Added DiffLines:

* AndThenWhat: When you defeat one of the (otherwise redeemable) villains, one of your party members, Murmina, wants to finish him off. However, the protagonist stands between them to stop Murmina and asks her what exactly she plans to do after her revenge. He is trying to see whether she truly only lives for vengeance and whether she is as consumed by hate as she claims.

Added DiffLines:

* DifficultySpike: In the middle of the third generation (chapter) you get to fight Midas, who proved to be [[ThatOneBoss That One Boss]] for many. However, it also starts off a tendency of ridiculously powerful bosses. Up until that point, bosses weren't such a big deal. After Midas, however, they start to regenerate truly large chunks of their hit points and start using one-hitting area of effect attacks that cover half of the battlefield. Not to mention, the game starts to routinely throw 2-3 bosses at you.

Added DiffLines:

* GoThroughMe: In the last chapter, after beating one of the (otherwise redeemable) villains, Murmina wants to take revenge on said villain for committing genocide against her people. However, the main hero stands between them and asks Murmina to go through him, if she wants her revenge. He knows she is not a bad person at heart, but wants to see if she is really as consumed by hatred and the thirst for vengeance as she claims. [[spoiler:His bet pays off, as Murmina is incapable of exacting her revenge if that is the price.]]

Added DiffLines:

* TakeOffYourClothes: After an earthquake swallows Ladius and one of the heroines they end up in a cave and fall into an underground river. Once he assesses the situation, Ladius concludes that they should probably wait for rescue. However, since they are soaking wet the cold is a major problem, so, to best conserve heat, Ladius promptly asks the heroine to remove her clothes, to varying levels of confusion and embarrassment on her part.

While all the stats have their use based on character builds, Vitality is necessary for all of them since, in addition to increasing defense, it also increases the amount of HP gained per level, and (this is NOT applied retroactively). As such it is best to put in as many points as possible into this stat, while leaving some for other stats.

!!Record of Agarest War Marriage

The newest Agarest game of Compile Heart, however this time they're teaming up with the former staff who worked on the 'VideoGame/SummonNight'' games. The artwork is now done instead by someone named "Blade" instead of the usual artwork by Hirano Katsuyuki.

The story goes that the first generation protagonist will fail to kill the demon king so his three choices of wives will have to carry his soul to pass on to his descendants so that one day, they get to kill the demon king.

Tis game is for the UsefulNotes/PlayStationPortable, a departure from the usual platform for the series.

----
!! ''Record of Agarest War Marriage'' contains the following tropes:

* ClothingDamage: A first for the series as a gameplay mechanic. The lesser clothing a heroine has, the more powerful she becomes.
* DatingSim: Gains a lot more precedence compared to the first three games.

** AgarestSenki2 also does this one ''in the opening!'' According to the gameplay however, it was a bad idea to punch out [[spoiler: [[FinalBoss Summerill]] and [[TrueFinalBoss Chaos]]]].

* AntiGrinding: Despite having a lot of things that encourage players to grind, straying out of the main quest to train adds more turns to the total count, [[LostForever which will result some events and characters to be blocked or lost permanently]]. Being stronger than the game expects also cuts down battle bonus and benefit you get in the main quests. [[SubvertedTrope US release modded the game so that you can grind in a dungeon all you want without spending turns.]]
