* PigeonholedVoiceActor: Featuring Tom Kenny as a goofball, Will Friedle as a well-meaning everyguy, and Corey Burton as a robot. While Diedrich Bader's live action roles make him as Batman PlayingAgainstType (See Trivia), he's a super tough guy here as always when it comes to him voice acting.

* GagBoobs: When Batman is body-swapped with Katrina Moldoff, he is tied to a chair and attempts escaping, only to fall to the ground, whereupon he realises that, in Katrina's body, his centre of gravity is much... ''higher'' than usual.

* CasualDangerDialog: Batman with a number of his team ups. His conversation with Mr. Miracle on the Rollercoaster of Death could be the best example yet.

* ToTheBatnoun: Joker yells '''"TO THE BATMOBILE!"'''
** All three Batmen deliver their own variations on "To the Batcave!" in "A Bat Divided!"

* EmpoweredBadassNormal: A good number of episodes involve a hero using their abilities to temporarily give Batman superpowers. Like the time where he gets a suit of GreenLanternRing based armor, or a suit of armor made from the Metal Men, or the combined powers of all the heroes seen so far.

* GreenLanternRing: The sheer variety of these is just hilarious. Of course we have the TropeNamer, but also the Blue Beetle's armor, Firestorm, most shapeshifters (apparently, Plastic Man can transform his body into fuel for his own car form), even Batman's utility belt verges on this sometimes.

* AluminumChristmasTrees: In "Mitefall!", when Bat-Mite is trying to make the show more [[MerchandiseDriven toyetic]] in an effort to get it canceled, he gives Batman a talking hoversled with flame decals and matching outfit. There actually was a toy like this (it didn't talk, though), from ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries'', of all places.

* ArtisticLicenseHistory: Sherlock Holmes and Watson were real people!

* Most of the ''Series/Batman1966'' villains who cameoed went unnamed, specifically because WB hadn't sorted out the rights by 2008. The two that got speaking parts and thus had to be credited went under new names: ''Pharaoh'' for King Tut and ''Ma Murder'' for Ma Parker.

It's a [[WorldOfHam light-hearted take]] on the DC Comics mythos, with a high gag-per-minute level, very little secret-identity drama, and mainly goofy villains like Clock King and Gorilla Grodd. The massive number of obscure cameos and canon throwback jokes make the whole series into a big, campy collection of ContinuityPorn. In general, it's not that far from the style of the [[Series/Batman1966 '60s Batman show]]. There's a MusicalEpisode starring Creator/NeilPatrickHarris, a crossover with ''Franchise/ScoobyDoo'' which also animates an old Magazine/{{MAD}} parody titled "Bat Boy and Reubin" and [[Manga/{{Batman}} Bat-Manga]] and stars Music/WeirdAlYankovic, and a ColdOpen team up with WesternAnimation/SpaceGhost.

* LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters: Aside from having a few principal characters being recurring (Especially EnsembleDarkHorse AQUAMAN), there's a new batch ''each episode''!
