16:An Indecent Proposal

John is incredulous at the offer, but Jane tells him to butt out, and says that $5 million bought her. John protests "What about us?" and Jane dismisses him as "boring," prompting John to complain about he should have realized that she's a slut ever since he saw her "slutty eyes. Jane calls them "sultry eyes" and asks if Thresher agrees, but he says John's right, and she's "easy," and makes his offer less generous- $5 million for a weekend. After complaining that John's best offer would be a soda, Jane demands $7.5 million for a weekend. Thresher threatens to reconsider, but Jane says that she's giving him a $2.5 million discount from the original offer, but it's one that Thresher's unwilling to pay. Jane insists on $7 million, while Thresher says $6 million.

After a title card, it cuts to later that night (although the lighting is reduced, and you can see that it's still daytime; I strongly suspect they shot all the photos on the same day), when Jane and Thresher are still arguing, with Jane's $6.875 million vs. Thresher's $5.75 million, and Jane offers 6.75 million (which is said to be 6 and 6 eighths). After a few shots with poor lighting and no dialogue, John, who's still sticking around, expresses his exasperation with how they're still at it, and Jane tells him to shut up again. After one last offer, Jane's 6.5 million vs. Thresher's 6.25 million, Jane caves in and takes Thresher's offer. John laughs, suggesting that if Thresher can't make payments on his Mercedes, he can't pay $5 million for a prostitute. Jane's offended, and when John accuses her of being one, she calls it business, and a way to feel like a virgin while getting rich. She agrees to Thresher's original offer if he doesn't tell her father about it, only to be faced with silence. She bombards him with questions, demanding to know whether he has the money and whether she's worth $5 million to him.

After a moment of silence, Thresher offers $100, then $1,000 for the whole weekend, a far cry from the millions they discussed earlier. He mentions the bachelor pad from the ending in which Jane gets the job, but says they'll discuss the job over breakfast. John can't believe that Jane's getting together with someone like Thresher, and tries to apologize and confess his love, but his declaration that $5 million is nothing compared to love only causes Jane to knee him in the groin and call him a loser before leaving with Thresher. As they leave, Jane asks how Thresher knew, and Thresher says he saw it in her eyes. Jane asks if she has slutty eyes, and Thresher says that her friend was right (although calling John that is a bit of a stretch). Jane protests that she was born this way, but is glad that she'll be making it with a geek, and asks Thresher if he belongs to the lodge.

Harry sarcastically congratulates the player for making Jane a whore and forcing John into a loveless marriage with Amy to please his mother. He then guilt-trips the player, saying that their choice is living with having ruined two lives, or redoing the decision.
