Awesome / Batman Vampire

• From Red Rain, when Batman and Dracula are at a standoff, with Batman's chest bleeding and the only thing protecting him a patch of sunlight coming through a drain cover. Batman taunts Dracula by painting a cross on the wall with his own blood.
• Granted that he's psychotic and evil, but you can't deny the Joker's nerve managing to successfully convince a group of Dracula-esque vampires to leave him human while acknowledging him as their leader.
• The final death of Batman at the end of Crimson Mist. After descending into a murderous undead beast in both mind and body, he finally musters up the Heroic Willpower to walk into the sun and burn himself to ash.
• The fact that despite the horrors of the three novels and the deaths of himself along with many of his closest allies, Batman won his war on crime. Within several nights of blood-soaked terror he’s seen to it that everyone capable of threatening the city, including his entire Rogues Gallery, is dead and in the ground alongside him, and the sights and tales of the bloody massacres left in his wake would likely ward off many aspiring criminals to come. By the time everything is said and done, even with all the carnage, even though he’s broken the Thou Shalt Not Kill rule that he held so sacred again and again and again, Gotham is finally starting to see a better tomorrow. And the Batman can finally rest in peace knowing that his work is finished.
