Nevertheless, despite no large calamity; ForWantOfANail some major changes occured. The largest being; ironically, the robot sent by the Messians from the future to stop the rogue time traveller. Damage from combat with Raidou Kuzunoha changed Rasputin's priorities, and he chose to stay in the past and enjoy himself peacefully. The Malevolent Entity would again try to use a god as a mask (in fact, manipulate Shinado into wearing the mask of Abaddon.) But failed.

** The Malevolent Entity who uses men and gods as masks; is not finished. He [[{{Videogame/Persona4}} manipulated Izanami]] into trying to bring about the Fall again. Igor shut this down with another young man; who forced the Myriad Truths of the world at Izanami. Perhaps she understood in the end she was being used; and gave up her role; costing the Malevolent Entity a piece. Much like how YAWHEH was co-opted by Messiah; Igor spiritually subsumes Izanami into Kusumi-no-Okami.

* Like what is said in Raidou vs King Abaddon, its possible Shinando became Philemon and Nyarlathotep as a result of humanities wishes. Remember how Raidou saw them with the Sad and Angry masks but other than that? They looked just like him. Now what do they look like when Tatsuya sees them? Punching Philemon makes Tatsuya see himself while Nyarl takes his form in EP. They are seen this way because Shinando, who became Philemon and Nyarl, are in fact the Persona and Shadow of all of humanity itself and look like the person who is looking like them. While Nyarl is Nyarl in EP he is also Tatsuya's shadow. After EP since Nyarl was suppressed so was Philemon and they broke up into pieces... back into the Abyss, but they aren't strictly gone. Nyarl's making of rumours coming true was in fact still intact but weakened. Rumours of the end of the world and of the midnight channel by humans made them in their fractured forms come back... as Tartarus and the TV World itself, (they existed prior as the Abyss but came into a stronger form accessible to humans because of the rumours)and because they are now in this two halves of a whole fractured form they summon Nyx and Izanami to answer humanities wishes just like Shinando was trying to do before and that is the Despair that they represent. To counteract this the spirit of "Raidou" lives on in the Persona Protagonist as the Wild Card which represent feelings to the future, humanities Hope despite the despair and it is a fair fight between the two forces. If you remember Shinando's boss form and then look at Ameno-Sagiri...
And why demons disappeared and Persona's appeared maybe that Raidou's successors suppressed the Demons so well they became Rumours.
This is why they only appear in this universe when something drastic happens and rumours bring them back to life, but they also became like Shinando a part of the Collective Unconcious as they originate from the Abyss which is why they take the forms of Persona and act as protectors for humans as well.
Then it may be as the guy far below me said, the Demi-Fiend cemented it and made it that all demons are Persona except when Nyarl and Philemon act up.
This would also mean the theory that Teddie is Lucifer or maybe more accurately in his case Helel may be true.
This also means that its possible that the Persona 2 characters can get their memories back as Minato/Makoto is the seal now which holds back a large amount of the Despair in the world. If the TV World is the Collective Unconcious itself then, while Minato's body is indeed dead then his mind may in fact still exist there as his soul is still around in the seal.

This is also why the Kirijo Group used them. Shadows are difficult to find in the Real World, so the Kirijo Group developed a way to turn normal people into Shadows for their own purposes. The fact that doing so also allowed them to study Personas more was just a secondary benefit - each person could be kept alive so long with Suppressants, their Persona studied, and then, when their Persona can is no longer useful to them, stop providing Suppressants, and have them turn into Shadows.

Of course, the problem comes in the fact that the Suppressants themselves will actually kill them eventually too.

Those with artificially induced Personas aren't actually killed by their Personas. Instead, what dies is their sense of self - they turn into Shadows.

Margaret has described herself multiple times as "One who rules over power," and Theodore describes himself similarly at the start of his BonusBoss fight. The description of "Power", the persona, states that Powers, the order of angels, are academically driven and are concerned with ideology, philosophy, theology, religion, and documents, explaining their fascination with the real world and the reason they seek the old documents from Tartarus. It is also said they serve as advisers and policy planners and have the duty of overseeing the distribution of power among humankind, so the "One who rules over power" is practically a dead on giveaway.

But the Great Seal caught up with him and he died again, which his followers took as an ascension to Heaven. Has anyone seen ''NeonGenesisEvangelion''? If you have, remember Kyoko's fate - she lost part of her soul and went insane. According to some of the theories, Rei also lost part of her soul in the transition from Rei I to Rei II, and became an EmotionlessGirl. The same applies here - Minato lost part of his soul forming the Great Seal, and as a result, was unable to stay awake for long periods of time. He actually fell asleep several times between January 31 and March 5, and woke up after Graduation.//
