** Bianca Harrow raped and tortured Lori for days, while Lori was powerless to defend herself after being paralyzed by Bianca's stare. And when her sister, Cressida, found out Lori had killed her, she flew to Miami, where she [[spoiler: tortured and killed Bianca's servant]] in the cruelest way possible.

* TheScrappy: Heather is becoming this to a lot of readers, given her treatment of Leonard, the fact she constantly abuses her powers to get her way and never gets any sort of comeuppance whatsoever and her inability to accept the responsabilities for any of her bad deeds. It got worse when the VC script got [[{{Retcon}} changed]] so that Heather would have had a choice in becoming a vampire rather than being forced into one to replace Candice, as it actually happened. She's been likened to [[Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration Wesley Crusher]], even.

* CreatorsPet: Heather. Always gets her way? Check. Treats people like crap and is generally a nasty person and gets no comeuppance for it? Check. The story goes so far as to pull a cheap {{Retcon}} so she can come off as more sympathetic and likeable? Check. KarmaHoudini? Check. Heather may as well be considered this story's answer to [[TheSimpsons Lisa]].

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: [[WordOfGod According to Adam]], the fallout from the ''[[{{Crossover}} "Vampire Cheerleaders Must Die!"]]'' arc caused them to lose a significant amount of readers, which in turn, made it difficult to continue the comic due to production costs and [[http://www.pixietrixcomix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=524284#p524284 not enough revenue from print sales.]] As a result, several ideas that'd been planned for the final volume had to be cut; among them, was a scene where [[http://www.pixietrixcomix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=527394#p527394 Lori would've been shown interacting with Maria Delacroix and Adora Love]], from ''WebComic/EerieCuties''. While another scene would have featured a cameo appearance by the main cast of ''WebComic/MagickChicks''.

** The fans took a shine to Leonard and the Bakertown B squad, mostly because they have more likable traits in comparison to the Vampire Cheerleaders.

* LesYay: Leslie and the others often joked about Zoe and Suki having BelligerentSexualTension because they often bickered. After which, he all but becomes their slave, since Lori makes him their thrall. The following arc, he seemed [[TookALevelInBadass return to form]], when he briefly helps the PMS during the prom and, later, helps rescue the cheerleaders from Cressida Harrow. But has since gone back to merely being an everydude.

* FanDumb: The PMS side tends to try to justify Steph's unlawful execution of the deer woman and minimize their responsibility in the Urn of Kathos incident (despite them stating several times in the arc "this is our fault"); the VC side tends to minimize the cheerleaders' misdeeds (such as their treatment of Leonard and of Heather's parents) and ignore the reasons PMS have for going after them (the aforementioned treatment of Leonard and Heather's parents, and also strong suspicion of murder). The latter, also, have largely come to take it as read that the captured cryptids are ''[[EpilepticTrees being used for slave labor]]'', despite the fact that their treatment is being overseen by ''[[TheXenophile Marcy]]'', also insisting that PMS's capture of cryptids is indiscriminate despite evidence to the contrary, and that the reader is "meant" to be in the cheerleaders' camp [[SympatheticPOV just because they get higher billing]].

** Lori stepped higher in this position recently. She already came under a lot of fire before the merge with ParanormalMysterySquad due to turning [[EnsembleDarkhorse Leonard]] into a thrall, and just being seen as a unlikeable character by many. But when she bit, and possibly could have killed fellow [[EnsembleDarkhorse Fan-Favorite]] Char, [[InternetBackdraft oh boy did the flames explode...]] Oddly, the reasons Lori is disliked are both connected to the [[EnsembleDarkhorse Fan-Favorites]] of both series.
