This isn't the 80s anymore, it's not like it was a video tape or even a flash drive, it was a CELL PHONE VIDEO. Why didn't the guy just upload the video online someplace even if he DID want to make money off of it and avoid being mutated into a hideous monster? Answer: because then there'd be no episode.
** To be fair, the man is not the brightest human in New York. Insulting a life-sized reptile with sharp and dangerous weapons and Martial Art skills? If these were [[ComicBook/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtlesMirage another type of turtles]], the man would be ''dead'' right about now.

* NightmareRetardant: While there is a certain paranoia factor to the Kraang, their speaking style creates difficulty with taking them seriously.

* UncannyValley: While stylized like everything else in the show, the Kraang's disguises are droll businessmen whose eyes and mouths scarcely move, as if (and probably the case) the Kraang are barely trying with their disguises, creating a rather odd and creepy effect.

* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: Believe it or not, the most controversial change is the addition of a third toe on the Turtles. Fans ''exploded.''

* ParanoiaFuel: The Tengu from the Tales from the Turtles' Lair prequel comics at Nick.com claims to have watched the Turtles the whole time to learn what makes them tick. How would you feel if you found out someone had been watching you your entire life? It would not help at all if he even saw you every time you went to the can or other private stuff.

* RuinedForever: Many fans have already expressed their distaste over the show's art style and the changes made even when it hasn't aired yet. Many are especially mad that Donatello has the voice of [[{{WesternAnimation/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles1987}} 1987 Raphael]], Michelangelo's catchphrase is Booyakasha instead of Cowabunga, and both Turtles' weapons have retractable blades.
