** The full version of the main theme can be [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments Crowning Music of Funny]] once you hear it. The TV size version lyrics go really well with the mood of the show and personality of the main character. The second verse though...[[LyricalDissonance not so much]]

Added DiffLines:

* HoYay: Taku and Isaza, the two boys from chapter/episode 26. Taku [[{{Tsundere}} tsuns]] Izasa during his first two meetings but gradually warms up to him to the point of wanting to run away from home with him. [[spoiler:As an adult, Taku still longs to see his friend again after Isaza leaves for good without telling him, but [[IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy says that it's all right when Ginko tells him Isaza is still alive and doing okay.]]]]

* StoicWoobie: Ginko, aware that [[YourDaysAreNumbered his days are numbered]] and forced to [[WalkingTheEarth walk the earth]] because his presence will inevitable bring trouble to any place he stays too long. He mostly seems to have made some degree of peace with his situation and never really ''complains'', but his reactions to other characters who have strong ties to a single place where they've settled makes it clear that he envies them, and in "Those Who Chase The Rainbow" he joins Kourou in his search as a "vacation" from his constant otherwise-aimless wandering.

* CrowningMusicOfAwesome: The soundtrack is ''beautiful''. Even the short, simple main theme is profoundly emotional to listen to.

* NightmareFuel: This show practically runs on this, especially in later episodes.
** Any episode where BodyHorror is involved... especially the second episode. Dude... her ''eyes!''
*** This is even worse in the episode "Eye Of Fortune, Eye Of Misfortune", which is basically the evolution of that episode.
** Same with purple squicky stuff coming out of the forehead, or pink clouds from the ears and mouth.
** Or rainbows that make you hallucinate and attach to your body. That's right, even rainbows are terrifying in this story.
** Also strings that float in the sky, [[spoiler: that are actually fishing lines for huge flying ''mushi'' to grab food with. Oh, and the "food" can be just about anything, by the way. Including humans.]]
** Then there was the story about the guy [[spoiler: whose dreams become reality.]] ''Especially'' the part [[spoiler: where he dreams of a plague that turns the rest of the villagers to dust.]] ''Shudder''...
** The "dog" that the boy draws in the first episode. It comes to life, still appearing as a poorly made child's drawing. To say the least, the thought of seeing something like that actually walking around gives me the willies.
This list shows the last 10 events of 38. Show all.
