More than one viewer might have thought this movie was about to take a turn into ''much creepier'' adulterous MayDecemberRomance territory with the way Mark kept being so friendly to Juno and the way she kept spending time alone with him, but no, that's not what happens.

* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: We're supposed to sympathize with Juno who becomes pregnant at an early age. However, she seems oblivious to the consequences, [[AngstWhatAngst doesn't think it's such a big deal]] and it all works out for her in the end... [[EsotericHappyEnding kind of]].

Even terminating or losing a pregnancy fairly in its earliest stages can cause some hormonal reaction, so 40 weeks of extra estrogen (and everything else) build-up to end fairly suddenly, well... talk to any woman who has given birth in the last few days and they'll probably start crying at some point. Add in the fact that Juno is 16 years old and relatively unprepared for what's about to befall her. While the scene with Juno is fairly heartbreaking, it's probably less about the whole situation and more just a very, very realistic depiction of postpartum reaction.
