Jenitba is an animated short film (quite short, 5 minutes) from Bulgaria directed by Slav Bakalov and Rumen Petrov. It is sometimes referred to as "Marriage" (the English translation of the title) or "Mariage" (the French translation under which this short won the Palme d'Or.

A man is seen snoring loudly in his bed. He is woken by his friends who dress him up, putting a tie on him and putting a flower in his hat. It soon becomes clear that the man is getting married. Before and after the ceremony, the man, who is focusing on the "get regular sex" part of marriage, has a series of daydreams filled with overtly erotic imagery.

Tropes:

  • All Just a Dream: The most likely interpretation of the ending. The reception is over, the man and the woman have gone home, and she is lying on the bed dressed only in a slip. Her breasts then crazily inflate, and explode. Cut to the man, holding the ruptured remains of a rubber hot water bed warmer. He tosses it aside and goes back to sleep.
  • Bait-and-Switch: A man is snoring loudly in his bed. Three other villagers emerge from their apartments, knives in hand. Are they about to murder the man, to shut him up? No, we soon see that they are hunting wild boar (for the wedding reception as it turns out).
  • Boob-Based Gag: The music of the singers and the band at the wedding reception cause the table to shake, which causes the bride's breasts to bounce crazily. This is reflective of how desperately horny the man is.
  • Deranged Animation: Crazily unpredictable animation all as part of a Visual Innuendo sexual theme. There's a choir of women singing at the man's wedding, and whenever they draw breath, their breasts hugely inflate.
  • Extremely Short Timespan: A single day, as a man wakes up, goes to his wedding, and comes home.
  • Limited Animation: Crudely drawn pictures against a plain white background, with a limited color palette. This is less true of the man's erotic fantasies which are more intricately drawn.
  • Line Boil: Seen throughout, as would be expected in a Limited Animation hand-drawn cartoon short.
  • Silence Is Golden: No dialogue in the cartoon, only singing and music.
  • Visual Innuendo: All the man's fantasies, reflecting how extremely horny he is and how much he's looking forward to sex with his wife. The sounds of the singers outside become abstract shapes entering the man's ear, which morph into a peach and a key, with the peach splitting open and the key entering the peach's core. Later, a key is shown entering an alarm clock to wind it up, in an extremely suggestive way. Some of these images are subverted: the peach-and-key scene cuts to the man's finger in his ear as he tries to dig out earwax.
