When they track him down, what do they send to get him? A fully armed assault squadron. That insisted that they were there to ''protect'' Mamoru. Riiight. The moment became a bit of a {{Tear Jerker}} when poor Mamoru, confused, scared, and still unsure of the nature of his powers, begins to fight for his life and cry out for his (adoptive) parents.

* MostAnnoyingSound: Good god, Sunou and Hana's voices are like like scratching nails on a chalkboard made of screeching kittens.

* SuperlativeDubbing: Astoundingly enough, the English dub of the series is generally agreed to be ''fantastic'', especially during somewhat deeper moments like Leo explaining why he's so flippant about Guy's well-being in episode 2. This is due in part to having much of the same cast as the freakin' '''''WesternAnimation/TheVentureBrothers''''' (same voice studio). Sadly, the English dub had the plug pulled on episode 25 - literally ''two episodes'' before the series really begins to take off. Many fans lament what might have been.
** This is reportedly due in part to several people involved with the dub, including Mike Sinterniklaas, absolutely adoring the show and knowing how good the second half and FINAL was. They were also reportedly ''hugely'' frustrated that they never got to do the really interesting parts of the show.
** And Media Blasters has openly said the chances of the rest of the show getting a dub (and probably of FINAL being licensed and/or dubbed too) are zero. Thanks, guys.
