* In ''Film/BootCamp'', Dr. Hail honestly believes his program is a way to help troubled teens and their families. His zealotry blinds him to the fact that his program is essentially a prison camp where teens are brainwashed, and sometimes even killed.

His attempted genocide and terraforming of Earth into Krypton again wasn't inspired by malice towards the humans but a desperate attempt to save the Kryptonian race, as he was bred as a warrior to protect his race.

Ignoring the ecological disaster plunging Earth into a new Ice Age would cause, [=TJ=] points out that summer vacation doesn't work like that and the kids would still get their allotted breaks regardless of the weather, but Benedict is too far gone to listen to reason.

** ''WesternAnimation/ToyStory2'''s Stinky Pete wants Woody to go to Japan with him, Jessie and Bullseye because he believes that he is saving them from being destroyed by children. However, his methods of trying to convince Woody (framing Jessie for turning on the TV when he was the one who did it, screwing the vent shut before Woody can leave through it and ripping open Woody's arm) are really not the nicest ways he could have done it.
