* OlderThanTheyThink: It was heavily ([[NoIndoorVoice and loudly]]) advertised as a new show leading up to its rerun span on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons Network in 2015. Several viewers who had not heard of it before, either due to being too young during its initial airing or simply having it fly under their radar, thought that it actually ''was'' a new Franchise/{{Nicktoon|s}}.

* FridgeLogic: In the episode where [[ItMakesSenseInContext the entire world gets frozen because of a fridge]], when we look outside, all of the houses in the neighbourhood (Except Oggy's) are gone, and there's only a snow wasteland. Where did the houses go?

* {{Dub Text}}: In "The Kitchen Boy", Oggy grates up the cockroaches' bottoms into Olivia's pasta dish. The scene of them angrily marching off with their naked butts visible is cut in some broadcasts, leading viewers to believe that he grated them up completely.

* MoralEventHorizon: Inadvertently, Oggy crossed it in "The Kitchen Boy" by killing the cockroaches by grating them up and putting them into Olivia's pasta dish.

* TearJerker: To an extent, "So Lonely". Basically, it's about Oggy managing to drive the cockroaches out of his house, but he eventually gets bored without their pranks. It's sad enough, but the most tearjerking moment is probably the part where he cried [[{{Narm}} like]] [[NarmCharm a baby]].
