* NightmareFuel: Dark Specter brainwashing Astronema after her HeelFaceTurn. It worked so well at turning her evil, it resulted in a {{plan}} on her part that nearly killed him THAT HE NEVER FOUND OUT ABOUT.

* CompleteMonster: Darkanda given that he kidnapped Karone and caused her to become Astronema. Dark Spector as well, living up to how much a CardCarryingVillain and the BiggerBad behind all the previous villains, he lives up to it.

** Looks like it'll finally be matched in PowerRangersMegaforce, thanks to the [[KaizokuSentaiGokaiger Legend War]], which features every ranger ever... and (accidentally) a few from [[SuperSentai another universe]].

* CrowningMomentOfAwesome: In the finale, Bulk and Skull initiate an IAmSpartacus moment. Later on, they lead the civilian charge against the armies of evil. Doubles as a CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming.
** In "Wasp with a Heart," a good-hearted monster was shot and wounded by another monster, while shielding Cassie from the blast as she'd been overpowered and was helpless . When Cassie spots the injured monster, who she had grown to feel sorry for, in immense pain she turns down-right scary. At that moment, Cassie could have probably taken down Ecliptor and Astronema by herself unmorphed.
** Adam coming back to help Carlos, potentially sacrificing his life to do so. And this was before team-ups became a seasonal event.
** Let's face it, the first CurbStompBattle between the Space and PsychoRangers was absolutely awesome. And then T.J. actually uses strategy to fight back.
* CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming: Divatox's effect from the Z-Wave.
** Adam showing up to help Carlos, while taking back the powers of the Black [[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers Mighty Morphin']] Ranger.
** Bulk and Skull's {{It Has Been An Honor}} handshake before heading into battle.

VocalEvolution played a big role, [[TheNthDoctor trading in]] the annoying [[BigApplesauce Noo]] [[AmericanAccents Yawk]] accent of CatherineBattistone to [[CuteShotaroBoy cute little brother]][[CrossDressingVoices -ish]] vocals of WendeeLee.

* {{Jerkass}}: Carlos in "Carlos on Call". He gets easily angered at a little girl when she finds out that he's a Power Ranger and begins to blackmail him. Any one of the Power Rangers would have gotten frustrated at her, sure, but Carlos snaps and yells at her, calling her a spoiled brat.

* SpecialEffectFailure: The staff, because of their reduced budget due to the failure of Turbo, must've been like, [[WebVideo/HistoryOfPowerRangers "Screw it! It's the last season and we're gonna pull out all the stops anyway. They don't have footage of flying in space? Fine, we'll just shoot it ourselves and have them model against a green-screen. It looks terrible, but who cares? Move on!"]]

** Adam showing up to help Carlos, while taking back the powers of the Black [[MightyMorphinPowerRangers Mighty Morphing]] Ranger.

** Ecliptor, for his complex character and status as AntiVillain, is easily the most popular [[TheDragon Dragon]] in the series ([[FirstInstallmentWins after]] [[MightyMorphinPowerRangers Goldar]]).

* {{Fanon}}: The United Alliance of Evil being the name of the collection of {{Big Bad}}s. It actually comes from a throwaway line in ''PowerRangersZeo'' about King Mondo having broken away from something called the United Alliance of Evil - just who and what that is isn't expounded upon, and the name is never used at any other time. It makes a pretty good name for [=PRiS=]' villain group, but {{Canon}} it's not.
** Also in most stories where Karone becomes a ranger [[PowerRangersLostGalaxy as opposed to canon]] she will usually be the purple ranger based on the color of her honorary ranger outfit.

* HilariousInHindsight: Astronema's "I wouldn't want to be a Power Ranger anyway!" Numerous production issues resulted in the actress becoming the Pink Ranger halfway through [[PowerRangersLostGalaxy the next season]].
