They've been released on the NES, Playstation, Gameboy Advance, PSP, iPhone, Wii Virtual console, Playstation Network, and that's just ''American'' releases...at this point it's safe to say almost anyone who owns almost any Sony or Nintendo console can play some version or another of the two.
** ''FinalFantasyVII'' has conspicuously ''not'' been remade yet, but there is a not-small amount of material called ''The Compilation'' released about the game's [[TheVerse verse]], including movies, novels, and a trio of game sequels. Considering ''Final Fantasy VII'' is the game that mostly [[BaseBreaker Broke the Base]] in the first place, this did not help any.
** In more recent years ''FinalFantasyIV'' has gotten some of this treatment. Since 2005 it's been released on the Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, Wii Virtual Console, it got [[TheAfterYears a sequel]], and now the sequel and the original are being bundled together and remade for the PSP.

* FanDumb: The series has a pretty big one, especially regarding the XBox360 version of FinalFantasyXIII. To elaborate, when FFXIII was announced for the XBox360, a portion of the fanbase declared it Final Fantasy in name only. They then declared that FinalFantasyVersusXIII was the "true" Final Fantasy XIII. Then the game was announced to have a significant amount of extra content removed and the fan dumb declared that it was because of the 360 version, even though said content was probably extra areas that had no real reason to be in the final game. Then when the critical reaction to the game turned out to be less than enthusiastic, they blamed it on the 360 version again.
