** During the Dec. 11 episode of ''Wrestling/MondayNightRaw'', Titus O'Neil and Apollo Crews were bickering with Gallows and Anderson backstage, when suddenly, out of absolutely nowhere, they all scramble for cover, simply because Braun was walking towards the ring for his match against Wrestling/{{Kane}}. Even without actively looking for blood, Braun scares the shit out of everyone just by existing in the same place and time.

* ManlyMan: Braun almost couldn't be more masculine. He's a 6'8 professional strongman with a badass beard, a [[BaritoneOfStrength low]], [[GutturalGrowler growling]] voice, and a bad attitude, who crushes other men (in his own words) like empty beer cans.

Rated M For Manly is about masculine works; wrestling personas are more Manly Man

* MadeOfIron: He not only survived [[spoiler:Roman backing an ambulance, with Braun inside, full stop into a tractor trailer]], but '''''limped off under his own power, bruises, blood and all.''''' We are talking about the same sort of insane tactic done by Wrestling/ShaneMcMahon that put Wrestling/{{Kane}}, at his psychotically indomitable peak in 2003, down for at least a week.

* BadassBaritone: Braun's voice is a deep, snarling growl that matches his look perfectly. He managed to hilariously subvert it one time when tricking Kevin Owens into giving up his location inside a port-a-potty, asking in a [[VocalDissonance very feminine voice]]: "Is anybody in there?"

Dewicked trope

* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Twice -- both times involving Roman Reigns and [[WeaponOfChoice ambulances]], no less. [[spoiler:At ''Payback 2017'', Reigns used an ambulance door to break Strowman's arm in retaliation (for having endured Strowman's ambulance-flipping SignatureScene) as well as self-defense (for Strowman's attempted KickThemWhileTheyAreDown after already CurbStompBattle-ing Reigns in their official ''Payback'' match). And then, at ''Great Balls of Fire 2017'', Strowman won the Ambulance match he'd challenged Reigns to... but then Reigns snapped, blindsided him, trapped him in said ambulance, and proceeded to deliberately wreck it ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoV''-style.]]

April. Once his noncompete expired, he started working the indies under his real name. In February 2022, he and Wrestling/{{EC3}} announced they were starting a new promotion known as CYN (for "[[FunWithAcronyms Control Your Narrative]]").

Badass Mustache and Badass Beard were merged into Manly Facial Hair. Examples that don't fit or are zero-context are removed. Having facial hair is not enough to qualify. To qualify for Manly Facial Hair, the facial hair must be associated with manliness in some way. Please read the trope description before re-adding to make sure the example qualifies.

* BadassBeard: Has been rocking one since going solo after the revived Brand Split.

** Despite his never-ending brutality, he was ''definitely'' a face coming out of ''Wrestling/WrestleMania 34'' where he picked a 10-year old boy called Nicholas to be his tag "partner", then ran over Sheamus and Cesaro single-handedly to win the RAW Tag Team Titles and celebrated with the kid in the ring. The next night on RAW he and Nicholas gave up the titles to GM Kurt Angle (because [[RealityEnsues Nicholas was only in the 4th grade and still had school]]), but he promised that once Nicholas finished school (in eight years) they'd be coming back for the titles. Braun Strowman is every kid's hero after that.
