That scene and this passage are a ridiculous strawman. No one is arguing to let fictional damsels die, they are arguing not to put them in such situations in the first place.

* MisaimedFandom: In Episode 16, Suzaku gives a number of politically correct excuses as to why he can't save a tied up and crippled Nunally from [[spoiler:something that turns out to not be]] a bomb. It's immediately made obvious that Lelouch can't convince Suzaku to save Nunally because, as usual, Suzaku is being a stubborn idiot that is refusing to see the reality of the situation. Yet the sheer number of people that unironically say Suzaku beat Lelouch in that discussion, rather than the latter just being enraged by the former's general stupidity in a life or death situation involving his younger sister, is astonishingly high.

* FridgeBrilliance: Episode 15 is titled "Identity Crisis on Three Earths". During the episode, there are a few [[FreezeFrameBonus indications]] that Luffy is present in the background. Six days later, in ''None Piece'' Episode 7, Luffy goes through a portal into the ''Soul Eater'' world, and the next time we see him, he has a sniper rifle aimed at Lelouch. Seven months later, we get ''Soul Whatever'': "Third Earth", which shows us (among other things) what Luffy was doing. Additionally, it ties in the alternate version of Episodes 5-7 of ''None Piece''. The title "Third Earth" ties in with Episode 15's title and indicates that all three episodes were planned from the start.
