off with one slash.
  • Alibaba's first gladiatorial fight. His first enemy is a giant ape, which outclasses Alibaba in every physical way, and intelligence. Needless to say, Alibaba is slaughtered... until he remembers how he fought with Cassim during the old days. From that point on, the advantage tilts to the other side. And for a bonus, remember the conflicting Magoi inside him? Those become one as a result of him accepting Cassim's memories.
  • Aladdin using gravity magic in order to create a giant clay doll of Uugo.
  • Episode 43 "Reim's Threat", Sheherazade's speech of the strength of "human power", in defiance of Mogamett's philosophy that humans are weak vile creatures.
Sheherazade: On occasion mistakes are made, entire generations have been rooted in tragedy. For better or worse, that is the only way they can truly learn. Past failures will be overcome. They'll stand up and move forward, with nothing left to hold them back! They will rise to their own two feet! By the power of their own free will!
  • Aladdin arriving at the core of the battlefield to save Titus and stop this bloodshed genocide... and finally taking off the bandages covering his Power Limiter.
  • Aladdin proves his Magi power by having his new golems firing a giant laser that cuts a giant swathe from the Magnostadt to the beach miles away. Aladdin won't destroy an army but he is certainly capable.
  • Winning a large scale battle single-handedly is impressive but Aladdin does it without killing anyone.
    • While this is all going on, Titus steps up despite his fears and confronts Chancellor Moghamett, he dies in the process but not before he succeeds.
  • After being constantly overshadowed by the magically gifted Aladdin and physically powerful Morgiana, Alibaba steals the spotlight with his first appearance blocking the ultimate attack of Reim's top general, that had the potential to destroy an entire city, with an attitude of casual finesse.
  • Chapter 208: Alibaba was requested to kneel in front of Kouen, in Balbadd. Considering Alibaba is the prince of the country, there is no bigger shame than a prince kneeling like a commoner in front of the entire court. Balbadd's soldiers were about to grief for him for bearing such humiliation but Alibaba's answer is, he told to Kouen's entire court and Kouen himself that he doesn't mind kneeling in front of him, but it's a custom in Balbadd to kneel in front of a pregnant woman to wish for safe childbirth, terrorizing the thoughts of Kouen's court that by getting Alibaba to kneel before Kouen is to treat Kouen AS A PREGNANT WOMAN!! Yeah, Alibaba, the Butt-Monkey for the past few chapters, outsmarts the entirety of Kouen's court. AWESOME.
  • The arrival of Kou Empire's fully equipped dungeon conquerors.
    • Try the arrival of Sinbad and his Seven Seas Alliance, all Djinn Equipped and ready for battle. And to top it all off, Morgiana finally appears after 20+ chapters to save an exhausted Alibaba.
  • Of all people, the two Flame Djinn users, Ren Kouen and Alibaba, work together to destroy the defensive wall of Al-Thamen's father.
  • Basically, ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING HAPPENING ON THE BATTLEFIELD BETWEEN THE FULLY DJINN EQUIPPED METAL VESSEL USERS AND AL-THAMEN'S FATHER.
    • Such sights include stuff like 13 Djinn Equipped metal vessel users utilizing their Extreme Magic at the same time!. And that still wasn't enough to beat him back!
    • Kougyoku going into a full berserk rage when Alibaba (her first real friend) and Koen (her eldest brother, whom she admires greatly) are badly injured by the Medium. She then unleashes the first attack to do any damage against the Medium.
Kougyoku: How can you even dare do such a thing, to my friend and my brother!? You hideous monster!
  • Chapter 244: Though it also doubles as a case of Moral Event Horizon, you have to admit that Hakuryuu and Judar forcing a Djinn, a freaking Djinn, into submission against his will speaks volumes about how many levels in badass they took while off-screen.
    • While it's mainly tragic and horrifying, there's just something awesome about the speech Hakuryuu makes when he, along with Judar (for the second time), decides to fight against their fate and fall into depravity.
Hakuryuu: Even if I know that this is the right path... Like hell I can continue living, with this thing inside of me! I can't live! I can't move forward! If this world rejects us, then... we will destroy this world, and create it anew!
  • An Offscreen Moment of Awesome for Hakuryuu: even though he gained both Zagan and Belial with the help of a Magi (Aladdin and Judar, respectively), he was able to master both Djinn Equips in a short amount of time. This especially applies in mastering Belial, since it had not been even at least a month when he was already able to fully utilize Belial's abilities, and efficiently combine both his Djinns' abilities in battle.
  • Chapter 246: When Hakuryuu was subdued by Phenex to prevent him from acting on his revenge, he resists with all his willpower and even nullifies Phenex's hold (somewhat) by stabbing himself in the leg. Phenex's magic was supposed to paralyze him, yet he was still able to make himself move. He just resisted a Djinn, and there was no use of any Metal Vessel or the support of another Magi to help him do that.
    • Villainous it may be, there is also Hakuryuu's Rousing Speech which he gives to the Kou Empire after Judar shows them Gyokuen's true colors with clairvoyance magic.
Hakuryuu: I'm here to kill the traitor who greedily devoured this country, Ren Gyokuen! I will cut down anyone who gets in my way! But if there are those who want to exact vengeance with me, then raise your swords! I am the legitimate king of the Kou Empire!
  • Chapter 249: One has to give Hakuryuu credit: he will do whatever it takes to kill Gyokuen, to the point that when she stabs him during their duel, he retaliates by biting off a large chunk of her neck. Even Gyokuen was taken by surprise.
  • Chapter 258: Hakuryuu comes at Alibaba dual equipping Zagan and Belial and using the latter to sever all nerves in Alibaba's leg. Crippled and facing the only known user able to equip two djinn at the same time, Alibaba's response is to give Hakuryuu an epic beatdown not even stopping when Hakuryuu does the same to one of his arms shouting "I'LL NEVER LOSE AGAINST YOU, NO MATTER WHAT!"
  • Chapter 260: Dhoruf Asshara. Combined with the force of the "Sand Ugos" punching Judar, Aladdin changes the laws of the forces in the world to "completely fix" the force of the strike onto Judar with the same intensity and in the same direction. Aladdin uses it to push Judar out into space, and the implication is that Judar's body will continue to be propelled through space for all eternity, long after his body is reduced to dust.
    • Which gives one moment to Ugo as well when he casually defuses the spell and re-directs Judar towards the location where Alibaba's Rukh is located.
  • Chapter 262: An understated one, but there's Hakuryuu getting Aladdin to question his own views of falling into depravity, while subtly telling him that doing so doesn't automatically make one evil, and everyone has their reasons for doing what they do be they noble or something entirely other; even if it means cursing their fates to achieve their dreams. It's a particularly good dig at the concept of "there's only good/right and evil/wrong" in a fantasy setting.
  • Chapter 263: A subtle one on Aladdin's part. Olba swears revenge against Hakuryuu for putting Alibaba into a death-like state. Aladdin quietly and kindly defuses Olba's fury by reminding him that Alibaba would not want him to act that way. It's a quiet but wonderful moment in a series that shows the horrific results of cycles of revenge and well-intentioned extremism.
  • Chapter 289: Alibaba using his new ability he gained from being dead to walk through all the Kou empire's guards. Literally. He never breaks out into a run, never even seems to be trying. Being able to freeze time from your personal perspective is a great power.
  • Chapter 309-312: After a fairly slow-paced and dialogue-heavy start of the final major arc, we get an epic battle sequence involving Arba. She fights Yunan, Hakuryuu and Morgiana and finally Aladdin in succession.
    • Her battle with Yunan is the first time we actually see Yunan fight on-screen and he's definitely no pushover, summoning gigantic thunderstorms and completely tearing Arba apart. He only loses due to not having an answer for her absurd regeneration.
    • Hakuryuu manipulating the bacteria of the Dark Continent with Zagan to continuously break down Arba's body to score hits against her. Morgiana also lets loose, having been trained by actual Fanalis in their ways of combat, literally kicking Arba around, forcing her to abandon her pride and go all out.
    • The climactic battle between Aladdin and Arba kicks the "Holy Shit!" Quotient up a few notches. Arba rains down extreme magic spells on Aladdin, who shows just how strong he has become over the timeskip by using Solomon's gravity magic to counter every one of them. Arba then reveals her trump card: a HUGE congregation of Al-Thamen puppets, all of which pool their magoi together into multiple Djinn-specific extreme magic spells to be fired at the same time! Aladdin ultimately deflects the attack, clashes with Arba and uses alchemical magic to separate Arba from Hakuei's body.
  • Sinbad vs Ugo. Sinbad lives up to his one-man army status by taking on Ugo's army of Rukh guardians all by himself, cycling through multiple Djinn-equips to counter their various defenses and attack patterns.
    • Sinbad, despite being no match for Ugo's power, still tries to reach the Sacred Palace. Despite having his Djinn equips destroyed, despite having his hands burned away, and then his body he still tries to reach the Palace. Only when he has nothing left does he finally admit he's lost.
    • But, as it turns out, Sinbad just used David as a stepping stone to ascend to a higher order.
  • How does Ugo beat David and Ill Ilah? He reveals that, in his spare time - 1*10^51 years, to be precise -he found out how to re-arrange the divine ranks of Gods in-universe to place himself above Ill Ilah. Then he places David and Ill-Ilah into a fish-tank in the Sacred Palace and lets Elder David create a Universe.
    • It's not over...Sinbad reveals it was all part of his master plan. His death was just the beginning of his ascension to Godhood. So, how does he beat Ugo? Simple. Trick Ugo with a vision of Solomon telling him to rest. Sinbad has become God with David/Ill Ilah as his Magi.
  • As it turned out, Hakuryuu and Judar's fall into depravity in Chapter 244 did them good in the long run: since their black Rukh is outside Sinbad's control, they are unaffected by his Mass Hypnosis and are able to retain their free will, and are now in with Aladdin and Alibaba's mission to stop Sinbad from committing genocide.
  • Chapter 349 has Alibaba scamming Sinbad and having him play into his hand.
  • Chapter 363: Everything about Kouen and Hakuei's return.
  • Chapter 369: Alibaba and Morgiana finally get married and the artist went all out on her wedding dress. It looks like something right out of A Bride's Story.
