"It's okay now, Crafty... Why? Because I am here."

Moments pages are Spoilers Off. You Have Been Warned.

    open/close all folders

     Season 1
Gaming Month
  • With time suddenly running short in "Squids or Kids," Crafty and Nurse start a Turf War, which features most of the characters seen up to that point in a zany, fast-paced fight scene.

     Season 2
Season 2 Premiere Month
  • In "Pros and Comms," Crafty is briefly put out of commission, and Junkenstein decides to try and take his place. So Nurse punches him out.
  • "Aqua Marina" follows up the Turf War from "Squids or Kids" with one of its own. It's even more chaotic and exciting than the last, all thanks to an additional set of participants.
Fighting Month
  • Crafty takes down the various entries in "Fighting Game Characters" with some impressively quick thinking. He even delivers a decisive uppercut to Disgustilda at the end. While Disgustilda isn't the greatest fighter in the world, she's certainly large and heavy, while Crafty is rail thin. Yet when he punches her, he hits hard enough to send her flying through the castle roof! It seems even without Class 1-A's help in the future, Crafty has quite a bit of fight in him.

Yu-Gi-Oh Month

  • "The Foreshadow Game."
    • The present-day Sasha is introduced in-person for the first time when the Crafty Crew is captured. She jumps to their rescue, and to free them, she must beat Yami Bakura himself in a Yu-Gi-Oh duel.
    • Right before Crafty initiates his final attack, he delivers this magnificent Badass Boast:
      Ring Nurse: This is INSANE!
Crafty: Of course it is! I'm a mad scientist!
    • Massive props should go to Ontarioku, the voice actor for Ring Nurse. His performance is deliciously hammy and oozes with evil, complete with fantastic emotional range. According to Crafty on Here There Be Artists, Ontarioku's performance is so on point, that many fans assumed it was Ted Lewis himself playing the role.
    • Allison Seils also brings out her A-game as Sasha. She really puts her all into her lines, with just as wide an emotional range as Ontarioku. She strongly emphasizes the tension of the Shadow Game, and when things start falling apart, what follows is an incredibly authentic breakdown.
    • When Sasha drops in with the crew in the final part, Crafty almost lets his bitter feelings for her cloud his judgment, dryly recalling her abandonment of him while she's at her lowest point. The awesome part is when Nurse interjects with a sharp "''CRAFTY!'" And afterward, she gains control of the conversation to urge Crafty to try out his plan to save them.
    • The finale's writers deserve some praise; they carefully constructed the duel so that it was completely accurate to Yu-Gi-Oh's rules. Even the final turn, which introduces an original card that provides an Instant-Win Condition, harkens back to the Yu-Gi-Oh anime's tendency for such a plot beat.

     Season 3
Season 3 Premiere Month
  • "Crafty Hearts Re:Grouped"
    • During Crafty and Sasha's meeting in Crafty's dream, they get into an argument regarding their relationship. When Crafty ends up crossing the line, Sasha snaps at him to stop, calm down, and listen to what she's been trying to say. What follows is a speech in which Sasha calls Crafty out for discounting and refusing to understand her feelings on the matter, and she also tries getting him to see how much he's grown sense they last met. It resonates with Crafty throughout the season, if not the entire series thereafter, as he noticeably makes a vested effort to improve himself going forward.
Crafty: ... So... not gonna say anything like always?
[Sasha looks away, ashamed. Crafty finally turns to look at her.]
Crafty: Fine. I’ll talk, then. It’s always been the same thing, every single night for fifteen friggin’ years. We both sit here, not saying a word to one another. Then all of the sudden, you show up in my life again years later! And even then, here we are again. I guess some things never change, right?
      Sasha: ... Colin... I—
Crafty: Oh, so now you wanna chat, do you?!
Sasha: ... Colin, please! You don’t understand.
Crafty: Of course I don’t understand! You ran off without a word all those years ago, then show up out of the blue and expect me to understand?!
Sasha: Colin, you were in danger. I had to—
Crafty: Ohh, I see! Didn’t want someone else stabbing me in the back like you did, huh?! That’s a deed only you’re qualified to do, is that it?! So glad I understand that!
Sasha: No... It’s... not like that!
Crafty: Oh really now?! Seems all it takes for you to come swooping back into my life is for me to be in mortal peril!
Sasha: Colin, please, listen for once!
Crafty: Maybe I ought to just fall off that cliff again and see if that gets you running back, huh?!
      Sasha: STOP IT!!
[A crack of thunder sounds in the distance, and the shock of both it and Sasha’s outburst knocks Crafty flat on his back. Thankfully, he’s still on the boat. Sasha, meanwhile, has lost her composure.]
Sasha: This! This is why I had to leave! Because I couldn’t stop what you were doing to yourself! You almost threw your life away that day we met. And I saved you that day when no one else would. There were so many wonderful times after that. Knowing you... Being with you... Falling in love with you. All these... All these wonderful feelings and emotions I’ve never experienced before. But then... I could see what was slowly happening to you, the things you were doing to yourself. You were going to throw your life again, I wouldn’t be able to save you this time – because, it was going to be my fault...
[Sasha takes a moment to choke back tears.]
Sasha: ...If I had stayed, you’d be making another stupid mistake! I was scared, Colin. In the near-infinite numbers of years I existed, I’ve... I’d never experienced fear. I didn’t know how to save you from yourself, so... I did the only thing I felt I could: I ran. I ran and did everything in my power not to turn back, no matter how much my heart was screaming at me that I should stay. And every day since, I wallowed in regret and heartache because of how much I still adore you.
[The camera pans over to Crafty, taking in every word Sasha is saying and clearly feeling regret over snapping earlier.]
Sasha: But... look at you. You’ve grown so much. Every time I see your show, seeing you create what you have... I feel a warmth in my heart knowing you’ve become a stronger person, with friends who support you... love you... Even if it meant being without me, I don’t think I can ever be forgiven for what I did. So if you can’t, I understand. I never wanted to hurt you. But I’m so, so sorry for the scars I left on your precious heart. But... if you find it in your broken heart to forgive the terrible things I’ve done to you, I swear that I will never let another wound like that ever be inflicted on you – not from me, or anyone else!
[Sasha pauses to let her words sink into Crafty.]
Sasha: ...The sun’s coming up soon.
      Crafty: Huh?
Sasha: So, wake up. Have a good life. And... and maybe... think of me... if you want. I’m always going to be thinking of you.
      Crafty: Wait, Sasha!
Sasha: [whispering] And Colin...? I love you...
      Crafty: SASHAAAAA!!
    • Through an unexpectedly insightful speech, Messi warns Nurse against her feelings for Crafty, knowing that she's still pining for him even after he established his love for Sasha back in "The Foreshadow Game." Nurse clarifies that she simply wants to help Crafty as his friend, but one look at her body language says she knows Messi has a point. After Messi spent much of Season 2 nearly consumed by her lust, it's great to see another side of her be shown, especially since it quickly becomes a defining part of her character as the series continues.
[As Nurse slowly makes her way towards Crafty’s bedroom, she passes by an annoyed Messibelle, who suddenly speaks up. Messi’s uncharacteristically quiet.]
Messi: You can’t keep doing this, Nurse.
Nurse: As a Nurse, I need to ensure Crafty’s in good health.
Messi: That’s not what I’m talking about, and you know it.
      Nurse: I... I-I don't know what you’re referring to.
Messi: Come off it, already! Almost everyone here except the Doc knows that you have feelings for him. And now you find out he’s got some girlfriend that none of us ever knew about! And yet, look at you; you’ve been checking up on him every day, knowing full well that he has feelings for someone else! Doesn’t it... hurt you? Don’t you, out of all of us, feel lied and betrayed to?
[Nurse’s gaze shifts away from Messi’s.]
Messi: Shouldn’t you have given up on chasing him? If you keep doing this to yourself, it’s only gonna end in misery for you. You know that... don’t you?
Nurse: Of course I do. But... What kind of friend would I be if I just... abandoned him? Right?
[Without another word, Nurse continues on. Messi doesn’t do anything but look on in sadness.]
Valentines Month
  • "This is Crack(ship)"
    • For this episode, the Crafty Crew is shipped with other people's OC's. Pepper is paired with a tiny ninja named Gecko, who drops by the lab to check the progress of his piece. The piece shows Gecko jumping into Pepper's breasts face-first, and the moment he notices the real Pepper on-screen, the real Gecko lunges for Pepper to do just that. Suddenly, rocketing in from off-screen, Nurse sucker punches him out of the room.
Nurse: Crafty Concoctions are not consent!
    • In the flashback, Sasha comes up with a slick, spur-of-the-moment cover story to explain to Crafty's parents how she and Crafty met. She delivers it with such conviction that Crafty's parents buy it immediately.
  • "Couples"
    • Crafty prefaces the Joker and Harley Quinn entry with a disclaimer about abusive relationships. He makes it abundantly clear that he doesn't condone them, that if the viewers find themselves in one, they need to seek help as soon as possible. He fumbles a bit trying to get back to discussing the main topic, and the audience knocks him unconscious for it, but Messi gladly fills in for him until he comes to. The two hosts not only add nuance to the list, but they handled the heavy subject matter tied to the couple with admirable maturity.
Crafty: Okay. Let me make one thing perfectly clear: I do not condone abusive relationships at. All. My putting this pairing on this list should not be taken to mean that I support the dynamic on display, here. If you find yourself in a situation like our number nine pick here, I highly suggest you call your local abuse hotline... Having said that--!
[The audience boos, and someone tosses a curling stone at Crafty, knocking him out.]
Messi: Ooooookayyy... I think what the Doc was trying to say—that yes, Harley Quinn and the Joker have indeed become an iconic couple, ever since the lady herself, Harley Quinn, was introduced into the animated Batman series. However, their iconography is that of a highly abusive and manipulative relationship by design. I mean, we're talking about a man who drove a psychiatrist crazy with his made-up sob story and turned her into an easily swayed sidekick. And while they're certainly not role models by any stretch, they are a fantastic character study and a cautionary tale to any young girls who are out there who think that the right girl can fix a damaged man for the better.
    • When Belle and the Beast are discussed, Messi offhandedly reveals that she's been taking couples counseling courses between episodes. If there's ever any doubt that she knows what she's talking about, Messi brings up a common criticism levied onto Beauty and the Beast's story: that it glorifies Stockholm Syndrome... and in response, Messi snaps. She goes off-script to rant about how the supposed phenomenon is utter nonsense, especially in the context of the Disney film. It's very apparent that Messi is extremely passionate about what she has learned, and this moment defines just how much she has grown past merely ogling women.
Messi: A lot of people over the years have accused this pairing of romanticizing Stockholm Syndrome, wherein a kidnapped victim feels sympathy... for their captor... Those people are f(honk)ing morons. Stockholm Syndrome isn't even a real psychological condition! And if it was, they've got it backwards! Belle doesn't feel sympathy for him, or change her own behaviors for him. The Beast changes for her, and becomes a better human! That's the whole. F(honk)ing. POINT! But nooooo! You guys gotta have your whole hot takes and feel so smart for pointing out logical inconsistencies in a F(HONK)ING FAIRYTALE! Well, goo for you, buddy. How about instead of doing that, you go out and touch a real woman instead of complaining about stories starring a 2D one?!
[Reaching her limit, Messi roars like Godzilla.]

Season 3 Commission Month

  • "Pirates VS Doctors" has an excellent show of bravery from Pepper. After seeing Davy Jones smack Crafty around for the umpteenth time, she finally orders the pirate to leave before she takes him on herself. Apparently, this isn't her first rodeo with pirates, but Jones is far from impressed by her words alone. After Jones mocks her efforts, she throws a jar of dirt at his face, causing him to slowly melt. All the while, Pepper stares daggers at him until he's completely gone, not wanting Crafty to be bullied by him again.
[The final piece is presented on-screen. In the background, Davy Jones can be heard absolutely whaling on Crafty. Pepper arrives and tries her best to ignore the commotion.]
Pepper: [rather forced] The piece is finished... and it looks really great. I'm...
[Pepper winces as Crafty complains about his face getting hurt.]
Pepper: ... Super excited about how it turned out, and... *Sigh*...
[Pepper walks towards the conflict, which has just about wrapped up, with Davy standing before a dazed Crafty.]
Crafty: Eughhhhhh.... My Little Pony is a work of Shakespeare!!
[Crafty collapses, and Davy laughs triumphantly as Pepper storms in from the left.]
Pepper: I can't believe you! We are never getting tea again!
Davy: Ahh, pipe down, lassie. He had it comin'.
    Pepper: N-no, he didn't!
Crafty: [pointing a finger into frame from the floor] Pepper, it's okay! Please don't get yourself into this!
    [Crafty's arm falls back down.]
Pepper: I... I just don't want to sit by while this rude ghost bullies you.
[At this point, Pepper turns her attention to Davy Jones, and she glares harder than she ever has before.]
Pepper: L-L-look. I've dealt with pirates before. And you ruining our episode like this is something I will not tolerate. Uhhh.... S-so you need to leave and never come back!
Davy: Hehahahahaa! Isn't that adorable. And just how do you plan to make me leave, missy?
    Pepper: Like... Like this!
[Pepper presents a dar of dirt.]
    Davy: What? NO!
[Pepper tosses the jar, which breaks against Davy and causes him to slowly collapse. Pepper stares determinedly at him until he finishes speaking.]
Davy: AUGHGHGHG, I'M MELTIN'! MELTIN'! AUGHGGUGHGUGHBBUBUBUBUBHBBBB....!
[With Davy now rendered into mush on the floor, Crafty comes to.]
Crafty: Ugh... I guess that's another spill Messi will have to clean later.
Pepper: *Sigh*... It had to be done.
Crafty: That was so very brave of you, Pepper!
Pepper: I just hate seeing you mistreated like that, especially when you mean well...

Cartoon Month

  • At the end of "Titans! Reboot," Bill Cipher makes good on his promise to get inside Crafty's mind to learn about the Infinium Door. He effortlessly restrains Nurse and leaves Crafty entirely at his mercy... Thankfully, Sasha prevents the situation from getting worse; through her mental link with Crafty, she confronts Bill and kills him in a way that the Pines family never could: by wiping all but memories of his existence from the timeline with the Infinium Sword. From the moment Bill comes face to face with her, his smugness is wiped out completely as he's left struggling to retake control of the situation.
[Bill appears inside Crafty's mind. At first, everything is dark.]
Bill: FI-NAL-LY! Ground control to Major Tom, I have really made the grade; I'm in, baby! Now I just need to find—*GASP*!!
[A blue glow emanates behind Bill. Awestruck, he hovers over to gaze upon its source.]
Bill: This is... This is it! I can't believe it actually exists—THE INFINIUM DOOR!! The gateway to the realm of the old ones, the origin of all things, the epicenter of creation and potential!! This has gotta be what Mindstein is after... And some snot-nosed brat knows where it is?! Well then, time for some interrogation.
[Bill slams face-first into an invisible wall. Horrified, he repeatedly throws his weight against the wall in vain hopes of breaking through.]
Bill: What?! No... Nonononono, CRAFTY, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!
???: I'm not going to let you leave.
    Bill: Huh? Wha?!
[Countless Infinian eyes appear all around Bill and leer at him. Bill apprehensively turns around to face who they all belong to...]
    Sasha: Hello... Bill.
Bill: WHAT THE HECK?! YOU?! WHAT'RE YOU DOING HERE! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD!!
Sasha: I should say the same to you. Someone has the torch...
Bill: Listen here, googly-eyes, I'm under contract to find where that door is, so let me out of this punk kid's head, and maybe I'll only leave minor mental scars on the way OUT!!
Sasha: I can't let you do that.
    Bill: Huh?
Sasha: The one who sent you is after the man I love. If they want to hurt him just to get to me, then I'll stop you myself.
Bill: Like hell you will, you dumb broad! I'm getting outta here and getting that door—myself! Then I'LL be all-powerful—
[Sasha freezes Bill in place with some magic, instantly shutting him up.]
    Bill: W-Why can't I move? WHY CAN'T I—
Sasha: Crafty didn't allow you to enter his mind—I did. After the last time his mind was attacked by Zorc, I left part of myself here to protect him from monsters like you. I won't let you escape, nor will I let you live.
    [Sasha summons a blade.]
Bill: Oh no... That's... THE INFINIUM SWORD!!! THE GOD KILLER!!!!
Sasha: For a godly being, you're so small-minded. This sword doesn't kill gods. A dead god can be revived by the Torch over and over and over. So this isn't going to kill you; it will completely and utterly erase your very existence, never to return in any shape or form, Torch or otherwise.
Bill: Y-YOU CAN'T DO THIS! I WAS BEING SET UP! It's all that witch Mindstein's doing! She's the one who brought me back and forced me into a deal with the Flute! It's not my fault! I was just—
Sasha: Just going to take the door's power for yourself instead.
    Bill: Meep.
    Sasha: Goodbye, Bill.
Bill: N-Nonono, please, wait!! Let's make a deal!
Sasha: By the power of the Infinium Sword, you will be but a vision—a dream. Nothing of you will exist but empty space. You, Bill Cipher, are now but a thought.
[Sasha stabs Bill right through his single eye. When she withdraws the blade, Bill's body erupts into blue flames as his eye fills with blood.]
Bill: GYAAAAAAAGH!!! NOT AGAIN!! DAMN YOU, MINDSTEIIIN!!
[Bill starts mimicking the appearances of different characters that his voice actor has played in the past will gibbering about something in reverse speech. He reaches out towards Sasha.]
    Bill: SAAAASHAAAAAAA!!!!!! AAAAAAAAUGHHHGHGH!!!
[After that spectacular display, Bill finally fades out of existence—for good.]
  • Hilariously, Disgustilda gets help to build a window for Crystelle's closet in "Atop the 4th Door." And she accomplished this without anyone—not even Crystelle—detecting a thing. The window was so well made that Crystelle is shown to have kept it in the next episode.
Disney Month
  • "Magic Kingdom Mania":
    • Mindstein finally makes her move, and she isn't screwing around. After a bit of taunting, she immediately sics Screw on both Nurse and Crafty, the latter being punched so hard that he sails across a third of the globe, leaving Mindstein free to take Nurse captive. With the main two of the Crafty Crew subdued, Mindstein summons her Doc Drohnes and traps the co-hosts in the castle's dungeon. She caps off the takeover with a bastardized Walt Disney quote, just to flex how much she had been paying attention to the Crew:
Mindstein: I hope we all don't lose sight of one thing: It all started... with me.
[Mindstein laughs uproariously as the episode closes...]
    • Messi's the one co-host who successfully defends herself against Mindstein's attack, even if only for a little while. Before she's overwhelmed by the swarm of Doc Drohnes, she manages to swat a couple away with her mop.

Hero Month

  • Spin-Off Special:
  • "I Need a Hero Academia" Part 1
    • After Crafty explains how he arrived on UA property to Class 1-A, Todoroki points out that he lacks crucial information as to why Mindstein attacked in the first place, and acting on such limited knowledge is dangerous. Recognizing Todoroki’s distrust, Crafty responds with a speech where he admits that while he may not deserve their help, his friends need rescuing, and that's all that matters to him. That show of selflessness and devotion manages to not only get Class 1-A to agree to help save the others, they also go as far as to declare him an honorary member of the class.
Todoroki: I have just one question, Dr. Crafty, the most important question that we've yet to have any answer to: why were you attacked? From what you've told us, and the information we've been able to find out, there doesn't seem to be any logical reason for why a villain would attack you. You're asking us to charge into unknown territory to take down a villain we know nothing about. I'm not saying we don't want to help. I'm just wondering if it's wise to, given the circumstances. If there's anything you're not telling us—
Crafty: [eyes cast to the floor] Honestly? I wouldn't blame you if you didn't. I've... never been much of a good person. I'm bitter, narcissistic, egotistical, selfish and cowardly! And a lot of less than pleasant things. But... my friends. Nurse Worse. They've done nothing wrong except stick around with me. I was... powerless to do anything. And somehow, I know this is my fault. So... I'm not asking you to help me. I'm begging you to save them.
[Crafty looks up at the class before him, genuine tears welling in his eyes.]
Crafty: Please...! Just save them...! Save my friends!
      All-Might: Young Crafty... we'll—
Deku: We'll do it! We'll help you save your friends!
Hanto: Yeah, your show's pretty cool!
Yuga: I'll gladly lend my twinkle to your stage~!
Rikido: I wanna get some recipes from that Pepper girl!
Mina: I wanna hug the slime girl!
Mashirao: That Nurse of yours has some fine techniques, too!
Crafty: [with tears flowing] ... Thank you...!
Todoroki: If we're going to do this, there need to be some conditions. We're gonna need to know everything—about you, your castle, any defenses it has that could be used against us, and anything you can tell us about our enemy here: names, powers, anything and everything! We're not gonna run into this fight blind.
Crafty: I'll... I'll give you as much as I can.
[Crafty and Todoroki seal the deal with a handshake.]
      Todoroki: We appreciate the cooperation.
Crafty: I appreciate you not kicking my ass!
[All-Might places a gentle hand on Crafty's shoulder to grab his attention.]
All-Might: All right, now that we're in agreement, you should rest. We have a medic who can help you with your injuries young Bakugo caused...
      Bakugo: [off-screen] F(beep)k off.
All-Might: ... Then, once you're all patched up, we can start your training.
      Crafty: 'Training?'
All-Might: That's right! As of this moment, young Crafty, you are an honorary student of Class 1-A!
Uruaka: Aww, yeah! Do the cheer! Do the cheer!
      Crafty: H-huh?!
[All-Might whispers something into Crafty's ear to clarify what Uruaka meant. Then, Crafty forms a confused, yet triumphant fist.]
      Crafty: Ohhh, um... Plus... Ultra?
Most of Class 1-A: PLUS! ULTRA! PLUS! ULTRA! PLUS! ULTRA! PLUS! ULTRA! PLUS! ULTRA!
[Crafty, though still puzzled, can't help but flash a thankful grin.]
  • "I Need a Hero Academia" Part 2:
    • When Midoriya decides that there's only one way to test Crafty's resolve, he launches himself at right at him, channeling who knows how much of One-for-All into a single, cataclysmic punch... that Crafty effortlessly catches. Up until this point, he'd been tossed around like a ragdoll by the more aggressive members of Class 1-A, but when asked what Nurse meant to him, the gloves come off HARD.
    • Later that night, while explaining to Class 1-A what Nurse means to him, Crafty has a powerful flashback. It reveals that, after a gruesome face-to-face meeting, Crafty saved Nurse Worse's life, completely reassembling and resuscitating her. He accomplished this without any prior medical experience; he had nothing more than a glance at his mother's anatomy books and a makeshift defibrillator fashioned from spare cables. He may be a doofus most of the time, but Crafty truly is quite a smart guy when the chips are down.
    • This interaction is ultimately why the show even exists. Crafty only happened upon Nurse by chance, right before he tried taking his life again. However, the moment he hears Nurse's cries for help, he drops everything he's doing to help her. His suicidal thoughts evaporate completely as he works to repair her. Nurse indirectly saved his life, and for that, Crafty views her as his hero. It's time that he repaid the favor.
  • "I Need a Hero Academia" Part 3:
    • Crafty is forced to turn to Disgustilda for help. When they conclude their arrangements, Disgustilda sends Crafty and Class 1-A off to bed so she can concentrate on making a plan... But she also takes a moment to take a hiding Sasha aside. Despite having the opportunity, Sasha spurned her chance to see Crafty in person. Out of anyone who could do so, it's Disgustilda to call her out on her inaction—and Sasha implicitly admits that she's right. Disgustilda gets further points by allowing Sasha to correct her mistake in an appropriate manner, conceding that now may not be the best time for her and Crafty to physically reunite.
[Crafty and Class 1-A have left Disgustilda's cottage. The next panel focuses on a door behind Disgustilda.]
Disgustilda: You can come out now, poppet.
[Sasha exits Disgustilda's closet, looking very ashamed.]
      Sasha: I'm sorry... I... just couldn't—
[Disgustilda interrupts by pointing a finger at Sasha]
Disgustilda: I ain't happy with this! You're gonna have to face that boy sooner or later!
Sasha: But... I... I was scared that—
Disgustilda: Scared of what?! That you’ll hurt 'im again? Or are you really scared of bein' hurt, if he rejects ya?!
      Sasha: I... no... That's—
Disgustilda: That there boy’s probably scared half to death right now. You think he's hidin', though? Nahhh, mate. He’s runnin' in there, guns blazin'. I’d actually respect 'im a little if I didn’t already hate 'im as bloody much! And you say you love the boy! Well, if you do, you've got a funny way ah showin' it, mate!
[Tears well up in Sasha’s eyes and she starts conceding to Disgustilda’s argument.]
Disgustilda: With what that lad's tryin' to do right now, he'll be lucky if he makes it out alive. If I was you, lass, I'd start havin' a good, long think about what that boy means to you. Now, if you excuse me, I got a strategy to conjure up!
      Sasha: W-WAIT!
      [Disgustilda pauses.]
Sasha: ... L-let me help you... with the battle plan. It's the least I can do to help him.
Disgustilda: I suppose it's for the best. If you went with him right now, it'd just be more drama. Not the time for those kinda theatrics at the moment.
[Disgustilda flashes a thumbs up at Sasha, who looks on with eager anticipation!]
Disgustilda: Alright, Sasha, me girl! Let's get this done!!
      Sasha: R-Right!!
[The two friends set right to work. Judging by her hand gestures, Sasha is already directing Disgustilda with some ideas.]
    • While wrapping up preparations for the attack, Crafty decides to add a finishing touch. He has Iida run him to Minnesota... where, in a very unexpected cameo appearance, Linkara finds they've stolen Neutro to use as a distraction!
  • "I Need a Hero Academia" Part 4:
    • Crafty ends his last drawing session by praising the character arcs of Class 1-A's students. He's very positive about each and every one of them until Bakugo tries intimidating him for praise. After spending the past three days experiencing Bakugo's toxicity firsthand, Crafty refuses to give him what he wants. Instead, Crafty verbally obliterates Bakugo with the mother of all denunciations, slamming his insufferable ego, his overvaluing of glory, and especially his unpleasant attitude. What makes the speech so effective is that it comes from a Crafty who has dedicated all of Season 3 to improving himself; now, he's faced with someone who is too stuck up his own ass to try. Thankfully, by the time Crafty finishes, Bakugo actually shuts up for once and seems to take Crafty's words to heart.
[Bakugo callously tosses Deku aside as he makes his way on-screen.]
Bakugo: All right, Goggles. Let's hear it.
      Crafty: Huh?!
Bakugo: You've been talking all this time about everyone else in my class, and now, you ain't even mentioned my character growth?
[Crafty turns to the viewers, frowning in annoyed disbelief.]
Bakugo: I used to be low on the character polls, but I've shot up and hold the title of first place now! So clearly, I've had the best character growth, right?!
Crafty: Bakugo... You. Are by a huge margin, one of my least favorite characters in the show.
      Bakugo: Yeah that's what I thought—wait, WHAT?!
Crafty: You heard me. You're my least favorite character in the entire class—and second last to the entire cast, beaten only by Endeavor. So yeah, you're even second-place in my most hated characters.
Bakugo: Oh, you better have a damn good explanation before I—
Crafty: Before you what? Have a hissy fit and blow me up like a toddler with dynamite?!
      Bakugo: I'LL KILL YOU!!!!
Crafty: THAT. That right there! That is your problem!
      Bakugo: Huh?!
Crafty: You want to know why you're my least favorite character in spite of your popularity? Fine! Here's my explanation: Yes. In my personal opinion, you've had slight character growth, not nearly enough to justify your reprehensible behavior or your vastly overinflated popularity— but some. By which I mean the only growth I've ever seen you have is that you realize you're not the hot sh[Dolphin Noise]t everyone's been telling you are since you were a kid, just because you've got a quirk! Your 'growth' has only come from being served a fat slice of humble pie by Deku, by All Might, by the League of Villains, and by even your own failures!! That's all fine and dandy and well done for not realizing you're not all you're cracked up to be. But despite all efforts, you're still at square one on your path of becoming a true hero. Why? Because you've completed, and utterly ignored the very core thing that makes a hero in the first place! Your definition of a hero is built entirely around glory, a desire to be the best, and to always win.
[By this point, Bakugo's rage gives way to solemn contemplation.]
Crafty: Let me ask you something, Bakugo. Ever since being accepted into U.A., have you ever—even ONCE—saved another person's life?!
      Bakugo: Uh... I—
Crafty: Have you ever risked your life for someone else's?!
      Bakugo: ... No...
Crafty: I thought so! Every other person in your class has in some way helped someone else: saved the person's life, done the right thing because it's the right thing to do. YOU, on the other hand, are this close to being a villain with your behavior and attitude. Heck, that's why you specifically were targeted by the League of Villains: to be recruited by them. They saw something in you that they thought they could prey upon. And the only reason you didn't is because then you wouldn't be on the winning side, am I right?
      Bakugo: ... Well...
Crafty: Granted, I'd have probably turned them down, too, if I had to listen to Bad Touch Man drivel on about his peaceful society... But you know what? I'm a villain. I've done some questionable things, but at least I'm honest and know what I am!
      Bakugo: ... But...
Crafty: You, though? You're just a power-hungry bully, who got lucky with where he ended up. And that's why you failed the provisional license exam. Oh, but even then, you didn't reflect on why you failed. You just took out your impotent aggression on Deku, who passed his exam because—surprise surprise—he cares about helping and saving people!! This, Bakugo, is why you, in my personal opinion, will never be a true hero until you finally get that through that thick-headed skull of yours!!
[Crafty stops to catch his breath.]
Crafty: ... I need some air.
[Deku takes Crafty's place as he watches him leave. He then turns to Bakugo, who is still taken aback by Crafty's rant.]
Deku: Woah... Kacchan, are you all right?
[Defeated, Bakugo silently returns to his position off-screen. Deku follows behind from a distance.]
      Deku: ... Kacchan...
    • We finally understand why the arc is titled "I Need A Hero Academia". Through a covert messenger bird, Crafty gives the captive Nurse directions to do something upon nightfall. Filled with newfound determination, she patiently waits for when the time comes. The moon finally comes up... and Nurse begins singing an unforgettable song:
Nurse: Where have all the good men gone?
And where are all the Gods?
Where's the streetwise Hercules to fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night, I toss and I turn
And I dream of what I need...
[All the way down in the dungeon, Pepper, Messibelle, and Crystelle begin contributing to the song as the backup singers.]
      Nurse: I NEED A HERO!
[The camera returns to Crafty and Class 1-A, as Nurse continues singing "I Need a Hero" with the cohosts following suit.]
Crafty: That's the signal! Move! MOVE!
    • Partway through the intro, Mindstein picks up on the singing. She looks towards its origin, not with annoyance... but unbridled apprehension. Even she seems to realize her time is coming to an end!
    • Ida carries Crafty, Deku, and Bakugo all on his back and sprints for Nurse's prison. However, a group of Doc Drohnes quickly starts to gain on him. When Ida admits that the weight of his friends is slowing him down, Bakugo thinks to himself for a moment, then launches himself off Ida, intending to let the others go on ahead more quickly while he takes on the robots alone. It's very apparent that Bakugo's choice was in response to Crafty's harsh critique of him earlier in the episode. He sacrifices his chance for a glorious final confrontation so Nurse can be saved in time, and it's magnificent and cathartic to see him take his first step towards being a better person.
Bakugou: [to himself] How's this for a redemption arc?
    • Just when it seems Crafty and Class 1-A might succeed early, Screw handily undoes most of their progress in mere seconds. All it takes is one twist of the screw in her head to boost her strength, and after that, almost all of her opposition is beaten within an inch of their lives and forced to retreat. Only Crafty, Todoroki, and Midoriyah remain before her, and even they have seen better days.
    • There are several remarkable aspects of the scene in which Nurse breaks free of her prison and prepares to take on Screw.
      • Just as Screw closes in on Crafty to finish him off, Todoroki intercepts with his ice powers, freezing Screw in place and urging Crafty to capitalize on this window of opportunity. But Crafty is still very weak from Screw's beating, and realizing that he may not have much time left, he commits to an unexpected decision: he urges Nurse to free herself from her prison, stressing just how important she is for him for what could have been the very last time... Contrary to what he suggests, Crafty's call to action is the least selfish thing that he could have done. His words of encouragement are exactly what Nurse needs to hear after suffering at the hands of her abuser for days on end. Not only does he successfully motivate Nurse to break free, but he also accomplishes what Mindstein could never do: thanks to his love for her, he activates Nurse's latent Infinium Heart powers the legitimate way.
Crafty: NUUUUUURSE!!!! Help me, Nurse! Please... I need you! I never told you, but... The night we met. You saved my life without knowing. Every stupid mistake I've made since... You've been there for me when I would've been alone. I thought I could save you myself. But I have to be selfish and ask you... to save me again. I NEED YOU, NURSE! I NEED MY HERO!!!
[Nurse is visibly touched by Crafty's words... And suddenly, her heart glows brightly from within her chest. Everyone on the scene watches as electrical energy begins overflowing from Nurse's body; even Sasha off in the distance detects that something is going on when her own heart glows in response. The scene cuts over to Mindstein, who slowly begins to panic as she realizes what is about to happen.]
Mindstein: What is this...? No... No! Not again!
[Mindstein hurries over to Nurse in her prison in hopes of containing her, but she's suddenly flung backward when Nurse's energy explodes from within her, breaking her free. Screw watches her sail past...]
        Screw: Master!
[Before Screw can even move, Nurse sprints towards her, launching and embedding Screw into a nearby wall with a brutal, electrified punch to the face.]
        Screw: [utterly cowed] ... What?
[Nurse stands triumphantly in the center of the lab before Mindstein, her limbs still producing energy as everyone takes in all that has happened.]
      • With Nurse now freed from her confinements and overflowing with Infinium energy, Mindstein is overjoyed: her daughter has now achieved the first taste of the godly power that she has in store for her. She urges Nurse to join her side... But rather than address Mindstein directly, Nurse simply approaches Crafty and assures him that she's here to help, cementing where she stands in this conflict. It's quietly one of the most powerful moments in the series; even with this newfound strength, Nurse is still utterly terrified of her mother. That she manages to muster up the courage to defy her in any capacity is huge.
[Mindstein eyes the powered-up Nurse in disbelief, then smirks. Electricity bursts forth from her body as she laughs triumphantly.]
Mindstein: AHAHAHA, YES, GRETAAA!! That's it! VERY good! Do you see it now, Greta?! Can you FEEL it?! This is the beginning of a new stage of creation!! With my genius and blood in your veins, you'll surpass me... You'll live up to the reason I CREATED YOU!!
[Nurse remains silent. She can't bring herself to look Mindstein in the eyes... Instead, much to Mindstein's dismay, Nurse walks over to Crafty, squatting down to gently clasp his face and look him in the eyes instead.]
Nurse: It's okay now, Crafty. Why? Because I am here.
      • Mindstein orders Screw to take on Nurse, giving the latter a chance to show off just what her Heart allows her to do. The resulting high-octane fight is quite a sight, being one of the few scenes in the entire series to use full-blown animation at certain moments. Mindstein openly doubts that Nurse will succeed, leading Nurse to declare why she refuses to back down as she takes on her younger sister. All throughout the fight thereafter, Nurse indirectly dresses down her mother through her conversation with Screw, her words hitting harder with each blow. And to finish things off, Nurse serves some poetic justice by sending Screw flying out of the castle—much like Screw had done to Crafty back in "Magic Kingdom Mania." And as if that wasn't enough, it's also at this point when Crafty realizes that the girl who once helped him through his breakup with Sasha and Nurse are one in the same, causing his appreciation of her to reach its peak.
[Nurse and Screw continuously exchange rapid-fire punches, during which Nurse begins an impassioned speech.]
Nurse: [Mindstein] said you were made to be stronger than I was when she created me. That means you only know how powerful I was back then...
[Nurse quickly starts gaining the upper hand, with three particularly strong blows pushing Screw back. Screw, however, manages to sneak in a critical blow on Nurse's face, knocking off her glasses... but this doesn't perturb Nurse one bit.]
Nurse: You have no idea how much stronger I've become ever since Crafty took me in. And it's finally time I showed you! Showed everyone! Showed him! Just how STRONG I really am!
[For once, Screw looks utterly terrified by the strength and resolved being demonstrated on her. The scene then cuts to Crafty, who is starting to realize something...]
Crafty: [internally] She's fighting so hard, pushing over her limits. Is this how strongly she feels for me? No one's ever been there for me like this since... No... Wait!
[Crafty briefly flashes back to the kind-hearted girl who helped him after his breakup...]
Crafty: [internally] Was Nurse... That girl?
[The scene returns to Nurse and Screw's fight, where Nurse readies a particularly powerful fist.]
        Nurse: HYAAAAAAAA!!!!
[The electrified blow lands successfully and explosively, sending Screw tumbling away into the air, covered in sparks. A brief cut to an on-looking Mindstein shows her growing intensely agitated by Screw losing her ground.]
Nurse: I made a promise to protect Crafty no matter what!
[Screw regains her footing, but she's only set herself up to be thrown skyward by Nurse's uppercut. Nurse then follows up by jumping up, grabbing Screw by the leg, and tossing her so hard into the stone floor that she bounces! And as Screw rebounds, Nurse lands beside her to deliver some parting words.]
Nurse: Here's a tip: Never hurt me or my friends again. And never... EVER... touch my Crafty AGAIN! PLUUUUSSS! ULTRAAAAAAA!!!!
[Nurse lands one final punch to Screw's gut, sending her sailing outside. The scene suddenly cuts to the dungeon below, where the spin-off Crewmates and their rescue team can feel the impact of the action upstairs.]
        Pepper: What's happening now?!
        Messi: Everything's shaking!
[Outside, the Class 1-A students who retreated earlier watch Screw disappear into the night with a twinkle in the sky.]
Kirishima: Did that really just fly by... Or am I going crazy?
        Sero: Wow... Deja Vu.
Ochako: [shedding tears of joy] They did it!
[The scene returns to the castle, with Deku and Todoroki also witnessing Screw's forced departure.]
Deku: Amazing... She took that girl out for us!
Todoroki: That just leaves Mindstein left.
[Exhausted from her last punch, Nurse hunches over, breathing heavily.]
Nurse: Crafty... I remember everything now.
[Nurse stands tall as the smoke around her clears.]
Nurse: [confidently] ... I am Greta Franzisca Wunderwurse! I told you I'd check up on you, didn't I? Heheh...
[Realizing that his suspicions were correct, Crafty begins to cry, and he can only whimper happily in response.]
    • The final standoff between Crafty and Mindstein is a magnificently effective climax for Season 3.
      • Major props must go to Messibelle during the final battle—she's the reason Mindstein was defeated at all. As the battle above her prison progresses, Messi realizes that she and the others down there have to contribute somehow. In an unexpected stroke of brilliance, she rallies Kyoko Jiro and Pepper (who turns out to be part-whale and thus can use echolocation) to use their abilities to locate Mindstein's exact position in the castle. After they find her, Messi stretches her arms all the way up through the castle's piping into the room where Mindstein resides, restraining her, with her fellow spin-off Crewmates and Sasha all encouraging Crafty to land the finishing blow.
Mindstein: [after Crafty successfully parried one of her attacks] Your tenacity is admirable... But your resistance is foolish.
[Mindstein electrifies her hand and prepares to disembowel Crafty.]
Mindstein: I WILL have that heart!
[Suddenly, from some exposed piping in the room, Messi's hands stretch out and restrain Mindstein by her wrists.]
        Mindstein: *Gasp* What's THIS now?!
[The scene cuts to the dungeon, where Messi and her companions are enacting their plan to help Crafty.]
        Kyoko: You got her, Messi!
Messi: 'Course I do! Couldn't have done it without your directions!
Kyoko: Would've been hard to do if not for Pepper's sonar giving my quirk an extended reach.
Pepper: Being part-whale helps, it seems!
Messi: We've got her pinned down, Crafty! Finish her off!!
        Pepper: Wrap this up, Doctor!
        Crystelle: You can do it!
[The scene returns to Crafty; Sasha's eye in his forehead glares in determination.]
Sasha: [From within Crafty's Mind] Colin! Now's your chance!
      • With Mindstein now primed in front of him thanks to Messi, Crafty begins readying his final attack. The scene consists of pure, unadulterated anime convention, but it elevates the themes of Season 3 and Dr. Crafty so far with gusto. Everything from Sasha's Call-Back to her speech back in "Crafty Hearts Re:Grouped," to the sheer passion in Crafty's voice as he unleashes hell, to the sheer pants-shitting terror that the helpless Mindstein experiences all make for an absolutely exquisite end to the special. Crafty finally gets his friends and home back, and he gets to avenge Nurse and everyone else abused by his greatest foe yet.
Crafty: Sorry, Mindstein! But my heart belongs to someone else!
[As Crafty readies a fist, an imagine sequence plays out depicting Sasha speaking to him.]
Sasha: Colin... I don't know how I gave you this power. But you have friends to protect with it now. Friends that support you... love you... Now let my power be yours! I'll hold you together as best I can! So give her your all, Colin! Your One for All!!
[Sasha reaches out for Crafty's hand, imparting it with divine energy, just as Crafty's borrowed One for All quirk does the same. The scene returns to the present moment, where a horrified Mindstein has freed a now electrified hand and futilely tries defending herself with it. Crafty boosts forward...]
Crafty: HURRRAAAAAAHHH!!!! THIS IS FOR CLASS 1-A!
[Crafty stomps the floor so hard that it shatters beneath his foot...]
Crafty: THIS IS FOR NURSE WORSE!
[Crafty's body overflows with One for All's energy...]
        Crafty: AND THIS...!!
[Crafty's punch lands, shattering the glass dome containing Mindstein's brain. But Crafty's attack isn't finished...]
        Crafty: UNITED! KINGDOM OF! SMAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!!!!!!
[With all the force that he can muster, Crafty redirects his punch and spikes Mindstein into the floor. The explosive impact of the punch disturbs the foundation of the castle's tower with gusts of energy billowing out of it for several seconds. Everyone holds on for dear life as they watch from a safe distance. Outside, it seems Disgustilda is struggling the most.]
Disgustilda: [with only one foot settled on the ground] Bloody heck!!
[The scene, after scanning the tower from the outside, returns to Crafty.]
Crafty: [in his head] This... is for me.
[Everything falls silent as everyone—even Sasha, who watches from afar—stares at the aftermath of Crafty's attack. A crater sits before him, with Mindstein lying dead in its center. A few seconds later, Crafty slowly raises an arm above him... Then, he clenches it into a fist as the Dr. Crafty theme plays triumphantly. Class 1-A erupts into loud, passionate cheering as Nurse silently admires her hero. The scene abruptly cuts to Sasha, who's instinctively running towards the castle, concerned for Crafty's safety.]
        Sasha: Colin!
[Before she can go further, Disgustilda places a gentle hand on her shoulder.]
Disgustilda: This wasn't a fight for you, love. This was a fight for his friends. Let 'im have this victory.
        Sasha: Yeah... He's earned this...
    • Right as everyone starts celebrating their victory, Mindstein manages to pull the rug out from under them with one last trick: the Mindstein that Crafty fought reveals itself to be a clone. It produces a holographic projection of the real Mindstein, who has been safely observing the events of "I Need a Hero Academia" from within her lair. She makes it unambiguously clear that next time, she's not holding back, and she lets loose a parting Evil Laugh as her clone self-destructs. However, through her smugness, there is one thing that she forgets about: as Mindstein delivers her message, Nurse's visible panic slowly evolves into determined, righteous anger. Having been put through hell and discovering just what she's capable of, it seems that Nurse is slowly conquering her trauma. Whatever comes next, she's clearly more ready for her mother than ever before.

  • In "Here We Go," Crafty bashes his head against a ?-block that suddenly appears in the lab; it produces a Super Crown, which he decides to use to cover up his head wound. When he puts it on, a rather beautiful Sailor Moon-style Transformation Sequence plays, with Crafty slowly becoming Craftette. When the sequence is complete, Craftette strikes a dramatic pose before a Crafty emblem surrounded by roses. At first, she's not thrilled when she realizes what the crown has done to her, and becomes even more irritated when an absolutely smitten Nurse snaps a picture of her... But after a Bowser attack restores her back to Crafty, he changes his tune when the picture instantly trends on Twitter.
Crafty: Oh, thank goodness! That Bowser attack restored me to my normal form!
Nurse: I suppose it's okay! I still got the picture, though~!
[Nurse proudly holds out her cellphone.]
    Crafty: Delete that this instant!
Nurse: And posting it to Twitter~!
    Crafty: NURSE! HOW COULD YOU?!
Nurse: Oh, hey, look! You're already trending!
Crafty: WHY WOULD YOU DO—wait, I'm trending?
    Nurse: Yep! Hashtag-Craftette!
    [Crafty presents the Super Crown]
Crafty: Well! If you can't beat them—
[Crafty dons the crown and becomes Craftette again.]
    Craftette: Join 'em~!
    Nurse: Oooo-huhuhu~!
    [Nurse faints.]

     Season 4
Season 4 Premiere Month
  • "We're Back! A Crafty Story"
    • When the episode concludes, the scene transitions to Dr. Mindstein's lair. She's just finished surveying the Crafty Crew and is left to contemplate her observations... that is, until she receives an unexpected message:
[As Mindstein exits her office, her main screen suddenly fills with noise. A voice sounds from the footage.]
Crafty: Oh, I almost forgot... There's one viewer, in particular, we have a little message for.
[Mindstein glares at the screen as an image comes into focus. It's the entire Crafty Crew glaring at her in silhouette!]
Crafty: Hello, Mindstein. Hope our 'biggest fan' is enjoying our season debut.
Nurse: We just wanted to let you know we thought about what you said at the end of last season...
Pepper: How you wanted us to be afraid every night since then...
Messibelle: We decided: screw that! 'Cuz we're not afraid of you!
Crystelle: No matter what surprises you may have planned, we are ready this time.
Crafty: If you want my Nurse so bad...
Nurse: If you want to take his heart...
Crafty and Nurse together: THEN BRING IT ON!
[Outraged, Mindstein chucks a scalpel into the screen. There's a hint of fear in her eyes as she looks on.]
    • What makes Crafty's dare so impactful is that he's addressing the real Mindstein this time. Not only that, he actually struck a nerve in Mindstein, in contrast to how level-headed she claimed to be at the end of the Season 3 finale.
  • "Player Select"
    • The episode kicks off with something special for the occasion: a loving shout-out to Super Street Fighter II Turbo's intro, with Crafty as Ryu, Mindstein as Akuma, and the Crafty Crew's ladies subbing in for everyone else.
    • It appears Mindstein has already set her plans in motion by the end of this episode. In her lair, sitting before a new screen and absorbing every detail from the show, is a robotic clone of Dr. Crafty. The implications of this robot speak for themselves. Had it not been for the Crew's moment of hubris at the end of "We're Back! A Crafty Story," Metal Crafty would've arrived much later into the story. Suffice to say, Mindstein was not happy about her dominance being questioned, yet she took her frustrations in stride and did something productive with them.

Season 4 Commission Month

  • "Old Project, New Look" ends with a preview for what's to come: Mindstein's Crafty robot is ready for action, just in time for the imminent Sonic Month. He introduces himself with a chilling rendition of the real Crafty's catchphrase. Notably, this is the soonest Mindstein has ever been prepared to strike; she truly isn't screwing around this time.
    Metal Crafty: LET'S. GET. CRAFTY...

Sonic Month

  • "Let's. Get. Metal..."
    • Not wanting another incident like the one that lead to "I Need a Hero Academia" to happen again, Crafty installed a security system sometime between Seasons 3 and 4. Just when Metal is about to close in for an attack, Crafty hits a switch that launches a giant boxing glove, which punches Metal out of the room as security doors lock everyone inside their rooms. Metal spends a good ten minutes trying to tear through the lab's door, giving Crafty and Nurse ample time to think up a battle plan.
    • Midway through their art commentary while they stall for time, Crafty suddenly has an idea to interface his Infinium Heart with Nurse's. He realizes that Metal's EMP blast only affected Nurse, and not himself; if the two heart-bearers combined their strength, they might be able to overpower their opponent. And indeed, when Metal finally breaks through their protection, Crafty and Nurse do just that, with their power-boost and ensuing beatdown being set to "Fistbump." As they outmaneuver and wail upon him, Metal Crafty is too paralyzed by confusion to react accordingly. Very soon, the duo's attacks actually have Metal on the ropes. Had it not been for the timely interruption of the void entity teleporting the two protagonists into another dimension, Metal would've been obliterated.
    • The spin-off hosts each have their time to shine in this episode:
      • Messi is the one who leads the spin-off hosts' charge against Metal, tearing open the lab's security door that Metal closed behind him with only her mop, and looking absolutely ready to kick ass when she enters.
      • When the spin-off hosts notice that nobody is around, Crystelle suddenly gets a vision of Crafty and Nurse tumbling towards the black hole. She wastes no time, briefly overtaking the void entity's hold over her to summon a magic portal for Crafty and Nurse to exit from the void.
      • Pepper puts her Octo-Bloat ability to serious use in this episode, using her expanded belly to cushion the impact of Crafty and Nurse falling back into the lab from the void. The collision knocks Pepper out cold, but Nurse and Crafty are physically safe and sound.
      • Crystelle's contribution comes at a cost, as the entity opts to grab her instead, taking away Crystelle's spirit and leaving behind her lifeless crystal ball head. Of all people, it is Stylene who picks up the ball and hurries it to the Qloset, where Crystelle's spirit can regenerate and return to the ball. Come the next episode, "ADnDiction," and Stylene turns out to be successful; Crystelle indeed comes back, and despite the horrific things that she saw in the void, she gets right back to work.
Halloween Month
  • "Don't Drink and Draw"
    • After his last attempt in Season 1 was delayed all the way to December, there's something incredibly awesome about Crafty finally getting to do a proper Halloween Month. He's rightfully excited to begin throughout the month's first episode, whose opening skit even has Banjo-Kazooie's "Mad Monster Mansion" playing in the background, just as it used to for the castle scenes throughout Season 1.
    • Thanks to some production changes behind the scenes, Halloween Month became the final monthly theme of Season 4. In turn, this means that Crafty is finally doing not just any Halloween Month, but the Halloween Month Season Finale that he's always wanted. It makes his excitement all the more justified.

  • This poster showcases Pepper's cooking abilities. She's prepared an electrified dish for Nurse and a shampoo smoothie for Messi—both are enjoying their meals wholeheartedly. Considering she likely served these up without taste-testing them first (for obvious reasons), it's safe to say that Pepper's really damn good at her job.
