Of particular mention is the way they infiltrated and assimilated a large portion of a polar colony, then used the [[AndIMustScream still-alive Colonists]] to ward Shin Getter off from attempting to attack it. Just as it's about to do irreversible damage to Shin Getter, the Black Getter swoops out of the sky, and proceeds to brutally rip the Invader to shreds without caring about the moaning and crying colonists that were assimilated by the Invaders. The resulting chorus of cries from the unfortunates who ''splatter everywhere while still moaning'' horrifies the pilots of the Shin Getter, as well as the one girl they managed to rescue.

* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: In ''Getter Robo Go'' Rando sends an cyborg assassin to kill Go. Upon Go's mother seeing a thug-faced nine foot tall man with a trenchcoat and mohawk she promptly calls out "Go one of your friends is here!" and fusses for a panel why her son couldn't have normal friends.

* ShillingTheWesley: Just a tiny bit. There seemed to be some slight hints of shilling Benkei in an early episode of ''Getter Robo G''. During a test the veterans Ryoma and Hayato take a beating testing Getter Robo G's simulation. Benkei tries it and everyone is distracted and leave Benkei. They return in panic only to find that he had fallen asleep and was unscathed.

* MagnificentBastard: Raseshi [[spoiler: leads Rando's Canada's campaing to the ground, resulting in his army being forced to defensive and him to activate doomsday device Dinosaur Empire will use to destroy humanity]].

** Also Jack King's portrayal in the same. He was appallingly offensive in the original anime (even to the Japanese's eyes), but in ''Shin vs Neo'', he's basically a walking, GratuitousEnglish talking series of [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome Awesome and SugarWiki/FunnyMoments.

* WhatAnIdiot: Ryoma at one point tells Musashibo that Michiru would fall for him if he [[IfYouKnowWhatIMean shows her his little warrior]]. He actually buys this.

* ValuesDissonance: The manga draws a lot of ideas and values from eastern philosophy and Buddhism, which may come across as somewhat "hippy" to western readers.
