* CompleteMonster:
** Good GOD, [[spoiler:the Crawler]]. Massacred [[spoiler:damn near all of Aurora]], drove [[spoiler:Logan]] insane after killing his army, [[MindRape assaults and almost destroys]] [[spoiler:Walter]] and then tries doing the same to you, succeeding to a lesser degree. It will then kill most of Albion unless you can fund the army needed to drive it off, and even if you do it [[spoiler:possesses Walter]], forcing you to kill him in order to give it the KarmicDeath it deserves.
*** The YMMV part comes in, of course, as to whether or not you think that CompleteMonster can apply to [[EldritchAbomination Eldritch Abominations]] or not.
** Reaver isn't getting much better on this front either.

* ComedicSociopath: Depending on your tolerance for such things, the gnomes are either this or simply annoying, possibly to the point of being TheScrappy.

* MoralEventHorizon: The player can cross it by [[spoiler: ruling Albion like a tyrant, then taking the money he/she gained over the year for said deeds and hoarding it as personal wealth, leaving Albion completely exposed to the Crawler attack.]]

* TheScrappy: Hobson

* GameBreaker: Vortex + Fireball/Shock. Even the Wheel of Misfortune challenge becomes an absolute joke, as most enemies can't even touch you and die instantly upon being bashed into nearby obstacles [[GrievousHarmWithABody or each other]], allowing you to jack up the multiplier incredibly quickly and keep it going almost indefinitely. Especially hilarious if you max out the score [[InstantExpert on your first try]], as after the final round, Reaver makes a condescending comment about the max score only being able to be reached once [[TakeThatAudience someone with no life comes along]][[note]] ([[DontExplainTheJoke Implying that you'd have to try over and over and ''over'' to get the best possible score]][[/note]].

* GameBreaker: Vortex + Fireball/Shock. Even the Wheel of Misfortune challenge becomes an absolute joke, as most enemies can't even touch you and die instantly upon being bashed into nearby obstacles [[GrievousHarmWithABody or each other]], allowing you to jack up the multiplier incredibly quickly and keep it going almost indefinitely.

* AlasPoorVillain: If you choose to [[spoiler: execute Logan]].

** Reaver, who's considered a KarmaHoudini, falls under this once one [[FableII remembers/learns]] that [[spoiler:he's also a Hero, and Heroes ''don't'' have to be good, as many players can attest to (and players can be just as bad, if not ''worse'', than Reaver if they choose to be). Heck, he even has the dark circles around his eyes that the Hero can gain by being evil enough.]]

* PlayerPunch: Walter.... "tell me how to be a hero"...

* FridgeBrilliance: Logan's monlogue about how Albion is his to mold and shape sounds evil at first, [[spoiler: till you realize that his threats are actually facts based on when the Crawler arrives and slaughters all of Albion.]]
** More specifically, that Albion is his and the people will do what he says or they will die. [[spoiler: He's more right than you could possibly think, and NOT in the figurtive sense either. It's just that he's not going to be the one to kill them.]]

* HighOctaneNightmareFuel: The caves before you get to Aurora. Just...the caves. And crossing the desert.

* XenSyndrome: [[spoiler: The build-up to the Crawler invasion takes an enormous amount of time and money if you want to do it the good way, but the invasion level itself is extremely short and culminates with an easy boss fight.]]

* EnsembleDarkhorse: She only appeared in one trailer, but the [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHB6P8IKi9Y Rebellious Chicken]] captured the hearts of all who knew her. Rest in peace, noble chicken - you shall be avenged.

* GoodBadBugs: In ''III'', when the Hero has sex, it doesn't stop other [=NPCs=] from playing their standard interaction dialogue if they wander in the room. Having your child demand a toy or your wife coo "Oooooh, nice doggie!" during sex is absolutely hilarious.
** Your son screeching "I want to come, too!" shortly after your wife's first moan during the blackout can be... somewhat disturbing.
** Subverted with a bug that occurs when you place your family at the castle before the invasion. In each throne room appearance, the crowd is pulled from various NPC models across the castle (including your wife), and these models are "killed" after each scene to remove them from that room. Following this bug, at a random interval, a text message displays saying, "[[WhamLine After the untimely sudden death of your wife, your child was placed in the Bowerstone orphanage]]." Note this message goes by incredibly fast, during a black background saving screen. Unless you quit without saving immediately, the specific character builds of your wife and child are effectively erased from the game FOREVER.

* PlayerPunch: Walter...."tell me how to be a hero"...

** The Hero of Brightwall in the third game can be this as a monarch. As one achievement is to make a royal decree while dressed as a chicken, this is highly likely to come up for most gamers at least once.

* CrowingMomentOfFunny: After reaching the shores of Aurora, the Hero and Walter start walking into a cave, wherein Walter says a few funny lines, starting with the shouting of his pseudo-catchphrase "balls." Laugh now, because it [[NightmareFuel goes downhill from there]].

** OrIsIt A black soot chicken scurries out of the kitchen at the beginning of the play-through. If you have the patience to follow her long enough, she leads you to a silver key chest in the garden.
