* NamesTheSame: The series has the same name as a ''Series/StarTrekVoyager'' episode written by this show's head writer, Brannon Braga. That episode was pretty much universally hated (including by Braga himself), and is the only episode of any ''Franchise/StarTrek'' episode ever to be made CanonDiscontinuity. Fortunately, this show was much better received (at least by people who knew about it).

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: After cancellation, details on a number of future plotlines emerged. What made them further interesting was the fact the series had a clear, planned-ahead goals with it's story, being written from the start for a three-season series.

* ScrewedByTheNetwork: The network screwed the show over by switching it to a bad time slot and then cancelling it ONE DAY LATER.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: after cancellation, details on a number of very ambitious future plotlines emerged.

* RetroactiveRecognition: It's [[Series/GameOfThrones Tyrion Lannister]] as a CunningLinguist!
** Even more amusingly, Ramsey and Tyrion are both similar in personalities, especially in their favorite pastimes.
