* StockParodyJokes: Caillou's baldness stems from him being a chemotherapy patient.

** There are ''Caillou'' WebAnimation/{{YouTube Poop}}s out there. Many of which are ones of Caillou's tantrum from the circus episode. A notable series of poops come from [=MrPoopMeister=], whose poops often include rampant F-bombs, child abuse, and in one poop, stating that Caillou [[CrossesTheLineTwice was responsible for 9/11]].

** Alan and Andy are not only praised for being likable characters, but also good representations of people with Autism and Down Syndrome, respectively.

* ToyShip: Many fans like to ship Caillou and Sarah together. There are also a few who ship Leo and Clementine.

* AuthorsSavingThrow: Season 4 removes all of Caillou's brattiness and flaws and turns him into a NiceGuy with an [[MrImagination imaginative streak]], no doubt from complaints among parents over his brattiness in earlier seasons.
