unfortunate implications need citations

* UnfortunateImplications: The ending. [[spoiler: So, you have two guys who claim they love you but see you mainly as a tool for their own ends that are currently fighting to the death to claim the right to have you. You call bull, then leave. What's the sensible thing to do after that? Go back with the guy that wasn't a Jerkass but still built you to save his own skin.]] It was either shortsided, rushed, or [[Theatre/MyFairLady completely intentional]].
** The OrwellianRetcon of the last page of issue 5 in the trade paperback and the webcomic version takes those implications out entirely.

Complaining About Shows You Dont Watch is now only about the In Universe usage. Its usage as an Audience Reaction is being removed, as well as usage in criticism on work pages, which is inappropriate regardless.

* ComplainingAboutShowsYouDontWatch: When the comic was first announced, some MyChemicalRomance fans (not all of them, especially with the fandom overlap between MyChemicalRomance and FallOutBoy) claimed that the comic was a ripoff of ComicBook/TheUmbrellaAcademy. From what little promotional material was given out at the time, absolutely NOTHING indicated that ComicBook/FallOutToyWorks was going to be a superhero comic within the same vein as ComicBook/TheUmbrellaAcademy and both comics have differing art styles. This complaint was non-existent by the time the comic actually came out.

Fan Dumb & Hate Dumb are now part of Flame Bait. Only in-universe examples are allowed.

* FanDumb: The comic went into DevelopmentHell for so long that the final issues and the trade paperback were released around the time that FallOutBoy's hiatus started. Tweets from the official Fall Out Boy Twitter promoting the comic were often met with disappointment that they weren't actually tweets announcing a comeback. Tweets announcing a comeback ''several months into the hiatus''.

* WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForKids: The art looks like something out of a Disney movie and features colorful toy robots including a teddy bear boy and a moth that doubles as a smartphone. The book waxes philosophical about the nature of romantic and platonic relationships, there's frequent cursing, and the opening of issue three [[spoiler: features Tiffany and the Toymaker having sex]] in a dream sequence.
