They were a galaxy wide power around the time of DungeonOfTheEndless, were on the wane by the time of EndlessLegend, and are totally gone by the time Endless Space begins. All that remains are the United Empire, which grew out of one of their ColonyShip, and the Vaulters, who can trace their origins to a Mezari penal colony on Auriga.
