* BrokenAesop: Frank's constantly getting called on his poor nutrition and refusal to exercise, and at the end, we see that his whole ordeal with Thrax has [[ScareEmStraight convinced him to turn his life around]]. Just to get the point across, the last shot of the movie shows him going on a hike and eating a carrot stick. The intended "Be Healthy! Live Longer!" Aesop seems to fit...but Frank's unhealthy diet and lack of exercise had absolutely nothing to got to do with his brush with death. He got infected because he ate a dirty egg that happened to be covered with lethal bacteria. Theoretically, the same thing could have happened to a health nut. Granted, Frank's eating habits ''are'' atrocious, but he never suffers any of the expected consequences of them like heart problems, diabetes, or malnutrition. [[HollywoodPudgy Hell, he isn't even particularly fat...]]

* Jerkass: Mrs. Boyd . She places a restraining order on Frank when he accidentally throws up on her and adamantly refuses to lift it, even when all Frank wants to do is take Shane on the father-daughter hike that weekend.

* CompleteMonster: By the standards of the characters, and in the scope of the film, Thrax certainly qualifies... he wants to simply destroy Frank.
** For the sole reason of beating his previous kill times, mind you.

* EvilIsSexy: Despite the fact that he is only vaguely humanoid, Thrax apparently falls under this.

* NightmareFuel: Thrax.
** To this very mild germaphobe, ''Frank''. Yes, more than the actual germs.
** This troper is not particularly germaphobic now, but seeing this film was the cause of most of her childhood nightmares. Certainly worked as a cleanliness [[AnAesop aesop]].
** As a past sufferer of ingrowing toenails, this troper was understandably unnerved by that part. Hopefully, now that Frank's got a new mayor, he'll get that sorted out soon.

* {{Squick}}: Frank picks up a hardboiled egg and eats it. What makes this Squick? The egg has been on the ground in a filthy chimpanzee cage, and before that it was IN THE CHIMP'S MOUTH. Maybe all his unhealthy habits were affecting his brain?

* YourMileageMayVary: Whether you really care if Frank lives. He's pretty much a total jerk to Shane throughout the whole movie, except for the last 30 seconds or so.
** The film itself is pretty divided critically and viewership wise. Is it a slick SaltAndPepper movie with an interesting twist? Or is it just a weird and [[GrossOutShow disgusting]]? You decide.

* EarWorm: If your not a fan of rap, most of the soundtrack will get stuck in your head.

* AudioErotica: LaurenceFishburne as Thrax.

* {{Squick}}: Frank picks up a hardboiled egg and eats it. What makes this Squick? The egg has been on the ground in a filthy monkey cage, and before that it was IN THE MONKEY'S MOUTH. Maybe all his unhealthy habits were effecting his brain?

** And keep this in mind. From a human perspective, only one life is lost when a human dies. From the perspective of the series? Nearly every cell in your entire body is a sentient living being, that's ''billions'' of lives. Thrax has absolutely no problem knowingly killing what would amount to the entire world's population for no real reason other than his own ego...

** Kind of makes sense. Viruses are one of the few types of cells that can't reproduce asexually. Though how they go about reproducing is kind of NightmareFuel.

* EarWorm: If your not a fan rap, most of the soundtrack will get stuck in your head.
