Widget Series has been renamed to Quirky Work as per TRS (it's also YMMV).

* WidgetSeries: While this game has a defined plot, unlike ''Tomodachi Life'', it keeps the same bizarre humor and can become even weirder at times. Many of the Miis are picked randomly, rather than by Vinny's choice, meaning that a lot of strange characters show up.

In 2014, Vinny of WebVideo/{{Vinesauce}} fame started a playthrough of an odd life simulation game known as ''VideoGame/TomodachiLife''. [[WebVideo/VinesauceTomodachiLife This playthrough]] quickly became one of the longest-running and most popular series he's done, though he eventually concluded the series to prevent it from becoming stale. In 2017, a successor to this game was released, and Vinny decided to stream it, embarking on a very different -- but no less [[WidgetSeries weird]] -- adventure.

Much like the Tomodachi Life stream, there is fortunately a new playlist, also on the new channel Southbird provided

The series's full streams are [[https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLlc94szfcNDEjwFmDQLXfRq0pPFHEFEy8 here]]. Vinesauce collaborator WebVideo/CaptainSouthbird is once again making condensed edits of the streams, which can be found [[https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMFv2HcEaYn2p8zYYRilqMU53eVx5T6hu here]]. In addition, he has started his own playthrough of the game, featuring [[BreakoutCharacter Cling On the alien girl]] as the hero, numerous ''Tomodachi Life'' characters making cameos, and [[GameMod a self-made text corruption applied to the game]] that [[SillinessSwitch replaces most of the text with pieces of YouTube comments on Southbird's channel]]; the first video of this is [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4XqVIOSBJk here]].

* MassivelyNumberedSiblings: In the universe of this game (and by extension ''Tomodachi Life''), Vinny has stated that the "Mario" family consists of many brothers, both standard and bootleg. Those appearing in the game are Sponge, Hotel Mario, and Speed Luigi (the Cleric, Cat, and Pop Star in Vinesauce's party, respectively), the real Mario (now a DirtyOldMan who has retired to Neksdor Town), and Waluigi (a greedy genie who gets freed from his lamp prison by Prince Groose). Unseen members include Luigi, Wario, and Pretzel. Meanwhile, brothers Grunge and Schnitzel, the {{Evil Counterpart}}s to the Bootleg Mario Bros, are cousins to the family.

Gordon Ramsay is just called Gordon in this game, omitting the "Chef" part of his Mii's nickname in Tomodachi Life

* DarkerAndEdgier: Downplayed. Aside from the fact that the game features actual combat, as opposed to the (almost) purely verbal arguments of ''Tomodachi Life'', the characters--most notably [[SirSwearsALot Chef Gordon]]--now actually swear (since this game doesn't censor the characters' catch phrases, Vinny no longer has to come up with similar-sounding words like "fuhcking").
