* VisualEffectsOfAwesome: The CGI animation is surprisingly top-notch and the backgrounds are well detailed. Helps that the pilot episode at E3 2010 was shown in 3D.

* HarsherInHindsight: The ending of "Peace Through Slime" ends with [[spoiler: Obtuse taking office after the Ghosts had interfered with the election]]. In 2016, a very similar scenario happened with the election between UsefulNotes/DonaldTrump and UsefulNotes/HillaryRodhamClinton, with Trump winning the election and taking office because of Russia interfering with the election.

* CultClassic: It wasn't really a popular show to begin with, but it still managed to obtain fans nonetheless who enjoy the characters and humor.

* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: People's reactions to the new design ([[OlderThanTheyThink even though this design]] for Pac-Man and the Ghost Gang was used ever since ''VideoGame/PacManParty'').

* FranchiseKiller: The two console games did so poorly with the public in terms of sales (with a mediocre reception to boot) that it's killed off ''Pac-Man'' platform-adventure games once more, the first game to have put these types of ''Pac-Man'' games on ice being [[VideoGame/PacManWorld Pac-Man World 3]]. Since ''Ghostly Adventures 2'' Pac-Man has been stuck with either simple mobile spin-offs or basic takes on the arcade formula.
** It also arguably put an end to Namco Bandai trying to knock the ball in the park as they haven't marketed the ''Ghostly Adventures'' series since the failure of the second game and for most merchandise and media have been [[Main/CanonDiscontinuity reverting]] back to [[VideoGame/PacMan Pac-Man's]] original ''Main/PieEyed'' design.

* GodModeSue: Pac-Man himself gets this complaint a lot from detractors, since he normally has very little trouble eating ghosts en-masse, and the berry powers just add to it. (This extends to the game as well, since outside of two varieties of enemies that need a specific berry to be defeated, the player can easily get eat most enemies without much challenge.)

* NauseaFuel: "Is Zit You Or Is Zit Me" features Pac-Man's grotesque pimples, that only get worse as the episode goes on. (Not to mention when he lets out a horrendous fart on poor Spiral and Cylindria when they attempt to bring him down.)

* AssPull: The Pointy Heads, especially when Apex states that they have all the yellow Pac Worlders (except for Pac, of course). When the show first began, it was hinted that Betrayus and his army were responsible for killing off the yellow Pac Worlders, then Pacinator states someone hired him to eliminate the yellow Pac Worlders.
** What actually happened to the Yellow Ones and Apex's involvement could possibly be a RetCon, though it's a bit too early to tell.
** Apex probably hired the Pacinator in order to remain incognito and Betrayus took credit in order to make himself seem even more dangerous.
