Adam Scherr (born September 6, 1983) is an American professional wrestler and former strongman currently signed to Wrestling/{{WWE}}, where he performs under the ring name '''Braun Strowman'''.

He was later split up from the Wyatt Family during the 2016 draft and began his solo career in a variety of {{Squash Match}}es before getting annoyed and demanding more competition from management. He is a 2-time RAW Tag Team Champion (once with [[ItMakesSenseInContext a 10-year old kid]] [[MemeticBadass named Nicholas]] and once with Wrestling/SethRollins), a one-time Intercontinental Champion and a one-time Universal Champion.

** Gone up another whole notch with ''Wrestling/TripleH'' at Wrestling/SurvivorSeries 2017, with Strowman seizing Triple H ''by the throat'' post-match and assuring him that if he used Braun like he did before[[note]]Tagging him out in the midst of dominating Team Smackdown so Triple H could eventually take the glory by scoring the winning pinfall on Wrestling/ShaneMcMahon[[/note]], that he will NEVER play "The Game" again. To say nothing of the fact that individually, the three had become the three top stars in the company ever since their original break up. That's right -- Braun ''alone'' forced three main event-level stars into re-forming their old stable. For comparison, the last time a similar event like that happened in the company is when ''Wrestling/TheShield'' forced ''Wrestling/{{Evolution}}'' to re-form just to take them out.

* PlatonicLifePartners: With Alexa Bliss. ShipTease aside, she and Braun are still portrayed as close friends whenever they interact if the repeated call backs to their time tagging on Mixed Match Challege is any indicator.

* HairTriggerTemper: Has a humongous temper and will always be on an angry streak of an UnstoppableRage. Fun fact outside of wrestling he says he may have inherited his father's temper.

** Despite his never-ending brutality, he was ''definitely'' a face coming out of ''Wrestling/WrestleMania 34'' where he picked a 10-year old boy called Nicholas to be his tag "partner" then ran over Sheamus and Cesaro single-handedly to win the RAW Tag Team Titles and celebrated with the kid in the ring. The next night on RAW he and Nicholas gave up the titles to GM Kurt Angle (because [[RealityEnsues Nicholas was only in the 4th grade and still had school]]), but he promised that once Nicholas finished school (in eight years) they'd be coming back for the titles. Braun Strowman is every kid's hero after that.

* TheBrute: In Wrestling/TheWyattFamily — which says something as basically all of its members up to that point had been very large and very physical.

The guy has destroyed anyone in his way for two years and was only pinned twice (by Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, both being InvincibleHero and InvincibleVillain in their own rights).

* BerserkButton: Refusing to stay down or even trying to budge after taking a Strowman beatdown will only incense Braun into beating you down further until he feels he's finished with you.

* BlackSheep: Called as much in regards to The Wyatt Family (probably a reference to the fact that he showed up very suddenly in the family's second "incarnation" with little to no setup). He initially appeared wearing a black sheep mask (to contrast with Erick Rowan's white sheep mask).

* TheDreaded: In his solo run. A large majority of the RAW locker room is ''terrified'' of him. Even Mick Foley, who has basically SeenItAll, thinks he's a whole different level of scary.

* HeelFaceTurn: At TLC he was betrayed by his team-mates. Later on RAW he had a {{Roaring Rampage Of Revenge}} and DESTROYED The Miz and his goons. The crowd exploded.
** He is actually more of a {{Tweener}} since he didn't change his ways, just his victims.

* HugeGuyTinyGirl: For the Mixed Match Challenge, he’s the huge to Alexa Bliss’ tiny. Braun stands almost an even two feet taller than Bliss' famed Five Feet of Fury.

* InsaneTrollLogic: Apparently believes that [[ClothesMakeTheSuperman wearing his shirts can make other people at least 30% stronger]].

* RedBaron: Michael Cole often refers to him as "The Mountain of a Man" and "The Monster Among Men". Another nickname, which didn't quite take, came in the form of "The Abominable Strow-man," courtesy of Corey Graves.
