* ArchEnemy: In some earlier levels, Dr. Cliché is assigned this position, usually ignoring the conditions under which he was the antagonist of VideoGame/WithinADeepForest (and the built-in "An Underwater Adventure" level) to make him a more generic villain.

** Midway through the level ''Gaseous soap'', a pink creature interrupts a cutscene to tell Juni she took a "Mushroom Drug" and has been laying on the floor and complaining about soap, although she dismisses them and the plot continues. [[spoiler:The ending implies that [[SubvertedTrope everything was real..]]]]

* SturgeonsLaw: There are ''a lot'' of levels uploaded on knyttlevels.com, and a bunch of them are buggy, unfinished, or are just plain uninteresting and uncreatively employ the default music and tilesets to the point of abuse. There are, however, also some really, ''really'' good levels that obviously had a lot of time and testing put into them. Newcomers wondering about which ones to try should probably go [[http://nifflas.lpchip.nl/index.php?topic=427.0 here]].

A freeware platformer game by Nicklas "Creator/{{Nifflas}}" Nygren, creator of similar freeware platformers such as ''VideoGame/WithinADeepForest'' and the original ''VideoGame/{{Knytt}}''. Though it only comes with one full level and a tutorial, the game has an integrated level editor and new levels are very easy to install. Tons of levels can be found on [[http://nifflas.ni2.se/forum/ Nifflas' forums]] and on [[http://knyttlevels.com/ knyttlevels.com]].
