** Together with Doctor G, a revived Colonel Zol plans to initiate Operation: Japan Annihilation, which involves unleashing a [[DeadlyGas toxic gas]] in Hokkaido to kill innocents. Zol also does not care about fellow Shocker and Destron officers at all, as seen when he tries to have fellow Destron officer Ambassador Hell executed for failing to defeat Kamen Rider V3. Zol stands out even to this day as one of the very worst the franchise ever produced.

* CompleteMonster: Marshal Armor, AKA Zariganna, is the fourth and final Destron Commander. When he assumes command of Destron, his first act is to plant evidence against their head scientist, Jo(u)ji Yuki, whom he views as a threat, and execute him via acid pit. Knowing the man values his hands for his work, Armor begins the execution by burning one off first. From there, Armor launches a number of deadly schemes, including attempting to cover Tokyo in [[DeadlyGas nerve gas]], kidnapping children for slave labor, and [[WouldHurtAChild unleashing Vampire-Chameleon on more children]] to feed off their blood. When Vampire-Chameleon kills a pair of his own men, Armor coldly remarks that [[LackOfEmpathy if they weren't so weak they wouldn't have died]]. When ordered by the Destron Leader to [[NukeEm launch a nuclear assault on Tokyo]], Armor kidnaps a scientist's family to force him to work on the weapon. When he frees the heroes, Armor has him killed, and hangs his corpse outside the Destron base as a warning to all who would defy him.

* SpecialEffectFailure: As prone to this as most other Showa Era Kamen Riders. It's obvious when the actor has been replaced by a dummy during especially dangerous special effects. When Baron Tusk fights against the Three Riders his prop spear is broken in certain cuts and flops around uselessly whilst other cuts it holds together fine.

* TearJerker: The ending of Episode 39. V3 saves Shuichi's sister from Destron, and the two reunite. Shiro is touched by the happy siblings, but soon his smile fades as he reflects on his own sister, Yukiko, and his family, having long since lost them. It's a surprising aversion to Shiro's AngstWhatAngst, and the episode ends with him sadly contemplating the sunset, whilst the narration says:

Once a surgeon thought he was seeing a patient, only for the medical Destron staff to get a hold of him and turn him into TV-Fly. V3 tries his hardest to save people, and many times he succeeds.
