  • Jade's desperate ploy with the last fragment of the Book of Ages, writing "Bring us all to a safe place" by biting her thumb, even as reality falls apart around her, not only saves her and her family and allies (and enemies), but everyone who was alive or ever was alive' thanks to the Exact Words she used. She saved the entire population of the universe, past or present!
  • Taranee giving an Armor-Piercing Question to Caleb, who believes that Shapeshifters are Always Chaotic Evil, asking him if he's even met any besides Cedric or Miranda.
  • Jade's first real use of her shapeshifter powers has her hurting Cedric enough that he decides to take Wong and flee rather than fight any longer.
  • Tarakudo's Xanatos Gambit with the Hana Fuda cards. To keep Will and Jade from realizing that he doesn't mind who ends up with the Oni masks in the end, as long as they all end up in the same place to break the seal, Tarakudo shoves Oni masks on Jackie and Viper as a distraction so he has time to steal the cards, creating a scenario where he benefits no matter what the outcome. Even if he fails to get the cards, Will and Jade's suspicions are averted, with any casualties on the side of the heroes from the fight simply being a bonus, and if he does get the cards, which he ends up doing, it severely hampers the efforts of the heroes to stop him.
  • Alchemy's "The Reason You Suck" Speech calling Elyon out on her selfishness, complete with an Armor-Piercing Response regarding why the people Phobos was having her help needed help at all.
  • Uncle one-upping Ikazuki in their duel, using a technique that safely redirects any damage that should affect him.
  • Drago quickly proves himself to be a dangerous threat; as it turns out, he could have escaped his cell at any time, he just needed a way to distract the guards. He also spent his time imprisoned pumping Cavigor's foundations full of his magic so he could collapse it once he got out.
  • Jade pulling a Brandishment Bluff with her Blood Magic, tricking the surrendering nobles into consuming it so that she can manipulate their blood to cause them pain, but making them believe that she has a lot more range with it than she actually does, so that it can be used to keep them in line, since Elyon could use their help keeping Meridian stable after she takes the throne. Galiene, attributing this plan to Will alone, vows to make certain that history remembers her name, if just as a warning for any who would challenge Kandrakar's might.
  • Viper pointing out that, since Elyon didn't willingly relinquish the Heart's power to Phobos, even if he found a loophole due to their shared bloodline, that technically the Heart is still hers.
  • Irma's response to Phobos' A God Am I spiel after he takes the Heart of Meridian. Also a Funny moment.
Irma: Could you shut up with the stereotypical evil overlord talk already?! We get it, you're powerful, you're insane! Christ...
  • Roberta is pursuing Jade and Caleb through the castle. To stop her, Jade conjures a chi spear and shoots it into the sky, where it splinters into dozens more, which then fall on Roberta. While not enough to take her out of commission, it keeps her busy long enough for the pair to get away. This is especially impressive since it was her first time using that spell.
  • Phobos grabs Will by the neck, gloating about the Guardians' weakness. Will responds by jabbing a thumb into his eye and kicking him in the crotch, followed by Irma and Hay Lin combining powers to throw an iceberg at him, and then Cornelia pulls up a chunk of the ground big enough to carry two houses (which Taranee sets on fire) and tosses that at him too.
    • Not to be outdone, Phobos drags a meteor out of space and drops it on the city. The Guardians manage to break it up somewhat, but pieces of it still hit the city.
    • Uncle using the same technique he used against Ikazuki to No-Sell Phobos' attacks against him before hitting the Prince with a Megaton Punch that actually manages to seriously injure Phobos (though it fails to take him out of commission).
  • The No-Holds-Barred Beatdown that the heroes deliver onto Phobos for killing Uncle. Highlights include:
    • Jade slashing his face, utterly wrecking it.
    • Jackie striking Phobos with a Heart Jab that causes crippling pain, and which later kills him.
    • Tohru pounding on Phobos hard enough to crack the ground underneath him.
    • Viper breaking Phobos' arm.
    • The Guardians, despite being severely weakened by the earlier fighting, managing to match Phobos blow for blow until the Berserker-possessed Caleb shows up.
    • Finally, Elyon arrives and takes the Heart back from Phobos.
  • Captain Black and Agent Tag figuring out that Section 13 has been compromised and that Harold and Falkner aren't who they claim to be, and start a secret investigation into them.
  • Before his exile, Jonathan Ludmoore sees that the methods that Meridian uses to fight disease were inadequate against the White Death, and goes to the Queen herself for permission to create a new order that successfully revolutionizes their world's medical practices.
