Episode 3: Adventure

So, what’s the new theme now? Action. Though nothing really changes because we’re are doing the double digits = random events thing, so really, the real change is that the Chaos Factor can’t drop below 5.

Previously... on One More Day Before The Storm...

{Psyga meets up with Ken}

“Shotgun blasts only hurt for a bit, but they always get up... What I’m planning to make will blow them so hard, their souls will hurt.”

{Ken pulling Psyga away from the avalanche}

“My name’s Ken. Self-proclaimed Professor Ken Gorisaki.”

{Psyga running to Malareth and decking him in the face.}

{Ken walking away from the burning cabin}

“I’m looking for a more efficient way of killing zombies that has an endless supply.”

{Ken fires a nuclear blast at the zombies, then saves Psyga}

{They get the Proton Packs}

“On our backs are nuclear accelerators. They speed up the protons in the unit and fire them in a constant stream at the zombies, destroying them molecule by molecule.”

“Let’s go busting...”

One More Day Before The Storm

Episode 3: Adventure

[Scene Roll: 7. Altered Scene]

Psyga and Ken were leaving the mountain, when suddenly, a rumble came up.

“Another avalanche!?” Psyga asked.

[Odds: 50/50. Chaos Factor: 7. Stress: 4. Roll... 69]

A horde of snow soon crept down and engulfed the two.

[Question: Are they hurt from the fall?]

[Odds: 50/50. Chaos Factor: 7. Stress: 4. Roll... 78]

[Question: Are there zombies where they land?]

[Odds: Unlikely. Chaos Factor: 7. Stress: 4. Roll... 8]

The snow soon landed on the ground, where a horde of zombies gathered around the snow, as if aware that people are inside.

[Question: Are the pair unconscious?]

[Odds: 50/50. Chaos Factor: 7. Stress: 4. Roll... 80]

As they gather, they could hear the twin hums of something powering up. Soon, streams of reddish orange beams with blue electricity burst of the snow.

[Fire Weapon Difficulty: 5. Psyga and Ken’s Move Stat: 4 and 3 respectively. Roll... 21 for Psyga. 6 for Ken, and he rolled a 1 on his last dice]

The blast managed to knockback three zombies, though there was a botch on Ken’s part, causing a chain reaction.

[Question: Does it cause a Michael Bay-style explosion?]

[Odds: 50/50. Chaos Factor: 7. Stress: 4. Roll... 50]

[Question: Does the explosion hurt Ken and Psyga?]

[Odds: Likely. Chaos Factor: 7. Stress: 4. Roll... 20]

[Question: Does it hurt or otherwise vaporize the zombies?]

[Odds: Very Likely. Chaos Factor: 7. Stress 4. Roll... 82]

Soon, the snow pile exploded. The zombies were destroyed, but Ken and Psyga were now smoking heaps.

“Ken... You...” Psyga said, but Ken interrupted him.

“No, no... You’re the idiot. I’m the smart one.” Ken said, seemingly unfazed from the explosion.

[Damage Roll: (D20) 12, reducing Psyga’s Brownie Point count to 18, and Ken’s Brownie Point count to 28.]

“Alright now, genius, what now? Now where do we go?” Psyga asked.

“We could go into that town,” Ken pointed to the town just outside. “see if there’s any survivors.”

“I’ve just been in that town before I met you... There’s no one there.” Psyga said.

“Can’t hurt to try and check.” Ken said, walking into town.

“Ken! Wait!” Psyga said, running into the town with Ken.

Chaos Factor:

  • They actually got hurt for the first time, and proton packs going wrong on the first try are always a bad thing. Plus, Psyga is going back to the town Lee died trying to get him out of, so he’s not gonna be happy. So the Chaos Factor goes up as they didn’t really have control.

[Questions: Do zombies ambush them?]

[Odds: Likely. Chaos Factor: 8. Roll... 60]

Ken and Psyga soon run into a horde of zombies.

“Alright, stand back, we don’t want to have a high chance of crossing the streams.” Ken said. The zombies then looked towards Psyga and Ken and slowly marched towards them.

“Ready partner?” Psyga asked.

“Partner? Barely.” Ken said as he pointed the proton beam towards the zombies. Psyga did the same. The two fired.

[Fire Weapon Difficulty: 10. Psyga and Ken’s Move Stat: 4 and 3 respectively. Roll... 11 for Psyga, 9 for Ken]

The two streams fired off, though only Psyga’s was able to get the group affected by the blast, dissolving one of the zombies and massively damaging those close to the zombie. The threat was delayed quite a bit, thus giving them a moment to talk.

“Ken, seems you’re no good at the firing business. I can be your hired gun while you go find people to save... If there’s any people.” Psyga said.

“Well... Alright. I’m gonna carry the pack around. Maybe find someone else who can use it effectively.” Ken said.

“Alright. So, where to?” Psyga asked as he fired his weapon at the zombies.

[Fire Weapon Difficulty: 10. Psyga’s Move Stat: 4. Roll... 13]

Another stream to a zombie, melting it and killing the zombies that were injured from the previous attack.

“Dunno... I figured you’d know.” Ken said.

“Why?” Psyga asked.

“Because you came from that town. If you came from there, chances are, others are as well...” Ken said.

“... No. It’s only me. There was another survivor... but... he...” Psyga couldn’t finish his sentence.

“Shit... My apologies. I just thought...” Ken said. Psyga then went ahead.

“MYTHIC! Are there any survivors here?” Psyga shouted to the skies.

[Odds: Somewhat Likely. Chaos Factor: 8. Roll... 92]

I am sorry, I don’t think there’s any. Not that I can find.” MYTHIC said.

“What? MYTHIC, do you want us to get on a wild goose chase?” Psyga asked.

[Odds: 50/50. Chaos Factor: 8. Roll... 70]

There’s no way I can act as your radar. I have standards, you know.” MYTHIC said.

“Well, we’re fucked. We went into this town for goddamned nothing, and we have no goddamned goals to act upon.” Psyga said.

If it makes you feel better, I forgot to reward Ken with Brownie Points for his pursuit of Soulless Science...” MYTHIC said.

“Wait what?” Ken asked.

I shall roll for you the amount of Brownie Points you will receive for your invention of the Proton Pack, a discovery that will advance the struggle of zombies.

[Brownie Point Roll: 1]

“... One Brownie Point, really?” Ken asked.

[Odds: 50/50. Chaos Factor: 8. Roll... 70]

Yes. It hasn’t proven itself yet, and your attempts to invent it resulted in its destruction.” MYTHIC said.

“Hey, it was his fault!” Ken said, pointing to Psyga.

Doesn’t matter. It was destroyed.” MYTHIC said.

“... Well fuck this. I can’t make any scientific discoveries without idiots fucking it up, and I can’t do anything without it being for naught. What is the point of even going? I’d rather die alone on the moon than go on.” Ken said.

“... Shit... MYTHIC... Please... Give us something... anything... A survivor! That’s all we ask for! A hook!” Psyga said.

[Odds: Somewhat Likely. Chaos Factor: 8. Roll... 10. An exceptional Yes]

“I want to spend my Brownie Point that I gained from your mock of a reward.” Ken said.

If you do, that’s gonna trigger a Random Event.

“Does it? Well, that makes it interesting them. Make it so.” Ken said.

... Very Well... RANDOM EVENT!

THE EVENT FOCUS IS... ACTION! EVENT MEANINGS DECIDED! ASSIST... THE PUBLIC!

“Wait a minute... The exceptional yes... Does that mean there’s multiple survivors?” Psyga asked.

[Odds: Likely. Chaos Factor: 8. Roll... 91]

Yes... The Public... Assist them...” MYTHIC said.

“But... where are they?” Psyga asked. Just then, he heard a scream. He then noticed a building nearby that was being surrounded by zombies, some of them forming into human ladders, though they were being knocked down by TVs, cabinets, and yes, even kitchen sinks. “Ken!” Psyga said.

“I know...” Ken said as he aimed his Proton Pack at the zombies blocking the doorway. Psyga did the same.

[Fire Weapon Difficulty: 10. Psyga and Ken’s Move Stat: 4 and 3 respectively. Roll... 14 for Psyga. 13 for Ken]

The duo managed to fire both their weapons successfully at the zombies, vaporizing two zombies and clearing the way for them to rush in.

[Run Difficulty: 10. Psyga and Ken’s Move Stat: 4. Roll... 18 for Psyga, 14 for Ken]

The two sprinted to the door and entered the office building, making sure they lock the doors once they got in.

[Question: Is the room filled with people?]

[Odds: Unlikely. Chaos Factor: 7. Roll... 75]

Psyga and Ken enter the room main lobby. The room looked like the reception lobby to an office building, though it was long abandoned, like at the very least a year. There were no elevators, but there was an open door leading to a staircase. It was empty, without any survivors. Though they noticed something on the door.

“Wait... The door wasn’t locked when we got in... Or barred...” Psyga said.

“Which means the survivors are at the top. The zombies aren’t smart enough to get in the door unless they break it down.” Ken said.

“Good, it’ll give us time to get up to the higher floors.” Psyga said.

“Still, we want to be safe. MYTHIC, do we make it to the top without any interruptions?” Ken asked.

[Odds:50/50. Chaos Factor: 7. Roll... 31]

Yes.” MYTHIC said.

“Alright. Let’s go.” Ken said to Psyga as he got on the stairs. Psyga followed Ken. They soon went to the top. There was only one room was on the top floor. Psyga tried pulling on the door, but felt it was heavily barred.

“Now what?” Psyga asked.

“We knock.” Ken said as he got to the door and knocked on it. “Hello? Anyone home?” Ken asked.

[Question: Do the Survivors answer the door?]

[Odds: 50/50. Chaos Factor: 7. Roll... 68]

The door took a while to open. Psyga and Ken saw a group of people who have gathered around. Most of them were scared. An old man with balding hair and a white beard stepped forward.

“Who are you people? Are you survivors as well?” The old man said.

“We are. My name is Professor Ken Gorisaki. This is my bodyguard, Psyga. We just came into town to test out a new weapon, and so far, it’s working perfectly. Able to vaporize zombies in an instant. That’s actually how we got in here. We killed some zombies on our way here.” Ken said.

“Is that so?” The old man asked.

“Yeah. We’re here to guide you guys out.” Psyga said.

“Out? Oh no... We don’t wanna go out! They’re everywhere! Heck... A young and spry man was here half a day ago and offered us freedom too! But we refused! I bet that boy got himself killed by now.” The old man said.

“... Did this guy have blonde hair?” Psyga asked.

“Y-yeah! You saw him?” The old man asked.

“...” Psyga then put the Particle Thrower underneath the old man’s chin, much to the shock of everyone, Ken included.

“Psyga, what the fuck!?” Ken asked.

“Yeah. I saw him. He did get himself killed. But by the man who caused this apocalypse. He saved my life. He’s the reason I’m here. So how dare you speak ill of him? I ought to kill you right now...” Psyga said, his finger hovering over the trigger. But, he pulled the thrower away. “But I won’t. You’re already dead.” This statement caused confusion. Psyga then pointed out the window, causing the survivors to look outside the window, where zombies have crowded the tower.

“If you sit in this tower, you’re just reinforcing a reminder to yourselves. That your life is controlled by mindless corpses. That you’re just birds in a cage. If you stay here, you’ll eventually die. Starvation? Likely. Thirst? More likely. If you manage to cheat both those things, eventually the zombies will come and get you. I’ve seen some making mountains from their bodies. They’re dumb, but they at least know how to scale. I know some of you are scared for your life. For this, I present to you a war cry from where I came from: They’re the food. We’re the hunters. Ken is willing to give one of you the newly made weapon if you’re willing to hold it like a flamethrower. Stay with the old man if you want to die. Come with us if you want to live. We can’t guarantee safety, but what we can guarantee is a chance for victory.” Psyga said to them.

[Speech Difficulty: 20. Psyga’s Cool Stat: 4. Brownie Points Used: 3. Roll... 20]

The crowd soon spoke to themselves. Few nodded as they inch closer to Psyga.

“Bu-but... You’ll die! The zombies... they’ll...” The old man said, but another survivor turned to him.

“I’d rather die than live another day worrying over if we have to eat ourselves!” A woman said, holding the hand of a kid no older than ten.

“Alright, who wants the Proton Pack?” Ken asked. Psyga looked around for volunteers. Then he noticed someone waving at him.

“Psyga! Psyyyyyyyyyga!” She shouted to him. Psyga was unable to recognize the woman, but he did find her a tad familiar. She had short brown hair with short twin tails, a green camisole, and white shorts.

“Huh... Do you know her?” Ken asked.

“No. Do you?” Psyga asked.

[Odds: Very unlikely. Chaos Factor: 7. Roll... 89]

“I’m afraid not.” Ken said.

“Eeeeeeeeeeeh? Psyga! How could you not recognize me!?” She said. She then lifted her camisole to expose her stomach, pinching the skin and waving it around a bit. “I’ve gained weight, haven’t I?” She asked. Psyga was silent, as if his mind was trying to process what the hell was going on. She then slumped onto her knees. “Waaaaaaaaaah! I’m the worst!” She whined.

“Weight... Wait... H... Hinako?” Psyga asked.

[Odds: Has To Be. Chaos Factor: 7. Roll... 65]

The woman stopped her whining and looked to Psyga.

“You do remember me!” Hinako said as she ran to Psyga and squeezed him tightly in a huge hug.

“H-Hina-ark!” Psyga said, trying to break out of the hug. She then let go.

“It’s been so long! I haven’t seen you since... since... I don’t know!” Hinako said.

“Yeah... Nice to... Yeah.” Psyga said. Ken noticed his utter dejection at Hinako’s presence. Hinako then turned to Ken.

“Give me that gun! Psyga and I will bust the zombies!” Hinako said, pumping her fist. Psyga then looked surprised. “What? Isn’t this what you wanted? A cooperation between anime and reality!” Hinako said.

“Oh... Uh... yeah. How the heck did you get here?” Psyga asked.

You asked for a survivor, and so I quickly skimmed your databanks to find a good actor to play survivor.” MYTHIC said.

“Eeeeeyup! I hope my sempais don’t mind me being in a zombie movie... This actually might help me break out of my pigeon hole of being cast as a cute clumsy girl. Now let’s get to busting zombies!” Hinako said as she rushed out of the room.

“Hey! You forgot your pack!” Ken said as he followed her. Some of the survivors followed too. Psyga was the last to leave. He turned to the old man for the last time and looked at him with a Death Glare. He then left the room.

[Odds: Unlikey. Chaos Factor: 6. Roll... 12]

Psyga and Ken enter the lobby to notice the zombies already in the area with broken doors to denote their presence.

“SHIT!” Psyga said as he noticed Hinako cowering before the zombies and wincing in fear. Psyga ran forward and fired his weapon right at the horde.

[Fire Weapon Difficulty: 5. Psyga’s Move Skill: 4. Roll... 16]

His blast at almost point-blank range blew away the zombies as it vaporized two of them and injured the others.

“Hinako! You okay?” Psyga asked her.

[Odds: 50/50. Chaos Factor: 6. Roll... 65]

Hinako looked up and gave her a nod. He then took her hand and lifted her up.

“Ken, give her the pack. We’re going to give her a crash course.” Psyga said as Ken tossed Hinako the pack. She picked it up and put it on her back. “Firing the weapon’s easy, you point the thrower to the zombies, and then you squeeze the trigger. Try it.” Psyga said, positioning Hinako’s hands to help her aim. Once he aimed at a zombie...

“Now!” Hinako then squeezed the trigger.

[Fire Weapon Difficulty: 5. Hinako’s Move Skill: 4. Roll... 10, last die was a 1]

[Question: Did Hinako and Psyga get hurt from the blast?]

[Odds: 50/50. Chaos Factor: 6. Roll... 14. Ken volunteers three of his Brownie Points, knocking it down to 11, an exceptional yes.]

As thunder roared, the recoil pushed the two back as it fired a blast that destroyed one zombie, but that was it. Ken was knocked by the two, and soon, the trio were on the ground, stuck and unable to get up.

[Damage Roll: (D4) 4, knocking Psyga down to 11 Brownie Points, and Hinako to 16 Brownie Points. Ken’s damage is the three Brownie Points he spent, bumping him down to 25.]

RANDOM EVENT!

“Ow...” Psyga said.

THE EVENT FOCUS IS... MOVE TOWARD A THREAD! THE THREAD IS... RUIN MALARETH’S VICTORY! EVENT MEANINGS DECIDED: IMPRISON THE SPIRITUAL!

“Shit... at this rate... we’ll...” Psyga coughed a bit.

“Psyga... this is embarrassing... but... since this is the end... I’ll tell you...” Hinako struggled to say her words, but Ken soon got up.

“No... I... I will not die like this!” Ken said as he took Psyga’s Proton Thrower, cranked the pack Up To Eleven, and pointed it at the zombies. He then fired at them.

[Fire Difficulty: 5. Ken’s Move Stat: 3. Roll... 9. He rolled a 1 on his last die.]

[Question: Does Ken get hurt by his blast?]

[Odds: 50/50. Chaos Factor: 6. Roll... 42]

“DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!!!!” Ken said as he fired. While the recoil managed to hurt him, he stood in place as the beam did something unexpected. The beam that hit the zombie was seemingly ripping something from it. It was white and clear, and coming right from the zombie. It looked to be the zombie’s soul that’s being ripped out.

“HOLY SHIT!” Psyga said, seeing this.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” Hinako screamed.

[Damage: (D10) 1. Bumping Ken’s Brownie Point count down to 24.]

“HAH! HOW’S THAT FOR MOTHERFUCKING SCIENCE!? YOUR SOUL IS MIIIIIIIIINE!” Ken screamed out, laughing his ass off as he released the trigger, causing the zombie to fall over dead, while his soul floated up to the sky. The other zombies backed away from the display of power Ken presented.

“Hah... Hah... Haaaaaah...” Ken sighed.

... Holy shit... I... You get a brownie point for that... Let me see...” MYTHIC said as he rolled a dice.

[Brownie Point roll...: 6]

Six! Six points!” MYTHIC said.

“Yeah... Six... Proud of me now?

[Odds: Very Likely. Chaos Factor: 6. Roll... 74]

Yes. I am very impressed with your interpretation. In fact, I will reward you, Psyga, and Hinako thirty Brownie Points after this is over.” MYTHIC said.

“Good... Psyga, Hinako, get your asses up. I suddenly feel the need to bust more zombies.” Ken said.

“H-how the fuck did you manage to rip the dude’s soul out?” Psyga asked.

“The beam, at least when we used it before, was protonically charged to blast away any cell in its path. I set the power to full on. It must have targeted the negatively charged energies of the zombie’s soul and polarized it.” Ken said.

“So... It’s an actual Ghostbusters Proton Pack?” Psyga asked.

[Odds: Very Unlikely. Chaos Factor: 6. Roll... 31]

“Sure, whatever helps you sleep at night.” Ken said.

“Cool! Now we need a Ghost Trap and we’re set!” Psyga said.

“Ghost Trap?” Ken asked.

“Yeah. The Beam would act as a lasso for the ghost... er... soul, and pull him in. Then we can use the Ghost Trap to trap the souls inside the trap.” Psyga said.

“Hm... That could work... I’ll look into it.” Ken said. Psyga then looked ahead. The way was clear.

“Come on guys, let’s go!” Psyga said, pointing in the direction towards outside. Several people began to follow him, Hinako and Ken included, as they marched outside.

THE EVENT FOCUS IS... NPC POSITIVE! THE NPC SELECTED IS... MALARETH! EVENT MEANINGS DECIDED! NEGLECT... EXTERIOR FACTORS!

The group rush outside to notice Malareth standing right outside, smirking.

“So, you managed to create the means to fight back against my zombies? Doesn’t matter. Your victory will be ruined by my hands.” Malareth said, snapping his fingers as a horde of skeletons rush to his aid. The skeletons were more responsive and fast compared to the zombies.

“MALARETH!” Psyga shouted as he fired the beam at Malareth before he could go away.

[Fire Weapon Difficulty: 10. Psyga’s Move Skill: 4. One Brownie Point is spent, making it 5. Roll... 24]

A beam soon shot out of the thrower towards Malareth. For once, Malareth held up the skull, fearing his life.

“Doesaskeletontaketheblow?” He repeatedly asked the skull.

[Odds: Likely. Chaos Factor: 5. Roll... 48]

A skeleton did indeed take the blow for him...

[Question: Does the force of the blast damage Malareth?]

[Odds: Likely. Chaos Factor: 5. Roll... 72]

Malareth saw the blast outreaching itself to him. Gripping onto the skull, he rectified the event, causing the blast to not even blow his hair.

[Changing Fate’s Design. Malareth spent ten Favour Points to move the result up to a 82. No.]

“HAH!” Malareth said. He smirked in victory... until he noticed that the blast just took out one of the skeletons, leaving him being a sitting goose. “Heh... I will enjoy our next encounter.” Malareth then left, though without Psyga to attack him, though he tried to give chase.

“Psyga!” Ken said, stopping him. “Your conflict with whoever the hell that guy is can wait! We have to get these guys to... where are we taking them?” Ken asked.

“Nowhere. We’re taking back this town.” Psyga said.

“What? Psyga, you’re crazy! There are zombies everywhere! How the hell are we gonna clear the town!?” Ken asked.

“I don’t care. Something will happen and will cause MYTHIC to consider it.” Psyga said.

“Like what?” Ken asked.

“Ah! I know!” Hinako said as she reached for her back and cranked a setting on the Proton Pack. It hummed to life as she pointed and fired at a zombie.

[Fire Weapon Difficulty: 10. Hinako’s Move Skill: 4. One Brownie Point is spent, making it 5. Roll... 21]

Hinako managed to rip the soul out of the zombie, much like how Ken did before. The impact from the beam knocked down a couple of zombies as well. Psyga could see that Hinako was closing her eyes tightly. Psyga smirked as he pointed his Thrower at the zombies and skeletons. Psyga then recalled what happened when Ken did it.

YEAH! Hear our roar! See what she possesses? She can rip the very souls from your bodies! Your necromancer can give you life, but we can just as easily take it! I know you might not listen to words, but I know you can at least watch in shock and awe! If you do not wish to die by our hands, then leave this town!” Psyga shouted to the Zombies.

[Speech Difficulty: 20. Psyga’s Cool Stat: 4, +3 with his Talent of Being Hammy. Roll... 21]

The zombies slowly moved away, though some, the skeletons included, stayed. In fact, one of the skeletons swung its sword...

[Attack Roll: Longsword (+8) Vs. AC (14) Roll... 27] [Damage: 11, one point higher than his Brownie Points]

And struck a deep wound into Psyga’s shoulder. Psyga smirked, clutching onto the sword and keeping the skeleton in a deadlock. He then pointed the thrower right at the Skeleton’s gut and squeezed the trigger.

[Fire Weapon Difficulty: 0 (it’s pretty much point blank range at this point) Psyga’s Move Stat: 4. Roll... 7]

And destroyed the spine with the forceful blast, ending the skeleton’s life. He then collapsed, bleeding out.

“Psyga!!!” Hinako said as she ran to him, firing at the zombies with her Proton Pack.

[Fire Weapon Difficulty: 10. Hinako’s Move Skill: 4. Roll... 15]

As she ran, she accurately fired her pack at the zombies’ feet, causing an explosion of protronic force that knocked the zombies away.

“Psyga... Don’t...” Hinako said to Psyga.

“Heh... Guess I won’t be able to read... that Madoka manga...” Psyga weakly said.

Psyga, at the risk of downright cheating, I am allowing you a second chance... Any time your Brownie Points are reduced to zero, I will permit you to spend one skill point to increase your Brownie Point count by twenty.” MYTHIC said.

“...” Ken looked up at the sky, glaring at whoever is toying with them.

“Ah... That... That can... I... I give my... Take my move stat.” Psyga said.

“Okay, I don’t know what the heck is going on. Move stat? Brownie Points? You haven’t explained to me any of this stuff!” Ken asked.

“Ken... There are some things that you won’t understand.” Psyga said as he glowed a bright blue. He then stood up, as if the slash was nothing to him. He noticed that the sword is by his feet. He picked it up and handed it over to the woman. “This city’s yours now. Let this sword be a symbol to your leadership. If the zombies dare come again, just raise your sword into the sky, to remind them just who they’re going to deal with.” Psyga said to her. The woman had no idea what Psyga was talking about, but took the sword regardless.

“Th-thank you...” She said. Psyga then turned around and looked to the sun.

“Ken. Hinako. From today onward, the zombies will tremble as we march for them. From now on, we are the Go-Busters!” Psyga said.

“Psyga, what in God’s name are you babbling about? Go-Busters? Really? That’s the best you can come up with?” Ken asked. Just then, Hinako bonks Ken at the back of the head.

“HEY! Knock it off! Psyga nearly died!” Hinako said.

“He only lived because of some literal Deus ex Machina! We don’t even know why he’s helping us! Or what’s even going on!” Ken said.

“Ken... Come along, I’m gonna explain to you a lot of stuff. Who Malareth is, what that voice your hearing is, and even why I’m here. You might need to tell me to slow down if I go too fast.” Psyga said as he walked off.

“And you’re just gonna leave these people to fend for themselves? You’re no worse than the old man!” Ken said, following him. Hinako sighed, then proceeded to follow the two.

And so, our heroes, now christened as the Go-Busters, journey off to a whole new world full of exciting adventures and challenging rivals. Will Psyga be able to find his way back home with the assistance of Ken and Hinako? What new stories await our heroes? What challenges will they face? The answer will present itself soon... Find out, on the next instalment!

“Who the hell is that guy?” Ken asked.

“Oh, don’t mind him. He comes with the song.” Psyga said.
