Season 1
Pilot
- Even though Nicky was able to fight Zhilan to a standstill, she was eventually wounded in the fight.
- When Nicky came back to San Francisco, she began to use her fighting skills against a local triad group operating in Chinatown.
Silence
- Nicky is able to help Ronda and her mother get out of an abusive relationship by threatening Derek that she'll go after him after following him to an illegal gambling joint and disarming the guards sent to throw her out, which scared everyone inside.
Patience
- Professor Chau is captured and tortured by Zhilan but he refuses to break because he knows that either way he'll be killed. Instead, he deduces who she is and demands a cup of coffee.
- Nicky punching a hole in the door to escape after she has been trapped by the Villain of the Week.
- Nicky tricking the villain into confessing that he was poisoning one of his employees to silence her union complaints against his company.
Sanctuary
- Nicky and her family, including her mother, pull an I Am Spartacus to keep Joe from getting arrested. Then Althea finds a video of Joe calling for nonviolent protest, ruining the cops' case for incitement.
Destiny
- After an episode with little action, the fight between Nicky, Henry, and the thieves is just a lot of fun. It's a little different from previous fights since they're up against people who aren't really fighters, but as Nicky and Henry have to dodge glasses, plates, and a priceless vase being thrown at them, it makes the fight interesting and awesome.
Attachment
- After spending his time looking like a self-absorbed and selfish pop star, Simon Lau appears to give up his mystical weapon to Zhilan. She opens the case to find...a guitar. Spinning, she sees Simon using the weapon against her to reveal he's been training since he was five years old. While she ends up killing him in the end, Simon holds his own much better than Zhilan expected.
Transformation
- The Shen siblings are able to get the cops to arrest Zhilan's men staking out their home by communicating in code over the phone all while Zhilan is listening. After a season of always being one step ahead, Zhilan is completely beaten and helpless. She's only saved by pure luck when Russell Tan's men show up looking for her.
Season 2
Year of the Tiger, Part 1
- Nicky chases down a trio of thieves who robbed a store and defeats two. Rather than fight the third, she intimidates him into giving back the money and apologizing just through her reputation.
- After being in danger of shutting down at the end of season 1, we see Harmony Dumplings has not only survived but recovered and is so busy they are overwhelmed.
- Nicky, Henry, and Evan fight off a group of armed mercenaries at the cabin. Nicky even successfully defeats Sasha, armed with a pistol, using nothing but martial arts and redirecting the gun.
- Evan stops the mercenaries' car with a well-aimed rifle shot.
Year Of the Tiger Part 2
- Zhilan taking out the hit squad sent to kill her in prison with stunning ease, all to "Dies Irae."
Reunion
- Althea's former boss, Chase, decides to sic some of his goons on the Shens after being told off by Althea and punched by Dennis. Sebastian then proceeds to completely wipe the floor with both them. Helps give some form of come-uppance to Althea's former boss in an otherwise depressing scene.
Season 3
Harmony
- Despite the damage done by Tracy to Harmony Dumplings, the Shens and the restaurant crew banded together to work in restoring the place in time for opening night.
Harvest
- Pei-Ling defeating Xiao in their Battle in the Center of the Mind by trapping her in a cage just like the one she died in.Pei-Ling: My mind, my rules.
