Awesome / Halloween Kills

• Michael walking out of Laurie's flaming house wielding a Halligan bar like a demon from Hell. Then, he proceeds to brutally murder the firefighters like a savage, stabbing them with the Halligan and at one point, redirecting a buzzsaw into a guy's face! Michael's pissed and he's done with sneaking around.
  • They all fail miserably, but all of the firefighters get a Dying Moment of Awesome for trying to attack Michael, especially the one who tried killing Michael with the aforementioned buzzsaw.
• The fact that the citizens of Haddonfield are uniting to try and defeat Michael. The movie includes scenes of what looks to be the entire population gathered in the streets chanting Laurie's words:
  Evil dies tonight! Evil dies tonight!
• Allyson attacks Michael after he attacks Cameron, only to get disarmed and forced on her knees with a knife to her throat; her response to the Shape?
  "Do it...Do it! DO IT!"
  • Turns out, the third time, Allyson was actually shouting that at her mother, who proceeds to stab Michael in the back with a pitchfork, before hitting him several times while he's on the floor.
  • Allyson also has an impressive moment at the beginning of her fight with Michael. While she first attempts to shoot him with a shotgun, Michael knocks it aside and lunges towards her. Without hesitating for even a second, Allyson draws her knife and begins shanking Michael in the gut. It's arguably the most damage that anyone does to Michael in single combat throughout the film.
• Retroactive one for the previous movie, but it's made clear that Michael only survived the trap because he was rescued by the fire department. Unnatural fortitude aside, he came very close to actually dying, and there was nothing he could do to stop it.
• We finally get to see a version of Michael wearing a burnt mask, something that had only appeared in fan art until this movie.
• Hawkins is still alive, having survived long enough for Cameron to find him and provide basic first aid while calling an ambulance.
• When Tommy hears that Michael is literally outside the bar where he, Lindsay, Karen and Lonnie have been drinking, he doesn't hesitate to grab a baseball bat and be the first one to approach.
• Karen gets Michael's mask off him and lures him away from the Myers residence. As Michael pursues, he finds his mask lying in the street and goes to retrieve it, only for him to be quickly surrounded by Tommy, Brackett, and a lynch mob of thoroughly pissed off Haddonfield citizens. They then proceed to beat the ever loving shit out of him in one of the most satisfying moments of the franchise.
  • Special note to the one guy who, despite being slashed across the hand, unloads his revolver into Michael's chest not unlike Doctor Loomis.
  • It becomes a villainous badass moment for Michael as he's faced with an entire angry mob of people who want him dead and his response is to put on his mask and non-verbally dare the mob to come at him. Even after getting beat within an inch of his life, Michael gets a second wind and butchers the mob to the last. What a badass.
  • Also, just to note, let's add a detail of awesome because this is the first time in any of the sequels that we've seen Brackett finally going after Michael. In the first film, he was mainly with Loomis hunting Michael, but isn't seen after Loomis tells him to circle around the back of the houses after being told about the car being found. In the second film, he keeps Loomis from shooting someone who might be Michael and then is last seen leaving outside of the Wallace house to go home to tell his wife about their daughter's death, and is not seen again after that. This is the first film we see Brackett finally stepping up to get some justice for Annie (though it doesn't end well for him).
• Lindsey's brief little beating on Michael. We see her gathering bricks while Michael attacks the people in the van. First she catches him by complete surprise and whacks him in the head with the bag of bricks then he grabs her and slams her into the van. She manages to escape and hide after nearly removing his mask.
