Think about it; They have the same [[NiceHat hat]], they have [[EstrogenBrigade groupies]], main enemy is a Mad Scientist, they have an AlliterativeName, and started their series in 2007.

** If the timelines are the same (Recess is late 90s, Phineas and Ferb is late 2000s/early 2010s) this would make the Gretchen from Recess a teenage mother, which this troper can't imagine her being. A cousin is more likely.

[[WMG:Doofenshmirtz's Mother is cousin to The Red Skull]]
Red Skull mentioned he had a cousin who married a Druselstinian and now she is dead to him. Add to that she's a badly abusive parent, though nowhere near as evil as her war criminal relation. Poor Heinz was destined to be outclassed within the family, even if he were truly evil.

[[WMG: Ferb wrote ''Excaliferb''.]]
It's previously been theorized that Irving wrote the book, citing theories about him knowing about Perry's double life. However between ''Ready for the Bettys'' and his reaction to Agent P in Across the Second Dimension, it is very easy to believe Ferb knows as well. It is easy to believe therefore that Ferb is the one who wrote Excaliferb, this explains why Ferb is the chosen one and protagonist of the book; as he's by far the more verbal one, Phineas is the one who normally gets the attention, so Ferb made himself the hero of the book.

Back when commercial travel wasn't readily available, and the City Dump seen in ''Phineas And Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo'' hadn't been started yet, Joseph [[SherlockHolmes Watson]] Alimentary founded the canal, allowing the Tri-State Area to be a reasonable site for the future city of Danville. My main source of WMG fodder is [[ThemeNaming Spleen Island]] (Lake Nose is almost definitely a natural formation near the beginning of the waterway, and not just for the "___'s real nose" pun. I doubt people would care as much if someone had simply built a giant cement nose on a mountain)- However, my only source on the name of Lake Badbeard is the Phineas and Ferb wiki, since I never heard them call it that in the episode, so if the Wiki is incorrect on that count, the ThemeNaming may go even further with the lake name.\\

[[WMG: Drusselstein was created after World War II as a safe haven for German Jews.]]
Most of the proper names associated with Drusselstein have clear non-German influence. For example, many of them are spelled with SH (instead of SCH as would be spelled in German) or TZ (which doesn't exist in German), both of which exist in Hebrew/Yiddish. Many Drusselsteinians (especially Dr. Doofenshmirtz) also fit many Jewish stereotypes, such as having a long nose, beady eyes, a bad accent, and exploitative business practices ("Doofenshmirtz Evil '''Inc.'''").
* Drusselstein claims to have a centuries-long history. However, during most of the 2nd millennium, Germany was a loosely organized group of kingdoms and principalities, and it is highly possible that Drusselstein views itself as the successor to these.
* If this is true, then Drusselstein is likely on the coast of the Baltic Sea, in modern-day northeast Germany/northwest Poland. Drusselstein would have probably allied with NATO during the Cold War, giving NATO a massive military advantage, and accelerating the technological arms race between NATO and the Warsaw Pact. This possibly led to advanced technologies that Phineas and Ferb use in the show.

Well, Phineas and Ferb did have a Random Rings Crossover with Big City Greens, as Heinz Doofensmirtz appears in some of the Random Rings episodes so this might makes sense.

[[folder:Phineas and Ferb takes place in the same universe as the other shows]]
While Chris Houghton confirmed that Phineas and Ferb takes place in the same universe, it might imply that the other Disney animated shows (including Kim Possible) take place in the same universe as well.

* Can't say anything definite, since we don't know a lot about the movie, but that seems a little like a BrokenAesop or a FamilyUnfriendlyAesop in this context. If you look up Film/MrsDoubtfire on the latter's page, you'll see a point about how "Sometimes, people are better parents if they are divorced.", which fits the show itself, since it was an attempt to portray a happy blended family. In Heinz and Charlene's case, the FamilyUnfriendlyAesop page also covers another point: it would give a false hope to kids whose parents have divorced. So I'm not prematurely saying that this is {{Jossed}}, I'm just trying to think it all the way through-- you know, because the writers think of everything.

*That may explain why they never mention their absent parents. Because they only had one parent to begin with and, thus, wouldn't have any ''need'' to mention them in the first place. The mitosis theory may also go hand-in-hand with the brothers being aliens from another planet.

[[WMG: The "nemesis" relationship and the "bully/nerd" relationship are branches of the same specific accepted relationship status in the PNF universe, outside of the concept of secret agents, comparable to [[Webcomic/{{Homestuck}} kismesitude.]]]]
It's already clear in canon that a nemesis-ship is as legitimate a bond as a romantic relationship, most evident in the Peter the Panda situation. Likewise, Buford and Baljeet eventually treat their "bullying" relationship as a ritualistic means of expressing interest in one another, with Baljeet seeing Buford as "his" nerd and such. Both relationships reflect an accepted committed relationship style in Danville culture, and possibly in the entire Dwampyverse, where you constantly mess with the other's plans as a means to show affection and encourage their growth. It goes beyond the binary of "[[VitriolicBestBuds friendship]]" or "[[SlapSlapKiss romance]]" and is its own kind of relationship.
