Just wanted to clarify that Lucas walking in on the Magyspy taking a hot spring bath isn't him being a pervert. In Japanese culture, you're supposed to bathe without your clothes on and it's heavily discouraged to bathe with clothing on. Also, the hot springs in the game are for any gender and person to use. Therefore, Lucas isn't being a pervert there either, as he's simply just walking in to bathe in the hot spring.
Is there an issue? Send a MessageReason:
I looked through Mother 3 and asked a knowledgeable friend about it and the Kumatora being nude in the hot spring didn't happen. Also, the other instance of covert pervert where Lucas walks into a Magyspy bathing in a hot spring isn't him being perverted either. In Japanese culture, people typically are not allowed to wear clothes in hot springs as I searched up online. The hot springs are also available for all genders to use, so it isn't him being intrusive here. He's simply just walking in to bathe in the hot spring.

Lucas walking towards the shower isn't the only way that makes Kumatora step out. If Lucas waits long enough, Kumatora will eventually exit the shower. She will also exit the shower if he walks near the hallway door. Therefore, he isn't being a pervert here as this is moreso the player's choice. I said something about on his character page.

Mother 3 is notable for its long development cycle (approximately the length of the already-long production of the previous title), having been planned almost immediately after Mother 2 was released. Details began to surface of Mother 3 as a UsefulNotes/Nintendo 64 title -- as part of the now-failed Nintendo 64DD add-on -- and was even given the tentative worldwide title [=EarthBound=] 64 before falling into vaporware territory (its earliest development predated VideoGame/DukeNukemForever's, which didn't surpass its time in DevelopmentHell until 2007). It was officially cancelled in 2000, but eventually resurfaced in 2003 and was finally released for the UsefulNotes/GameBoyAdvance in 2006 -- apparently due to renewed interest while Mother 1+2 was being worked on. However, Nintendo has yet to release the game outside of Japan, despite vocal campaigns of support for an international release. Lucas eventually saw international recognition due to his inclusion in VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosBrawl.
Nintendo would end up not releasing the game outside of Japan, as not only did [=EarthBound=] horrifically undersell in North America, but the GBA was also all but dead in North America and Europe by the time Mother 3 released; by 2006, they had effectively stopped releasing first-party games for the system in Western markets in favor of focusing on the UsefulNotes/NintendoDS. In response, a project to create an English-language FanTranslation began, which took two years to complete. Releasing in 2008, the fan translation would later receive an update in 2014 that fixed up minor typos, grammatical errors, and bugs; it can be found here, though you'll need an official copy of the game to play it. As it stands, the translation is currently the only way to ever play the game in a language that is not Japanese. For ease of reference, this unofficial translation is the primary source for tropes.

Mother 3 is notable for its long development cycle (approximately the length of the already-long production of the previous title), having been planned almost immediately after Mother 2 was released. Details began to surface of Mother 3 as a UsefulNotes/{{Nintendo Platform/Nintendo 64 title -- as part of the now-failed Nintendo 64DD add-on -- and was even given the tentative worldwide title [=EarthBound=] 64 before falling into vaporware territory (its earliest development predated VideoGame/DukeNukemForever's, which didn't surpass its time in DevelopmentHell until 2007). It was officially cancelled in 2000, but eventually resurfaced in 2003 and was finally released for the UsefulNotes/GameBoyAdvance Platform/GameBoyAdvance in 2006 -- apparently due to renewed interest while Mother 1+2 was being worked on. However, Nintendo has yet to release the game outside of Japan, despite vocal campaigns of support for an international release. Lucas eventually saw international recognition due to his inclusion in VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosBrawl.
