Names The Same is no longer a trope

* NamesTheSame:
** The series shares its name with an album released in 1983. Adding to the confusion, the theme songs are called "We Are the Care Bears" (the show) and "We're the Care Bears" (the album).
** The name of the episode "Erased" and the manga ''Manga/{{Erased}}'' [[note]] aka ''Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi'' (The Town Without Only Me) [[/note]]. Hilarious, seen the differences.

* RecycledScript: One episode features Cheer Bear working herself crazy trying to cheer up Grumpy Bear, much like an episode of the [=DiC=] series -- but ultimately it ends up having a much different message, as she realizes that if she just left him alone to fix the broken gadget, he would have cheered up on his own once that was done.

Added DiffLines:

* ScrewedByTheNetwork: An odd case with this show that not many know of is that it was originally produced in 16:9 widescreen HD. Only the original CBS airings of the show were ever broadcast this way abit shrunken down to fit a standard 4:3 aspect ratio. However, every other broadcaster and even DVD releases around the world (even the official Care Bears [=YouTube=] channel) has the show cropped to a 4:3 ratio, leading to many fans being completely unaware that the show was formatted this way to begin with. The only DVD to feature the show in widescreen is the US release of ''Grizzle-ly Adventures'', which contained two direct-to-video episodes, yet its sister DVD: ''Ups and Downs'', is cropped. It's unknown if digital download services, including Creator/{{Netflix}} or Creator/PrimeVideo have either the 16:9 or 4:3 prints.
