** Talbumosuke sending [[spoiler: Gantebainne into town to test Segunda Etapa, and getting curb-stomped by Yoruichi; all it did was tip off Lelouch as to one of his best trump cards. Surely a supervised intra Espada battle]] would have been more productive; while it's explained in story that Tally didn't want to [[spoiler: risk damaging his Espada in such an exercise, Ganty's abject performance]] sort of belies his argument.

** If Aizen's such a hassle, why not just forcibly reincarnate him? End of problem; could even considered a FateWorseThanDeath to someone like Aizen.

* MoralEventHorizon: [[spoiler: Tsukishima]] crossed it for every [=YoruSoi=] fan when he [[spoiler: Made Soifon completely forget about Yoruichi]]

* PossessionSue: One could argue a case of this for [[spoiler: [[TookALevelInBadass Captain]] [[AdaptationalBadass of Squad 10]]]] [[GuileHero Lelouch]] [[TheChessmaster Lamperouge]]; the author has denied this.

* JustHereForGodzilla: Several fans are harping on the point in the story where [[spoiler: [[FishOutOfTemporalWater Lelouch]] will go to the World of Living during CodeGeass canon]] some of which, upon inquiry even admitted they would stop reading if the author aborted that arc.

** Kenpachi's zanpakuto spirit being a huge manly Chick Norris expy. Now we know it's actually [[spoiler: the cute little girl Yachiru Kusajishi.]]

* EarWorm: Shuren’s incantation: Fire burn and fire roar, total destruction from mountain to shore. Does not help that it sounds very similar to the line [[TheSmurfs Gargamel]] spouts in the opening sequence.

* PossessionSue: One could argue a case of this for [[spoiler: [[TookALevelInBadass Captain]] [[AdaptationalBadass of Squad 10]]]] [[GuileHero Lelouch]] [[TheChessmaster Lamperouge]]; the author has denied this. While not a complete Sue, he does have moments of Sue-dom, particularly as a product of 'Sue-by-association' with Aizen and Lelouch's constant desire to one-up him.

** Surely the idea was for everyone to fight Aizen together for the final battle; he did Ichigo the service of waiting for everyone else after him to show up. Kenpachi, being a BloodKnight, you can understand, but why did Stefan, Yhwach and Kensei, who have a bit more sense, try to fight him before the rest arrived?

Look at the name long enough, you’ll notice the [[MeaningfulName meaning]] and that [[spoiler:this makes Feluca and the Soul King one in the same]]. This then begs the question: [[spoiler:[[NoodleIncident how did Feluca become a pony]]?]]

There were several scenes that are noticable to give the reader a hint as to where in the series the scenes are taking place, but ultimately nothing that you can't just go to the anime and watch is used unless it can be, in the author's own words, changed or modified to add new information.

* LesYay: Cornelia and Nonette tend to come across as more than friends very often. Even when she was a teenager, Nonette would make flirtatious comments.
** Kallen and Inoue have this Big sister/Little sister going on between them that has led to fans seeing them as more than just friends.
** Yuna and Mari
** Yoruichi and Soifon, [[spoiler:who become an OfficialCouple]].

* AuthorFilibuster: The author's admiration for Lelouch is well known; he lists him as his favourite animanga charater after all. In this, it seems the story goes out of its way to try and make a lot of the cast be like him, with liberal helpings of DarkAndTroubledPast, DespairEventHorizon, and so on to try and explain the change. While not up to Terumi's standards, for instance, Lelouch's belief that the world is full of lies does come become kind of evangelical, particularly with regards to Momo, who laps it up. The characters themselves seem glad that they been through this, a they feel stronger for it, and considering the results [[spoiler:(Momo's Bankai, for instance)]] it's probably well founded, though while obviously intended to sound {{Badass}}, the way it's said can come across as kind of Narmy, which is apt given it's Lelouch, who is pretty famous among fans for his fabulously narmy facial expressions. This does come at the cost of individuality though, as some of the character's defining features have been lost as a result of the change.

* HandWave: A pretty bad one; If Yuna was never really in love with Lelouch like she said long after they decided they were BetterAsFriends, then how did they perform Synergy strike back when they fought against Tally-chan, something only [[HappilyMarried Byakuya and Hisana]] have also been seen doing? Especially when such a bond was stated to be a requirement. Surely, having had several decades to sort out her feelings for him even before the fight with Hoshima, she'd know if she truly loved him or not. The simple 'You're not the same guy I fell in love with' she told him back when they broke up was fine as it was.

* {{Fandumb}}: Too many people ask if the [[Manga/{{Bleach}} Thousand Year Blood arc]] is going to be used when the author has specifically stated, more than once, that he is not using it for the series' purposes.
** Back when the series was still relatively new, people thought Tosen would betray Lelouch. [[LateArrivalSpoiler He did not]].
** There are also people who skim too quickly through chapters and miss the WhamLine regarding [[spoiler:Susanna's ConvenientMiscarriage]].

* WallBanger:
** Three words; 'I must atone'. Yuna wasn't the only one who wanted to punch Leouch after that one.
** Momo announcing to the world that she'd be the new Zero; so if we see Zero in town doing vigilante-esque things, we all know it's really 4th division taicho Hinamori, and now we know who to write to and complain. Also, great way of painting a huge bullseye on your back Momo (Civil War, anyone?). For someone who's supposed to be Lelouch's protege, and a lot less naive than Canon Momo, that was pretty thick in the opinion of this troper.
** Free Lelouch: [[spoiler: Lelouch gets put on trial by the captains for being Zero; long story short, he's acquitted unanimously. Shunsui and Ukitake, who both also did some technically illegal things during Eye Of The Storm, and Tosen, who's outed himself as Lelouch's partner in crime, you can understand backing him to the hilt, even Sajin, who respects what he's trying to do, but Yamamoto also agrees, which kind of flies in the face of what he stands for; he can't have known Lelouch long enough to be as loyal as that to him, and he's not the sort to be swayed by stories like Lelouch's. Byakuya may be Lelouch's BFF, but again, is his friendship more important than his belief in the system? Yes, Byakuya is much less extreme here, and possibly had Hisana in his ear which helped, but I still find it a little hard to swallow that he'd side with Lelouch so completely. And finally Mayuri, who also acquits him, despite finding out Lelouch mind raped him, and has the personality that he'd more likely give a guilty verdict just for petty revenge. Even Stefan, for much the same reasons as Byakuya, only not being anything like as close to Lelouch. It also makes the complete about face many of them perform after Zero Requiem, despite HAVING ALREADY BEEN TOLD WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN, all the more jarring.]]
