Awesome / Arc Rise Fantasia

  • Given the hard nature of these boss fights, just coming on top of them is enough of an awesome moment as it is relief.
    • Players are likely to feel especially ecstatic at beating one of the many tough optional bosses, especially the three optional Rogress: Mashgar, Kudoan and Allul.
    • The battle against Alf, Adele, and Leslie over who gets to bond with Rafunga is one of the hardest in the game and one where the player is expected to lose. But, with proper preparation and a little luck, it's possible to win. The rewards are well worth it with Rafunga being an excellent Rogress at that point, a rare and valuable accessory, and skipping one of the three Rogress dungeons later in the game. On top of it all, winning that battle is one of the most cathartic moments a player can have in the game.
  • Anytime your character learns a new Excel Act. Especially one that does Area of Effect damage and kill all enemies in one shot.
    • Special Mention goes to Niko: His first two Excel Acts consisted of a Single Target attack and a self-full heal. All the sudden he gets Niko Cannon and literally blows the enemy to smithereens!
      • It gets even better when he learns Trickster.
  • Each of the Rogress gets a Badass Boast upon being summoned, but Absin's tops them all.
Absin: Witness the Logos of Judgment...and judge you I will!
  • A small one for Ryfia: Early in the game when the party is speaking with Prince Wiess, Ryfia talks back to him, and he responds by throwing a dagger that barely misses her head. She doesn't even blink.
Weiss: Either you were too slow to react or you've got guts.
  • Shelly's return to the Senate after she'd nearly been assassinated and believed to be dead, starting with throwing Avlice in prison to declaring war on the Church. Lady knows how to make a re-entrance, that's for sure.
    • And, during the time she was MIA, she was suffering from Laser-Guided Amnesia but still managed to organize and take control of a worldwide Resistance against the empire!
  • Whenever there's a portrait cut-in of a single character or group when unleashing Synchronization, a special Excel Act, or especially a Trinity Act as the character(s) involved perfectly encapsulate Let's Get Dangerous! before the actual attack. It's even awesome when an enemy party does the same against the heroes, despite the pain they're about to receive.
  • Alf has a small one should his team defeat the party during the fight for Rafunga. Adele tells Alf to finish L'Arc off, but he shuts her down and tells her the Rogress come first. Despite him being an enemy at the time, it's great to see that he's started to grow a spine when it comes to Adele.
  • Alf and L'Arc sum up the catharsis that comes from defeating Ignacy. Even more so if Serge and Rastan are also in the party.
    Alf: Meet your maker!
L'Arc: For Gramps, Adele, and my father!
