* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: In his ''Die Hard'' review, he speculates that Nakatomi may be a lot more corrupt than the nice guy the audience is presented with, due to the absurd amount of bailer bonds in the vault.

** At one point, when they're reviewing ''The Grey'', Liam Neeson spouts a line that is ''so'' awesome they actually ''remove'' a sin.

** In their own words, "[cinema] sins have no real value", and the numbers of sins has absolutely no bearing on how much they like or dislike a movie. No, that's usually indicated by the number and length of the bonus rounds.
* MemeticBadass: The makers see Liam Neeson as one; becoming disappointed every time he is on screen and not killing someone.

* HateDumb: Goes both ways. On the one hand, many people who don't like the videos seem not to know its a comedy series, despite many of their "sins" clearly being gags (eg. "no lapdance scene"; "GwyenthPaltrow"; "LiamNeeson not killing anybody in this scene"). On the other hand, sometimes they ''do'' nitpick, or bring up supposed plot holes or mistakes that actually have an explanation or don't really need one.

* CrowningMomentOfFunny: Entire ''The Room'' video.

* HePannedItNowHeSucks: Hoo, boy. In every one of his sin videos, you will find many mixed YouTube comments, usually those who criticize or insult him on being too serious and overly critical about an entertaining movie. [[BellisariosMaxim Even though those people do have a point about not reading too much into the films]], they [[RuleOfCautiousEditingJudgment probably]] aren't aware that these videos are meant to be [[HateDumb satirical]].

* FanDumb: Despite the series' creators regularly disavowing this attitude, there are still some people who take their word as gospel and assume any film they subject to a sins video is an irretrievable piece of crap that only made it big because of Hollywood ad-power or the corporations or something. In fact, the make it clear numerous times that the number of sins are not necessarily a reflection of a movie's quality. The movies they generally ''do'' massively dislike tend to have their sins tally's inflated to ludicrous degrees with Bonus Rounds, such as the "KirstenStewart Noises" in their review of ''Twilight''.

** Their [[SelfDepreciation "Everything Wrong with Cinema Sins" video]], in which they give themselves the worst score of possibly anything they could ever review, showing that they have a good sense of humor about themselves.

* HePannedItNowHeSucks: Hoo, boy. In every one of his sin videos, you will find many mixed YouTube comments, usually those who criticize or insult him on being too serious and being overly critical about an entertaining movie.
