* CriticalResearchFailure:
** If the comments on some of his Youtube videos have anything to go by, he has the tendency to use the items featured on Infomercialism incorrectly or not really getting the main point of the product (Though he creates videos that uses the comments from the original videos and try to debunk the accusations, and some of the suggestions are pretty tame). The most blatant example, however, was the Perfect Slicer review, on which he lambasted it for being such a poor product... while being blissfully ignorant that he was using a cheap plastic knock-off that doesn't even remotely look similar.
** In his ''Film/FiftyShadesOfGrey'' review he seems shocked at the idea of a Dom and sub having a contract, asking "Is that even legal?" It's not legally enforcable, but having a contract to define the terms of the relationship is extremely common in BDSM. In fact, it's one of the few things the movie got more-or-less right.
** Averted with the Clever Cutter/Scissor Slicer reviews. He showed the infomercial for the former, but could only admit to finding the latter, which was clearly a knock-off and promptly broke halfway through his review. A few days later, he managed to get hold of a real Clever Cutter and found, while it still didn't quite live up to its infomercial, that it was much better made and actually worked to a degree.

** The game of "Are they still on the site?" in his Kickassia review, not only are Linkara and Film Brain now gone, making it a 0%, but Mike himself left at the same time as both of them.

* BaseBreakingCharacter: Due to Mike's sense of humour, he's either one of the funniest reviewers on TGWTG, or is deeply unfunny or offensive.

* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: Eating nothing but [=McDonalds=] meals for seven days... and losing weight! Though Mike states at the end of the week that he still wouldn't recommend that diet to anyone.

* OlderThanTheyThink:
